* AbortedArc: Since his movie was cancelled, all of his interactions with King Kai build up to nothing, and he died when Cell blew up the planet he was trapped in. * AdaptationalNiceGuy: He's still a murderous space pirate, but he's much friendlier than in canon. He's shown to care somewhat for King Kai and tried to keep him from feeling lonely, and he takes part when King Kai is taking bets on who will win between Goku and Vegeta.
* AdaptedOut: Considering his movie was canceled and his minions are never referenced or implied to be sealed in the planet with him, his four underlings from canon do not appear to exist in this version.

* CanonImmigrant: While Team Four Star have stated that the movies are not canon (besides Revenge of Cooler, which slots neatly into the three-year wait for the Androids, with Cooler himself getting a load of references), Bojack is present and audible inside of King Kai's planet long before he'd be properly introduced. This was originally buildup to his escape after Cell blew the planet up, but his movie's cancellation has completely changed what happened afterwards.
* CatchPhrase: DBZA plays the fact that he is a pirate to the hilt.

* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: In the video announcing ''DBZA''’s cancellation, Lanipator states that Bojack was most likely killed when Semi-Perfect Cell self-destructed on King Kai's planet. * OutOfFocus: In spite of speaking during a number of the scenes set on King Kai's planet, Bojack hasn't been heard from since [=Vegeta3986=] left the series, and with the adaption of his movie being cancelled, it's unlikely he'll ever return; it can therefore be assumed that [[DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation he was killed when Semi-Perfect Cell self-destructed on King Kai's planet]]. While it was initially confirmed by Lanipator in the "DBZA is Over" video, he would make his first proper appearance in ''HFIL'' Episode 9, who is said to have been residing in another HFIL separate from the one the series has focused on. [=KaiserNeko=] would also disprove Lani's previous explanation, stating that he did not perish in the explosion that destroyed King Kai's planet.

* SealedEvilInACan: Canonically, Bojack was sealed away inside a star in an unknown location, but here, he's explicitly inside King Kai's planet. Jury is out on how he escaped the destruction of King Kai's planet and ended up in ''HFIL'' in the abridged canon.
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: He may have been stronger and more durable than second form Cell, but Cell only survived his self destruction due to his regeneration. Because Bojack did not have that, he did not survive, or at least didn't die this way in the ''Abridged'' canon.

* VocalEvolution: His voice between the Episode 25 and the ''Broly Abridged'' movie is quite different due to a 5 years span for the voice acting.

Said ego means he can't ''physically'' bring himself to call Goku "Goku," and the Goku side of his voice doesn't say the word "fuck."

* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: In the alternate take of the [[BodyHorror "Left Buuhind"]] skit, his mouth forms on Buu's neck instead of the Doordash driver's. He mostly just finds the experience weird and takes time to playfully joke around with Gohan, getting reabsorbed because Super Buu clearly thinks he's not reacting properly.

* InspectorJavert: In ''Buu Bits'', she sees The Great Saiyaman as a menace to her father's city, despite said superhero saving people, beating up thugs, and even prevented a plane crash being contrary to him being said menace, which isn't too dissimilar to J.
