* WomanInBlack: when she is out in public, she dresses exclusively in black as a show of mourning for traditional values

* BigBadassWolf: had one of these that fought alongside her. Its spirit accompanies her in the afterlife (its also on the Imperial flag).

* Foil: to Michael. Both are devoted older brothers, both lost their parents at a young age, both assembled a group of TrueCompanions around themselves. Michael wonders if he can really blame Quirian for the actions he's taken, and speculates that in his place he would exactly the same.
