* ItCanThink: Initially seeming like the ship Ziggy uses to conquer the universe, the ''Edens One'' turns out to have ArtificialIntelligence with a will of its own, [[HumansAreTheRealMonsters an unflattering opinion of humans]], and some [[KillAllHumans insidious designs]] for how to deal with them.

* SapientShip: The ''Edens One'' isn't just a ship, but an ArtificialIntelligence that's been puppeteering Ziggy the entire time.

The successor to the ''Edens Zero'', which was built to serve as its prototype. It is superior to the ''Zero'' in every way, and serves to ferry Demon King Ziggy and spread his will across the universe.

He's not the one responsible for building the server that drives the planet's robots insane, (that's treated as Ziggy's doing), but he still has influence over the robots' behavior, and is positioned as the main and final obstacle the heroes must overcome in the arc.

* DramaticIrony: After spending so much of his time despising robots, one escape attempt gone terribly awry forces him to adopt a robotic body.

* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: Arsenal cuts him in half at the waist with [[BladeBelowTheShoulder Grandee Wing]], but he just laughs it off and retaliates while musing on how becoming an O-Tech [[DidntNeedThoseAnyway lets him ignore things like this]]. This ends up contributing to his defeat, however, as [[BigDamnHeroes Laguna arrives]] and short-circuits him via hitting an exposed sparking wire in his severed torso with water.
* HateSink: He convinces Hermit that [[HumansAreBastards humans don't have hearts]] by being irredeemably evil, sadistic, manipulative, and fully responsible for robot genocide and poor Hermit's initial broken state. On top of that, he murdered Jinn and Kleene's parents and is the reason why Jinn is a cyborg and Kleene lost her emotions.

* LosingYourHead: By the end of his battle with Weisz, Müller's O-Tech body is blown to bits, leaving nothing but his head. He's somehow still able to survive, but can only crawl around pathetically with tiny, retractable arms where his ears used to be.

* TortureTechnician: He put Hermit through hell by dismantling her body for two years straight, and he cut off the limbs of a young Kris[=/=]Jinn as he forced Kleene to watch.
* VillainsWantMercy: After being reduced to a head with little arms attached to it, he doesn't hesitate to grovel before Hermit's feet and beg her to save him while crying. When she points out how many people begged the same thing from him, especially Jinn and Kleene, he tries to state that he didn't kill ''them'' and tells her that he understands that robots have feelings and HumansAreBastards. Hermit makes it clear she will never trust a word that comes out of his mouth again and tricks him into giving her his retina scan to shut down the satellite before punching him out.

* BeatThemAtTheirOwnGame: [[spoiler: He manages to defeat Weisz by using a hologram of his mother to get him to drop his guard and knock him out with Ether Bullets (though luckily Weisz survives thanks to his protection matrix). When Killer faces off against Hermit, Hermit uses the data from Weisz's fight to uses a hologram of her supposedly being defeated, only to appear behind Killer and land a MegatonPunch on him.]]
* BishonenLine: His upgraded model, Killer Mark II resembles a young man and is much less obviously mechanical in appearance. [[spoiler:Although the glimpse of "Human" Killer Shiki sees in a vision shows he really did use to look more like this, minus the scar on his face.]]
* TheBlank: His old body doesn't appear to possess any sort of facial features, though it's not clear if he's simply wearing mask or if he genuinely lacks a face. His upgraded model, however, has a human appearance.

* EverythingSensor: His mask/face functions as one.
* EvilCounterpart: Wizard confirms he's Hermit's counterpart to the Four Dark Stars.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: His Mark II version has four dots in his eyes, in place of regular pupils.
* InTheBack: Befitting his specialty of assassination, he favors attacking from behind. [[spoiler:He uses his sword in this fashion against Jaguar, actually piercing the beast-man, but was shocked when Jaguar simply reached behind and crushed him to death.]]

* RedBaron: He's known as the "Brain of Edens", putting him at odds with Hermit, the "Mind" (or, alternatively, the "Heart").

* AnAxeToGrind: His introductory scene shows him with a large axe on his back, though it disappears in all other scenes without him ever using it.
* BeastMan: The head of his Mark II model resembles a lion.

* LiterallyShatteredLives: For his defeat in the Lendard arc, [[spoiler:his body cracks and crumbles apart after Homura cuts through his seemingly invincible armor with her Kitsune Dancing Blades.]]

* TorsoWithAView: Jaguar tears a gaping hole in his side during their "[[CurbStompBattle battle]]" in the Nero 66 arc. However, Brigandine survives and gets rebuilt.

* OneWingAngel: His Battle Dress gives him the same level of power as Shiki's Overdrive after Wizard absorbs it from him. [[spoiler:However, it turns out to be a ClippedWingAngel form that's only 10% as strong as Shiki at maximum power, and Shiki runs him through with little effort from his remaining strength.]]

The Spear of Edens, a sorcerer android with incredible mastery over magic.

* {{Bishonen}}: He's built to resemble a handsome young man.
* EvilCounterpart: He's the Four Dark Stars counterpart to Witch.
* EyesAlwaysShut: He usually keeps his eyes closed, similar to how Witch normally covers most of her face. He does occasionally, however, open his eyes when casting magic.

* ManaDrain: One of his most devastating moves is "Drain Ether", which allows him to absorb the Ether of his opponent upon physical contact, simultaneously weakening his foe while strengthening himself and allowing him to quickly turn the tables on even a superior opponent. [[spoiler:It can even work on something as intense as Shiki's Overdrive state, though a key weakness is that he can only absorb as much Ether as his foe is putting out and he needs to consciously activate it. While he disabled Shiki even in Overdrive, he's blindsided when Shiki suddenly powers back up and takes him down in an instant, and he's further floored when Shiki reveals he was only using a ''tenth'' of his full power at first.]]
* MythologyGag: [[spoiler: The way he's defeated is similar to God Serena from ''Manga/FairyTail'' when he tried to take on Acnologia who effortlessly dispatched Serena in one hit.]]
* NoNonsenseNemesis: Unlike his peers, Wizard believes that the ''Edens Zero'' and its crew could grow to become a considerable threat if allowed to live. [[spoiler:When he fights Shiki on Lendard, Wizard's first move is a [[MasterOfIllusion psychological attack]] to get in close enough to strike his vulnerable opponent which only barely fails, and later when Shiki goes [[SuperMode Overdrive]] Wizard neutralizes it as soon as he can with [[ManaDrain Drain Ether]] before his foe can turn the tide with a decisive attack. Unfortunately for him, Shiki was just toying with him and wasn't even using his full strength in their battle. After hearing Wizard's beliefs, what happened with Ziggy and slight connection to Witch, Shiki takes him out in one blow to Wizard's shock and disbelief. His last action is to warn his fellow Dark Stars not to underestimate the Edens Zero crew.]]
* OneManArmy: He's capable of taking down dozens of fighter-sized battle drones all on his own, something that takes the Shining Stars by surprise, as they've never heard of any humanoid robot with that kind of power. Which makes it all the more shocking when he claims to be the weakest of the Dark Stars after [[spoiler:being beaten by Shiki.]]

* RobotWizard: Like Witch, he's a robot that manipulates his Ether in a manner similar to genuine magic.
* ShockAndAwe: He conjures lightning bolts with his "Divine Lightning" spell, which can destroy battle drones with ease.
* ThisCannotBe: [[spoiler: Thought he had Shiki at his mercy in their fight by draining his Ether and is utterly shocked when Shiki takes him out with ease. Shiki revealing he was only using a ''tenth'' of his power and actually ''holding back'' in preparation for his fight with Ziggy.]]

* EvilCounterpart: Clown, the "Death" of Edens, is this for Sister, "Life". While Sister is TheLadette with healing powers who saves lives and cures trauma, Clown is a SissyVillain whose powers are built around stealing life and causing MindRape.

* AmbiguouslyBrown: In Shiki's vision of Brigandine's memories, Brigandine looks like an ordinary human man with the same dark skin color as Valkyrie, but also a light shade of hair (Valkyrie's hair, which is rosy pink, is left white in uncolored images just like Brigandine's).

* NobleDemon: He's no less on board with killing all humans than the rest of the crew, but he's also the only one who treats his opponents with any respect, human or otherwise. He speaks highly of Valkyrie, his supposedly inferior counterpart, and doesn't devalue Homura's suitability as her successor until she fails to meet his expectations in battle, which gives way to [[WorthyOpponent admiration and acceptance]] when she finds a way to beat him.

* NotQuiteDead: He's seemingly destroyed by Jaguar in the Nero 66 arc before he can face the ''Edens Zero'' crew in person, but the TimeSkip reveals he was rebuilt as Brigandine Mark II.

* SuperToughness: His greatest asset is his virtually impenetrable defense, though that doesn't do him a lick of good against Jaguar, a foe with far greater physical strength. As Brigandine Mark II, he's [[TookALevelInBadass rebuilt with increased defenses]] that prevents Homura from dealing any damage to him, even when she's in [[SuperMode Overdrive]] with three years of training under her belt. As Homura discovers and exploits, however, Brigandine has to lower his defenses the instant he attacks. [[spoiler:While she takes great damage in the process, it's what let her takes him down.]]

* WorthyOpponent: He comes declares Homura to be a valiant warrior to her friends when they see her seemingly lying dead by his feet.

* HoistByHisOwnPetard: How he's ultimately beaten in the Lendard arc: [[spoiler:after trapping Sister in his nightmare world and nearly breaking her through MindRape, she musters enough mental strength to break free and dive into his own subconscious, where she uses her own MindRape tactics against him.]]

* RedBaron: He is the "Spear of Edens", named for being built to pierce Witch's "Shield".

* AchillesHeel: His body armor is weakest on the back of his head, which Rebecca takes advantage of in her attempt to beat him. The attack does a number on Clown, but unfortunately for Rebecca, it's not enough to finish him off.

* TheBeastmaster: He sics a large, ferocious canine on Sister out of nowhere to [[EatenAlive eat her alive]] during their confrontation at the Spa of Edens. Sister quickly figures out it's just a weapon [[MadeOfMagic made of Ether]] and not a real, living animal, so she destroys it with no remorse.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: He, as his name implies, usually behaves like a flamboyant clown, refusing to [[UnderestimatingBadassery take Rebecca seriously]], and seeming more interested in making a show for his literal captive audience. That being said, once he puts his [[OneWingedAngel Battle Dress]] on, he becomes a powerful MonsterClown who deals in [[MindRape breaking his opponents' minds]] through horrific and violent nightmares.
* BondVillainStupidity: Once Sister starts getting mauled by his monster dog, Clown assumes she's as good as dead and leaves her to her fate. The result: Sister breaks free, heals herself and Hermit (which also renders Killer's SuicideAttack on Hermit moot), and stops Clown [[NearVillainVictory the moment before he gets his hands on Etherion]].

* ClippedWingAngel: He morphs into a ghastly EldritchAbomination to work his nightmares on Sister in his mental dimension, but once Sister takes control of the nightmare, she instantly changes him back to his Battle Dress form and renders him totally helpless to her torture.

* ExpressiveMask: The eyes of Clown's mask widen and close whenever he needs them to. He also furrows the brow of his mask when making a SlasherSmile for Sister at one point, giving him a more chilling appearance.

* HoistByHisOwnPetard: How he's ultimately beaten in the Lendard arc: after trapping Sister in his nightmare world and nearly breaking her through MindRape, she musters enough mental strength to break free and dive into his own subconscious, where she uses her own MindRape tactics against him.
* HorrifyingTheHorror: He winds up on the receiving end of this when fighting Sister, who goes into full {{Dominatrix}} mode and puts him through every torture method in the book as he pathetically pleads for his life, all after he shapeshifts into an EldritchAbomination and gruesomely maims her in her nightmare.
* IAmNotLeftHanded: Just when Rebecca thinks she has him beaten, Clown reveals [[JustToyingWithThem he's been fooling around for their entire fight]]. He then activates his Battle Dress and immediately puts Rebecca out of commission.

* IHaveYouNowMyPretty: Clown goes about this when he traps Rebecca and Sister in his nightmare dimension to be {{Mind Rape}}d. Shiki manages to save Rebecca before Clown can make good on his threat, but Sister isn't so lucky, getting strung up in tentacles and subjected to grotesquely sexual violence.

* MindRape: He specializes in putting his enemies through horrific nightmares that would leave the average person with severe mental scarring, which he demonstrates on Sister by changing her into an EldritchAbomination and ripping her in half with {{Chest Burster}}s. Unfortunately for Clown, he [[HoistByHisOwnPetard winds up on the receiving end]] when Sister resists the nightmare mentally breaks him through a torture session inside his own illusion.

* NonNudeBathing: After he breaks into the ''Edens Zero'', Sister catches him soaking in the Spa of Eden in his full coat and mask.
* OneWingedAngel: His Battle Dress, "Nightmare Clown", turns him from a brightly-colored jester into a black, demonic MonsterClown that can spirit his victims away to a world of nightmares.

* TearsOfFear: PlayedForLaughs when Sister [[HorrifyingTheHorror turns his own mental-scarring tactics against him]] with a gauntlet of torture, reducing him to blubbering tears as he shrieks for mercy.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: Clown believes he's drawn the short straw when he's paired up against Rebecca in the Subdimension Program, concluding that her being the weakest of her team means she isn't strong at all, and thus spends the fight tooling with her instead. It's only after Rebecca goes into Overdrive and lands a serious blow against him that [[IAmNotLeftHanded he stops holding back]], capturing her within seconds.

* YourWorstNightmare: His most prominent power is the ability to send people to a subconscious world where he torments them with vivid nightmares, putting them through MindRape in the process. This is shown in full in Sister's nightmare, where Clown morphs into a TentacledTerror and subjects her to OrificeInvasion with ChestBurster parasites that [[HalfTheManHeUsedToBe tear her bottom half off]].

* ArmCannon: He has a gun within his right arm that fires Ether Bullets.
* TheBeastmaster: He summons a large, lion-like creature to attack Sister during their confrontation at the Spa of Edens.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: He, as his name implies, behaves like a clown during his battle Rebecca, refusing to [[UnderestimatingBadassery take her seriously]] and seemingly more interested in making a show for his literal captive audience. That being said, the moment he does take her seriously, [[spoiler:He transforms into [[SuperMode Nightmare Clown]] and effortless warps her away with Rebecca being unable to do anything to stop him.]]

* MindRape: He traps Sister inside an illusion where he tortures her and rips her body in half with CombatTentacles. Sister admits this should cause high mental damage [[spoiler:in anyone else, but not her. She quickly turns the tables on Clown and mentally breaks ''him'' by subjecting him to a torture session inside his own illusion.]]
* MonsterClown: He's a [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin clown]], and a pretty malicious one at that. [[spoiler:He looks the part too once he becomes Nightmare Clown.]]
* PoisonousPerson: He has the ability to turn water into deadly poison.
* SayItWithHearts: All of his speech bubbles end in them.
* ShoutOut: When he first engange Rebecca in combat, he starts talking like the battle messages from the ''Franchise/DragonQuest'' series.

* SissyVillain: In contrast to Sister, a NunTooHoly [[TheLadette Lad-ette]], Clown is an effeminate, male MonsterClown.

* TheBrute: He's the largest and most physically powerful of the Dark Stars. He also expresses dissatisfaction at the idea of needing to use tricks, telling Homura that he would much rather face her straight-on while the other Dark Stars drag their opponents into their own brands of trickery.
