Ferdinand Kerimov, aka Mr. K, is an Azerbaijani immigrant, and a suspected terrorist, who vanishes weeks before the events of the game, a pawn in the battle between the IAA and the FIB.

* AmbiguouslyChristian: Despite coming from a Muslim majority country, Mr. K wears a crucifix around his neck during his torture scene. While his faith goes unmentioned, he is implied to be an ''Eastern'' Christian.[[note]]Since the only Christian nation his country happens to be neighboring is Armenia, where predominantly the population is Oriental Orthodox or belong to Armenian Apostolic Church. So thus it's possibly Mr. K is likely Oriental Orthodox but yet again they are a minority of ''Western'' (not Eastern) Catholics in the country as well, so there other probably that K could be Western Catholic too.[[/note]]

Agent 14 on the other hand, simply hires you, shows gratitude for your services and is even happy when there are no causalities among the crew. Also despite being a loose end, Agent 14 never tries to kill you, he just retains you as a hired gun and even defends you against his superior during the doomsday heist.

* GoodCounterpart: "Good" is a relative term in this case, but Agent 14 is a chummy and trustworthy (if cocky) employer who always pays well for the player's services, which puts him on the opposite side of the spectrum from one of the main game's antagonists, scumbag extraordinaire Steve Haines. The two work for rival agencies (Haines for the FIB, and 14 for the IAA), and while Haines claims that the IAA are a greater threat to world peace, he's hardly reliable on that score; Online suggests that the opposite is true.
