Crafty and Messi quickly realize that they can't make Duke leave, with Messi imagining that he'd try to eat them if they tried. To illustrate her point, Duke suddenly remarks that Messibelle would make for a tasty jelly for toast, eyeing her with hungry intent. Thankfully, Crafty has Duke sit off-camera until he can think of a job for him before he does anything.

This comes to a head in "Crawling in My Legendary Skin" when he and Scout absolutely wreck the ''Overwatch'' Trick-Or-Treaters.
