He is the younger brother of Jas, but unbeknownst to him, Jas was the one behind the plot of Machine City trying to organize the whole universe into nothingness. Vam was trying to prevent this process by giving robots hearts and minds in Machine City. When Vam is defeated by the party, Jas appears and throws Vam into a wormhole.
