On November 11th, 2017, What Pumpkin unveiled a "[[http://hs.hiveswap.com/trollcall/ Troll Call]]", which is a feature of trolls that will be appearing in Act 2, two at a time every week.

Tropes applying to all of them:
* AlphabeticalThemeNaming: All Tealblood trolls revealed so far have first names beginning with T. Sharing this trait with Terezi implies that all Tealbloods have this, except [[OddNameOut Latula,]] [[JustifiedTrope although this could be because she's from]] [[AlternateUniverse Beforus]].
** On 7th February, a Tealblood was introduced who finally broke the pattern, Stelsa Sezyat. It should be noted, however, that all known Tealbloods still have at least one T somewhere in their names.
** Similarly, All Jadebloods seen so far have at least one Y somewhere in their names, including surnames.
* AmbiguousGender: Some of the trolls revealed have appearances that make it hard to tell what their gender is, and the lack of pronouns referring to them only makes it more of a mystery. Unless WordOfGod states what their genders are, it's left to the imagination until Act 2 is out.
* BaitAndSwitch: The silhouettes can sometimes be misleading. For example, a few fans have assumed certain silhouettes would be trolls of a certain blood colour, only for them to turn out to be another. The Soleil twins had a silhouette that looked like just one troll, which people have now assumed to be one standing in front of the other. And before Tegiri was revealed, his silhouette looked like he was holding a fishing rod. It turned out to be a katana.
* {{Expy}} - Initially, a lot of them shared certain, uncanny traits with ''Homestuck'' trolls, especially those on Alternia who they share blood color with.
** Zebede shares Sollux's blood color and profession, and Tyzias shares Terezi's.
** Zebede's symbol is something between two horizontal bars, like Sollux's, and Mallek's is a curvy line that ends with an arrow, like Vriska's. Although, with the revelation of the Extended Zodiac, pretty much all troll symbols look like other symbols of their blood color.
** Both Mallek and (Vriska) have a buzzcut and piercings. Elwurd also has part of her hair shaved, similarly-shaped horns, and her bio explicitly states that she's "Not Vriska."
** Daraya and Kanaya share the last three letters of their names and horn shape (although, Daraya's left horn is reversed).
** The Soleils are dead ringers for Gamzee both by their use of facial makeup and their status as conjoined twin lookalikes with yin/yang personalities, mirroring [[spoiler:sober]] Gamzee's [[spoiler:alternating between two distinct moods for every sentence]]. They could also be allegories for [[spoiler: the messiahs that Sober!Gamzee keeps mentioning (or perhaps they ''are'' those messiahs)]].
** While Equius does not have an artificial limb, like Nihkee does, he is known to create artificial robotic limbs (and even bodies) for others in need.
** Chahut and The Grand Highblood are both shown with RapunzelHair and splatters in all blood colors (though, GHB has the splatters in his background and not on himself). Naturally, for both, there is debate on whether or not lime is one of the colors.
** Skylla received this treatment ''before being revealed'', commonly being nicknamed "Cowgirl Vriska" due to her silhouette. However, she was revealed to not even be the same blood color. Even then, she and Diemen share little with their blood siblings.
** Speaking of silhouettes, another notable one is "Joey's trollsona"[[note]]directly to the left of Mallek[[/note]]. They turned out to be a Bronzeblood, Chixie, whose horns are curved downwards, making their silhouette look like the horns were part of the hairstyle.
** Kuprum is this to both Sollux and his ancestor. Like both characters, he has eyes of two different colours (Although his are purple and yellow as opposed to red and blue), and is said to be a powerful psychic. Folykl, meanwhile, has eyes similar to how Sollux's eyes looked [[spoiler: after he went blind]], implying that [[spoiler: she's also blind]]. ** Downplayed with Charun and Polypa. They share certain characteristics with fellow Olive-Blood Nepeta (Charun lives in a cave, while Polypa can give good relationship advice and can be vicious in the right circumstances), but other than that they appear more unique than most other expies listed above.
** For a character that’s an Expy of one outside of ''Homestuck'', Galekh is a dead ringer for [[WesternAnimation/GravityFalls Dipper]], with his cosmic-sounding name, InsufferableGenius tendencies, and pine tree-like horns.
** Vikare is a Bronze troll with horns that look similar to those of Tavros, and also shares Tavros' dreams of some kind of flight. His hat and goggles also make him look similar to Horrus, leading to jokes that he's the child of Horuss and Tavros or Rufioh.
** In contrast to Elwurd's "Not Vriska," Ardata's profile says that she is "Probably Vriska." She also has a ThirdEye which may or may not give her an ability similar to Vriska's Vision Eightfold. Her outfit also looks a bit like Marquise's. However, she doesn't seem to have any other similarities with her; even her horns are different from those of the other cobalt trolls seen so far.
** Marvus is a purple-blooded troll who wears face paint similar to Gamzee's, and his outfit looks like that of someone who would work at a circus, fitting in with the clown theme of purple trolls.
** Design-wise, Tagora's smug face and dark striped pants give him a resemblance to [[Series/LazyTown Robbie Rotten]].
** Zebruh is an Indigo-blood with an interest in Olive-blooded females, which harkens back to Equius being moilrails with Nepeta. Additionally, his horns look like Horuss' infamous horse dildo.
* LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters - Thirty-six slots for trolls were revealed. However, some of them were actually two trolls posing as one silhouette, increasing the number even more:
** The Soleils originally appeared as a single troll, but then were revealed to be two, due to either being ConjoinedTwins or simply being twins that pose as a single person a lot. That brought the number to thirty-seven.
** Then it became thirty-eight with the reveal that one of the silhouettes that looked like someone carrying something large on their back was revealed to be a troll (Kuprum) wearing some kind of backpack with another troll (Folykl) riding on it.
* MeaningfulName - Given how ''Homestuck'' names its trolls, it's only natural.

* AlphabeticalThemeNaming: All Tealblood trolls revealed so far have first names beginning with T. Sharing this trait with Terezi implies that all Tealbloods have this, except [[OddNameOut Latula,]] [[JustifiedTrope although this could be because she's from]] [[AlternateUniverse Beforus]].
** On 7th February, a Tealblood was introduced who finally broke the pattern, Stelsa Sezyat. It should be noted, however, that all known Tealbloods still have at least one T somewhere in their names.
** Similarly, All Jadebloods seen so far have at least one Y somewhere in their names, including surnames.
* AmbiguousGender: Some of the trolls revealed have appearances that make it hard to tell what their gender is, and the lack of pronouns referring to them only makes it more of a mystery. Unless WordOfGod states what their genders are, it's left to the imagination until Act 2 is out.
* BaitAndSwitch: The silhouettes can sometimes be misleading. For example, a few fans have assumed certain silhouettes would be trolls of a certain blood colour, only for them to turn out to be another. The Soleil twins had a silhouette that looked like just one troll, which people have now assumed to be one standing in front of the other. And before Tegiri was revealed, his silhouette looked like he was holding a fishing rod. It turned out to be a katana.
* {{Expy}} - Initially, a lot of them shared certain, uncanny traits with ''Homestuck'' trolls, especially those on Alternia who they share blood color with.
** Zebede shares Sollux's blood color and profession, and Tyzias shares Terezi's.
** Zebede's symbol is something between two horizontal bars, like Sollux's, and Mallek's is a curvy line that ends with an arrow, like Vriska's. Although, with the revelation of the Extended Zodiac, pretty much all troll symbols look like other symbols of their blood color.
** Both Mallek and (Vriska) have a buzzcut and piercings. Elwurd also has part of her hair shaved, similarly-shaped horns, and her bio explicitly states that she's "Not Vriska."
** Daraya and Kanaya share the last three letters of their names and horn shape (although, Daraya's left horn is reversed).
** The Soleils are dead ringers for Gamzee both by their use of facial makeup and their status as conjoined twin lookalikes with yin/yang personalities, mirroring [[spoiler:sober]] Gamzee's [[spoiler:alternating between two distinct moods for every sentence]]. They could also be allegories for [[spoiler: the messiahs that Sober!Gamzee keeps mentioning (or perhaps they ''are'' those messiahs)]].
** While Equius does not have an artificial limb, like Nihkee does, he is known to create artificial robotic limbs (and even bodies) for others in need.
** Chahut and The Grand Highblood are both shown with RapunzelHair and splatters in all blood colors (though, GHB has the splatters in his background and not on himself). Naturally, for both, there is debate on whether or not lime is one of the colors.
** Skylla received this treatment ''before being revealed'', commonly being nicknamed "Cowgirl Vriska" due to her silhouette. However, she was revealed to not even be the same blood color. Even then, she and Diemen share little with their blood siblings.
** Speaking of silhouettes, another notable one is "Joey's trollsona"[[note]]directly to the left of Mallek[[/note]]. They turned out to be a Bronzeblood, Chixie, whose horns are curved downwards, making their silhouette look like the horns were part of the hairstyle.
** Kuprum is this to both Sollux and his ancestor. Like both characters, he has eyes of two different colours (Although his are purple and yellow as opposed to red and blue), and is said to be a powerful psychic. Folykl, meanwhile, has eyes similar to how Sollux's eyes looked [[spoiler: after he went blind]], implying that [[spoiler: she's also blind]]. ** Downplayed with Charun and Polypa. ** For a character that’s an Expy of one outside of ''Homestuck'', Galekh is a dead ringer for [[WesternAnimation/GravityFalls Dipper]], with his cosmic-sounding name, InsufferableGenius tendencies, and pine tree-like horns.
** Vikare is a Bronze troll with horns that look similar to those of Tavros, and also shares Tavros' dreams of some kind of flight. His hat and goggles also make him look similar to Horrus, leading to jokes that he's the child of Horuss and Tavros or Rufioh.
** In contrast to Elwurd's "Not Vriska," Ardata's profile says that she is "Probably Vriska." She also has a ThirdEye which may or may not give her an ability similar to Vriska's Vision Eightfold. ** Marvus is a purple-blooded troll who wears face paint similar to Gamzee's, and his outfit looks like that of someone who would work at a circus, fitting in with the clown theme of purple trolls.

* LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters - Thirty-six slots for trolls were revealed. However, some of them were actually two trolls posing as one silhouette, increasing the number even more:
