Thanks to the character's popularity, she has appeared in various adaptations. In addition to ''Batman: The Animated Series'', she has also been featured in ''WesternAnimation/TheBatman'', ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheBraveAndTheBold'', and was the BigBad of the short-lived ''Series/BirdsOfPrey2002''. She was also one of the main characters in the ''WesternAnimation/BatmanAssaultOnArkham'' film. She's a major character in the ''VideoGame/BatmanArkhamSeries'', and is playable in ''VideoGame/BatmanArkhamKnight''. She appears in the Franchise/DCExtendedUniverse films ''Film/{{Suicide Squad|2016}}'', ''Film/{{Birds of Prey|2020}}'' and ''Film/TheSuicideSquad''[[note]]She's also mentioned as having died in the BadFuture in ''Film/ZackSnydersJusticeLeague''.[[/note]], played by Australian actress Creator/MargotRobbie, and she's set to appear in the sequel to 2019's ''Film/{{Joker|2019}}'', ''Joker: Folie à Deux'', played by no less than Music/LadyGaga. He insisted they would never lead to anything more - until they did, with his 3 to 6 volume origin story ''ComicBook/{{Harleen}}'' published under DC's Black Label starting in 2019.

* RingOfPower: During the events of ''Harley's Little Black Book'', she got her hands on a merged red and black lantern ring. She was also drafted into the Sinestro corps for a bit.

* AbhorrentAdmirer: To ComicBook/{{Batwoman}} when the two work together during the "Verdict" arc of Harley's fourth solo series. Harley is utterly smitten with Batwoman, and while Batwoman never outright shuts Harley down about it, she's clearly not interested in anything beyond their work. Given Harley's past and that she was still acting annoying in the present, it's a fair call.

Dr. Harleen Quinzel was once one of Arkham Asylum's brightest young talents. Fresh-out-of-college, and against the warnings of her peers, she naively became convinced that she could cure the Joker of his madness. As Joker's doctor, she tried -- like so many others before her -- to restore the psychotic killer to sanity. Instead, not only did she fail, he corrupted her to the point that not only did she herself go insane, she actually ''fell in love with him''.
