It got ridiculous in 99 onward where for no apprent reason they made it ''his KO cry.'' You will hear this especially in 2002 and ''Unlimited Match'', where he groans this practically ''every time you hit him''.

Later games (KOF series notwithstanding) put the psychopathy front and center, making Yamazaki into the nutter we all know and love, which puts into perspective how TropesAreNotBad.
