* WhatTheHellHero: While his intentions were mostly pure, [[spoiler:saving Queen Mikoto from her death]] had caused Corrin to [[spoiler:choose Hoshido instead of uniting the nations]], which practically guarantees the deaths of [[spoiler:Xander and Elise]] unless Harisson does something drastic. And this isn't even accounting for [[spoiler:the civil war that's happening due to Queen Mikoto surviving her assassination attempt]]. Needless to say, Harrison has to eat a lot of things on his plate if he wants everything to go smoothly.

* CharacterDevelopment: Goes from a socially awkward kid who can't even hold a sword properly to an up and coming BadassBookworm.

Played straight when it turns out that [[spoiler:Xander didn't fully believe him either, which is the reason why he followed Garon's orders to kill him when he was 'outed' as a spy.]] And then there's [[FantasticRacism Takumi]].

* IOweYouMyLife: Loyal to Xander for saving him, to the point that he [[spoiler:Could not bear the thought of fighting against him when Corrin chose Hoshido]]

* SheepInSheepsClothing: Harrison is a nice and friendly young man who does what he can, in reality, he's...exactly as described. He has very little ulterior motives aside from saving the people he cares for and going home, which isn't something the more suspicious characters tend to believe.

* TheSmartGuy: After finding a book about ores and minerals in Nohr and connecting its information with his own knowledge as a science nerd, and then implementing this knowledge to create [[spoiler: guns for the villagers during the Hoshidan civil war]], Harrison carves his place into the story as this.

Xander due to rescuing him when he first stumbles into the Alternate world and even making him his retainer in training while actually training him in the sword. And Corrin due to [[spoiler:being the only one to defend him when he was about to be killed due to false charges.]]
