* EnlightenmentSuperpowers: Like Anti-Mage, her powers came from rigorous monastic training. She can still use Blink like him, but she's...not great at the whole meditating thing.

* NiceGirl: As much as the setting and her upbringing allows, at least. Unlike her mentor, Wei is much less uptight, more openly friendly (except with evil characters and, for obvious reasons, mages), and empathetic; she even sympathizes with Viper, of all people, due to his background of being enslaved by a mage.

Also, unlike him, she can talk like a normal person.

* WellDoneDaughterGirl: Part of her motivation for fighting is to make her adopted father, Anti-Mage, proud of her. On that note, she still asserts that Anti-Mage lets her make her own choices and respects her (once having claimed that she would have survived without his help anyway, which is not something she believes anymore after having grown up).
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Just like Anti-Mage, though she's a bit less extreme about it since she didn't have same dramatic sort of past experience as Anti-Mage did with magic. Nonetheless, she shares in his purpose and truly believes it to be well-intentioned, while insisting that he isn't controlling her in any way so that she joined his purpose of her own accord.

->Voiced by: Jack Fisher

Long before becoming the Invoker, Carl was a young student at an ancient magical academy. Despite being its star pupil, he dreamt of a future in which he was more, and free to become his own master and wield his powers as he alone saw fit. After stealing a dangerous time travel spell from the headmaster's archives, the younger Carl travelled forward to the moment of his greatest triumph, replacing his older self to prove that age is no obstacle to his greatness - but unknown to him, should he fail, it would result in the destruction of both his original timeline and the one he landed in.

The Blueheart Glacier is
a young student at an ancient magical academy. Despite being its star pupil, he dreamt conduit of a future in which he was more, and free to become his own master and wield his powers as he alone saw fit. After stealing a dangerous time travel spell magic from over all the headmaster's archives, world, and only the younger Carl travelled forward to strongest of mages can dare endure the moment of his greatest triumph, replacing his older self ordeals and trials to prove that age is no obstacle unlock its secrets. Those who attempt to his greatness - but unknown to him, should he fail, it would result in do so are instructed by the destruction ageless avatar of both his original timeline the glacier itself, who harbors only indifference toward mortal life in its duty to uphold the balance of the world, and trains its disciples to lead a lonely existence in pursuit of the one he landed in.same.

Added DiffLines:

* AFormYouAreComfortableWith: She takes the form of a wolf to communicate with the world.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Due to being an ageless magical entity, her morality is quite different from those of mortals due to being solely focused on her purpose. She brushes off Grimstroke's crimes against his people if they're on the same team, and Ancient Apparition gets no hostility from her.
* GeniusLoci: Like Sand King, the Conduit is a body used by a magical location with its own will - in this case, the Blueheart Glacier.
* AnIcePerson: While her abilities are the same as the normal Crystal Maiden, she states that she's the conduit of all ice magic in the world.
* NeverGivenAName: It's likely she doesn't care to have one, given her indifference toward mortals.
* SinkOrSwimMentor: The Conduit makes it clear that only the strongest can survive her trials, and many have died trying.
* TimeAbyss: The Blueheart Glacier has existed for ages, and its avatar has lasted for the same. She's explicitly described as "ageless" in the description of the Persona.

->Voiced by: Creator/LauraBailey

An orphan girl taken in by the Anti-Mage and raised as his apprentice, Wei spent years meditating and honing her abilities. Now, she is sent out for her final test to see if she is ready to face the mages of the world.
----
* BadassBookworm: She seems to enjoy reading, and is still just as capable in a fight as her mentor.
* BerserkButton: Her StopPokingMe quotes include a rant about how much she hates Blink Daggers, as she spent years training to teleport through force of will only to later learn that you can just buy the ability from a shop.
* DoesNotLikeMagic: She is the Anti-Mage's disciple, after all. It comes with the territory. Though unlike him, her distaste for magic isn't as intensely personal, so she can at least be civil toward some mage allies. This also leads to her having mixed feelings about Rylai (because she's nice) and Pugna (because he burns mages, but is also a mage that burns things).
* HappilyAdopted: Wei never knew her real family and was taken in by the Anti-Mage, though he believes she's better off without them and promised to tell her the whole story when the time comes. From her responses, it's clear that she and Anti-Mage are fairly tight-knit.
* WartsAndAll: This is her view of Anti-Mage; she acknowledges that he's consumed by his hatred of magic, but ultimately, he's a fundamentally well-intentioned person and she respects him for it.
* WellDoneDaughterGirl: Part of her motivation for fighting is to make her adopted father, Anti-Mage, proud of her.

----
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: The original voice lines for the Persona use mostly the same lines and brooding tone as his adult self, but Valve later released The Good Old Days voice pack that gives him a more cheerful and childlike personality befitting the Persona.
* ChildProdigy: This Persona shows that even as a kid, the Invoker was already a great mage.
* FutureMeScaresMe: One of his respawn lines has him noting that everyone seems to hate him and wondering if he grows up to be a jerk. As we know, he does.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Due to his failure to read the fine print on the spell he used to jump into a new timeline, Carl now has to either succeed in his older self's endeavors or else end up destroying both timelines entirely.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: As the Persona shows, the arrogant and solipsistic Invoker used to be quite cheery and friendly in his younger days.
