A gladiator from Atlantis (circa 110 BC). He fights using Capoeira, and was named after the trident that replaced the hand he lost during a fight with a shark. He represented Atlantis and its people in a battle against the Romans, and had he won, Atlantis would have received a share of land alongside the Romans. Due to a Roman gladiator's treachery, Trident was crushed underneath a falling stone pillar before he could strike the winning blow; the people of Atlantis were forever banished to live underwater because of his loss.

A pirate trained in the art of Kajukenbo from 1566 A.D. Sophia De Medici was a member of the infamous Italian family, but she eventually renounced her name and status when she became a pirate, going only by the name "Riptide". When pirate/crime boss Hannibal killed her while protecting some buried treasure, he discovered who she was and destroyed the entire De Medici family through his criminal organizations, which resulted in the destruction of works by Leonardo [=DaVinci=] that could have resulted in a future renaissance.
* If she had survived, Riptide would have not only protected her family to ensure that future renaissance, but she would have also formed a powerful organization to protect the sea from the threats of piracy, illegal hunting of sea animals, and pollution.

An Egyptian pharaoh from 151 BC who was trained in Hung-Gar Kung-Fu. Ramses was the last strong pharaoh of Egypt, and had he not been killed by an assassin who sent him into the Nile River--Ramses never learned how to swim--he could have fathered the son that would have been his successor ''and'' successfully prevented the downfall of Egypt via outside invasion. Ramses' murder led Egypt to be conquered by invaders such as Alexander the Great, damning humanity to a future without spirit and originality while rendering it devoid of many cultures.
* If Ramses III had survived, he would have not only eliminated those who threatened to usurp his rule, but would have also made sure to preserve many of the treasures and knowledge of his people so that mankind would be able to learn from them and ascend to higher knowledge in the future.

A voodoo priestess from 1802 A.D trained in both Hsing-I Kung-Fu and Tae Kwon Do. Kidnapped from her home and integrated into a village in Trinidad, Raven eventually won the hearts of the villagers through her unusual healing power, which revolved around an ancient artifact handed down through her family: an hourglass that allows for control of a small portion of time in exchange for part of the user's life. Raven eventually drew the ire of the village's aging high priest, who lured her into his tent and turned the hourglass against her, killing her and rejuvinating himself in the process.
* If Raven was returned to life, she would reverse the spell to drain the high priest of his power, draining him of his life and filling the hourglass to a perfect balance between good and evil. She would then hand it to the Eternal Champion, becoming his companion in order to continue their mission of keeping mankind safe.

* SnakesAreSexy: Deconstructed. For Raven's Cinakill, her snakeskin outfit reverts to a living, breathing snake. Whoops.

* FingerGun: The Dark Champion points this at Dawson during his Cinakill. You can guess the result.

A former police officer from the year 2030 A.D. Trained in Kenpo karate, Blade became a bounty hunter in his home country of Syria after being thrown off the police force for anger issues (he once beat a suspect to near death, and the suspect sued the police afterwards). At the time of his death, Blade was in deep pursuit of a mad scientist who had threatened to destroy the human race with a lethal virus. After finally trapping the scientist in an alley, Blade attempted to retrieve the virus. The situation ended up being a setup, as Blade and the scientist were hit with a stream of lasers (presumably fired by agents of Blade's own government), immediately killing both men--and causing the scientist to drop the vial containing the virus.
