* DiscOneFinalBoss: For ''WesternAnimation/JurassicWorldCampCretaceous''. She seems to be the BigBad of Season 1, but she gets tangled up in the events of ''Jurassic World'', leaving Toro to be the season's BigBad. By the time of Season 2, [[spoiler:she's already dead, with Brooklynn and Darius seeing her corpse (although it is never being shown on-screen)]].
* TheDreaded: She was specifically created to be this to boost ticket sales for Jurassic World. It worked. ''Way'' too well. To the point that even the ''other animals in the Park'' are terrified of her. She manages to scare the highly territorial ''Pteranodons'' and ''Dimorphodons'' out of the Aviary, and invokes an "OhCrap" face in an ''Ankylosaurus''.

* GeniusBruiser: She's big, and she's ''smart''.
* GiantEqualsInvincible: An absolute juggernaut that is completely unaffected by machine-gun fire, rockets, rifle bullets, tranqs, and shotguns throughout the movie. Even multiple fights with other huge dinosaurs and getting rebar speared into her barely even slow her down, so it would be fitting that [[spoiler:she would ultimately be taken down by the one predator on the island [[AlwaysABiggerFish bigger than her]].]]

* ImmuneToBullets: During her attack against the [=ACU=] team, one trooper shoots her multiple times with a shotgun to no effect. Later, during the nighttime ambush, she takes several full mags of combined assault rifle fire and seems completely unphased (in fact the sparks flying off her and lack of blood seem to suggest the bullets are at least partially deflecting off her osteoderms). It takes Owen's big game brush rifle to visibly punch holes in her, and she doesn't seem hindered in any way by the shots.

** In comparison to previous dinosaur antagonists, this one is the most threatening, homicidal, intelligent, depraved, and frightening. [[spoiler:She also manages to kill the Hammond {{expy}} Simon Masrani, who only wants to delight the visitors, much like Hammond, and dies trying to stop this dino from going on a rampage, which shows how much a dangerous threat she is: not even the park owner can stop her.]]

* MadeOfIron: She shrugs off tranq darts, nets, cattle prods, and automatic weapons-fire like they're nothing. She charges and kills an ACU guard emptying a combat shotgun into her without even breaking her stride. Shooting her just makes her angrier. Only ANTI-TANK weapons can even ''stun'' her: minigun bullets force her to retreat into an enclosure, and a ''rocket launcher'' only succeeds in knocking her down and frightening her off. She even takes a direct hit to the face from an ''Ankylosaurus'' tail (hypothesized by paleontologists to be capable of breaking a ''T. rex'''s leg) without any noticeable damage. [[spoiler:It takes the combined might of the ''T. rex'', the last ''Velociraptor'' Blue, and the ''Mosasaurus'' to finally bring her down.]]

** Horns across her head and body are from ''Carnotaurus'', ''Majungasaurus'', ''Rugops'', and ''Giganotosaurus'' DNA. This gives her an almost demonic appearance and a very tough hide, ignoring wounds from other dinosaurs and ''shrugging off'' multiple shotgun blasts. This theropod blend also gives her a set of teeth that regrow quickly.

** Wide-opening jaws, swallowing ability, and infrared vision are apparently from snake DNA.

** Long clawed arms, quills, and a slimmer head profile from ''Velociraptor'' DNA. Also a source of her heightened intelligence over a ''T. rex''. [[spoiler:Being part-raptor means the raptor pack pauses instead of immediately attacking her, starts communicating with her (giving friendly raptor-like chirps), and accepts the huge ''I. rex'' as their new Alpha.]]

* PrehistoricMonster: A genetically-engineered hybrid dinosaur made from various DNA of prehistoric and modern-day animals, deliberately designed to be bigger and meaner than ''T. rex'' with exaggerated predatory features, and spent most of its life in an isolated, small enclosure. The result? A vicious, unstoppable monster bent on slaughtering the entire population of dinosaurs and humans on the island for sport.

* SpikesOfVillainy: Her neck and back are armored by pointy osteoderms inherited from her abelisaur genetic contributors -- namely ''Carnotaurus'', ''Majungasaurus'', and ''Rugops'' -- that emphasize her menacing appearance and nature.

* TorturedMonster: Given that she was [[spoiler:deliberately]] engineered to be as aggressive and vicious as possible, and raised in total isolation. Owen theorizes that her actions are driven by the fact that she has no idea how to interact with her environment; therefore, she sees any living creature as a threat.

* TRexpy: One of the creatures making up her genetic material is ''Tyrannosaurus rex'', which shows in her physical appearance. She's a gigantic predator, even larger than ''T. rex'', with a similar bulky build and large head. However, her arms are much longer than ''T. rex'''s, she's able to use them for grasping, and her body is covered in SpikesOfVillainy. Additionally, she has odd features like extendable jaws similar to a snake, and camouflage abilities similar to a cuttlefish.
* UnskilledButStrong: An engineered apex predator who has brawn and brain, but little in the way of experience. Played straight with the encounter with the ''T. rex.'' While the ''I. rex'' is tough and formidable, the ''T. rex'' is plainly battle-scarred and has fighting experience. The encounter with the ''T. rex'' is the first time the ''I. rex'' has encountered an opponent who isn't afraid, knows how to fight ''and fights back,'' and is approximately the same size as she is. The ''T. rex'' also has the advantage of not going up against the ''I. rex'' alone.
* VillainousBreakdown: When the raptors return to Owen's side, ''Indominus'' reacts quite violently. It only gets worse as she fights them while being shot at by Owen, [[spoiler:faces off against Rexy, and is distracted and attacked by Blue]]. That last one causes ''Indominus'' to give a body-shaking bellow of pure rage and madness just before [[spoiler:she gets manhandled, or rather, dino-handled, by Rexy and Blue and then dragged underwater by ''Mosasaurus'']].

* LastOfTheirKind: Since they alongside all the others animals on Mantahcorp Island are most likely alive and well post-''Fallen Kingdom'' and during ''Dominion'' this would mean they are the last living hybrid dinosaurs in the Jurassic canon as the '' Indomius'', ''Scorpios'' and ''Indoraptor'' are all dead.

* TragicVillain: Of all of Wu's Hybrids he might be the most tragic, In comparison to the rabid ''Scorpius'' and the ''Indominus'' which had a comparatively better upbringing on Nublar yet still turned into a malicious monster that killed its own sibling and many other dinosaurs for sport. The ''Indoraptor '' was created just so it could be abused and tortured in order to turn it into a military AttackAnimal and lived its whole life inside a tiny cage in the subbasement of Lockwood manor, if it had been raised and trained properly like the raptor squad and been in the care of someone other than the selfish and cruel Mills and uncaring Wu it may have not ended up the sadistic and viscous creature it became.

* WoundedGazelleGambit: Pretends to be incapacitated by Wheatley's tranqs convincingly enough to [[spoiler:successfully lure Wheatley within chomping distance. How he even knows Wheatley would be dumb enough to fall for it is a mystery.]]

* AbnormalLimbRotationRange: It moves its forearms farther than other bipedal dinosaurs in the franchise, and they seem to be more independent of each other.
* AbusiveParent: Coupled with AbusiveOffspring. When the Scorpios Rex [[spoiler:was discovered to be capable of asexually reproducing with the reveal of another Scorpios, it was also revealed that both creatures will drop everything and try to kill each other on sight, meaning that whenever they fight the parent is mercilessly trying to kill its own offspring and vice versa.]]

* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: The greatest weakness of the ''Scorpios'' is its chaotic nature makes it extremely easily distracted. It is mesmerized by fire and the first time the kids encounter it, it corners them and could easily have killed them, but gets distracted by the sound of distant dinosaurs, which draws its attention and cause it to completely forget about the kids and run off to chase the dinos.

* BewareMyStingerTail: It uses the razor-sharp quills on its tail to slash, impale, and inject venom.

* DarkIsEvil: The ''Scorpios rex'' is predominantly black, much like the ''Indoraptor'', and is just as bloodthirsty.
* DeathFromAbove: Loves to utilize this method, and is hard to spot in the dark.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: [[spoiler:Despite being the primary threat of Season 3, the ''Scorpios rex'' are killed about 3/4ths of the way through the season, with Dr. Wu and his mercenaries serving as the final obstacle faced by the kids before their escape from the island.]]
* TheDreaded: Almost every animal on Isla Nublar is ''terrified'' of it, and its presence causes them to behave abnormally.

* HumanPopsicle: It was cryogenically frozen before the wires were chewed up.

* LightningBruiser: The Scorpios rex is fast and is much stronger than its lanky appearance would indicate, easily knocking around a limo.

* MoodSwinger: According to Dr. Wu, the ''Scorpios'' is this, placid one moment and then hyper-aggressive the next. We only ever see it in its psychotically murderous mode, though. We do see it suffer from AttentionDeficitOohShiny.
* MurderInTheFamily: [[spoiler:It turns out there are two of them, and Darius hypothesizes that the ''Scorpios'' reproduces asexually. The horror that there are two of these psychopathic monsters is somewhat lessened by the fact that they absolutely hate one another, despite very well being parent and child, and they will drop everything to attack each other.]]
* NothingIsScarier: For the first two seasons, and for much of Season 3, we know next to ''nothing'' about it aside from the extremely vague hints that Eddie drops.
* OurManticoresAreSpinier: Its vaguely cat-like body shape, short human-like face, and venomous tail quills all call to mind the mythical manticore.
* OutsideContextProblem: Discussed: part of how the Camp Fam has survived this long is by knowing how the dinosaurs should act, and therefore how to avoid them. The ''Scorpios'' is a complete unknown, and its presence even causes the rest of the dinosaur population to act erratically.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: The ''Scorpios'' is relatively small as far as large predators go; roughly the same size as a ''Parasaurolophus'', it's only slightly larger than the ''Indoraptor''. However, thanks to its many genetic enhancements, it's a deadly killing machine capable of taking out a ''Ceratosaurus'' in seconds.

* PsychoPrototype: ''The'' prototype, the first successful hybrid dinosaur Wu made, and an absolutely psychotic killer. Funnily enough, the park execs ended up wanting to put it down not because of its temperament, but because they considered it too ugly to make a good attraction. Even Wu thought this thing was a failure.

* StrongFamilyResemblance: [[spoiler: The second ''Scorpios'' looks identical to the original, making it impossible to tell them apart, the campers even mistook them for the same creature until discovering there were two.]]

Everything about the I-Rex, from her weird abilities to her extreme aggression, and even her sociopathy is directly caused by the fact that she was created in a lab to be scary. When Masrani demands answers for her behavior, Dr. Wu simply informs him that you can't give a creature all these different parts from other predators without the corresponding behavioral traits. The increased intelligence specifically means that Indominus has the capability to go insane like any other highly sapient lifeform.
