Kay, meanwhile, is a scientist (more specifically a biologist, and, fittingly, he is quite the AnimalLover), and has more of an optimistic and intellectual outlook on things, and he tends to be the more emotionally vulnerable of the pair.

Kay, while inhabiting her body, suddenly starts feeling abdominal pain which she deduces to be an effect of her period, adding that due to the days being shorter on Source it's been difficult for her to keep track of her menstrual cycle.
