* NiceGuy: Easily one of the kindest of the five main characters in the series.

* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: His age has been confirmed to be 2542, officially making him the oldest member in the group. Being a vampire, he also looks a lot younger than he used to, because of his power loss.

* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: By a [[NobleDemon very loose definition of evil]], his fashion choice certainly fit with his previous titles such as "blood soaked" and "tyrant".

* ShipTease: Much of the game teases him with Fenrich and [[spoiler:Artina/Vulcanus]]. There also a little bit of him being teased with Fuka, moreso in the manga.

* SuperGullible: He'll believe lies told about his ''own motives and actions.'' He also thinks that Axel is a noble compatriot who died in the line of duty when he was entirely and openly hostile to them throughout every appearance. Why? Because Fenrich said so. DLC explains that as a Tyrant, he was so outrageously powerful that he never required a sense of suspicion, because even if someone directly tried to assassinate him from behind his back, he probably wouldn't even notice, let alone take injury.

* AnimalStereotypes: Dogs are loyal and wolves are fierce, while Fenrich is [[UndyingLoyalty fiercely loyal]].

* CatchPhrase: "All is for my Lord", "Ahou ka?"[[note]]"Are you stupid?", though there is no set catchphrase in the actual dub.[[/note]], "I'll kill you!", "X is one of my Lord Valvatorez's many formidable powers."

* FurAgainstFang: Averted. While he thinks of Valvatorez' belief as worthless, he firmly believes that his master is meant for greater things and is even willing to dirty his hands if it means that Valvatorez will be put into a good position.

* LittleBitBeastly: He lacks the animal ears though.

* NotSoStoic: Usually cool and collected in almost all circumstances, but he starts to lose it when [[spoiler:the moon is put in jeopardy; not only because it's his source of power as a werewolf, but also because it's the symbol of his promise to to Valvarorez]].

* ServileSnarker: His UndyingLoyalty to Valvatorez doesn't stop him from being a DeadpanSnarker, and he does take a few veiled cracks at his master every once in a while.

* ToxicFriendInfluence: He's constantly trying to get Valvatorez to break his vow to not drink blood anymore.

* CelibateHero: "Women are truly unnecessary for someone who is on the road to becoming a ruler."

* FriendlyNeighborhoodVampire: He’s rather cheery and good-willed, despite being a former tyrant.

* VegetarianVampire: He made a vow to never drink blood again.

* AmbiguouslyGay: He's most likely not ''really'' gay, but the girls in the party love their {{shipping goggles}} (including the generic units if the Androids' Val/Fen Slashfics are any indication) and Fenrich makes it all too easy for them with his devotion to Valvatorez, his jealousy over any perceived rivals, and refusal to actually deny it or even explain what he ''does'' want from Valvatorez. It's only with great reluctance that he explains why he follows Valvatorez in the first place, but smugly refuses to get into the specifics.

* CloningBlues: She wanted to be the real daughter.

* MythologyGag: For her final attack, Fuka summons BonusBoss Pringer X.

* ImpliedLoveInterest: One to Valvatorez. However, despite the WillTheyOrWontThey they receive in the game and other appearances in media, it doesn't seem that anything becomes of their relationship.

* PeekABangs: When he was still a Tyrant, his bangs went over his left eye.

* BladeOnAStick: Besides swords, his other main proficiency is spears. Appropriate, considering the association vampires often have with UsefulNotes/VladTheImpaler.

* WhipItGood: Uses a whip made out of feathers in her second unique special attack.

* WithCatLikeTread: When sneaking [[spoiler:into the Information Bureau in her Prinny disguise]], she provides her own sneaking noises. [[spoiler:The game even refers to her as "Suspicious Prinny''.]] [[HilariousInHindsight Funny]], considering that [[VideoGame/DisgaeaHourOfDarkness her superior did the same thing.]]

* NoPronunciationGuide: Pronounced "Neh-mo" in Japan while pronounced "Nee-mo" in English.

* AsskickingEqualsAuthority: In the Netherworld, this is how someone gets the title of President, which is stated to be equivalent to the title of Overlord. [[spoiler:Eventually loses it after being defeated by Valvatorez. Axel takes the title, but when he eventually loses it, he's expunged from the Netherworld records.]]

* EverythingsBetterWithPenguins: Due to the shortage of Prinny skins, instead of becoming a full Prinny, Fuka's given a cute Prinny hat and jacket to wear.

* ExpectingSomeoneTaller: When Minitros hires him to [[spoiler:kill Valvatorez]] in Tyrant Valvatorez mode, the first thing he does is comment that the [[TheRedBaron Moonlight Fang]] is a bit skinnier than he imagined.

* MsFanservice: Unlike when she was a nun, she dresses quite provocatively.

* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: Helping [[spoiler:the enemy soldier Nemo]] when she was human not only caused her death, but her name would be forever reviled as a blackhearted traitor. Her death is the root cause of much of the plot and current crisis in the game. Valvatorez lost his power, which resulted in Hugo becoming president with the Corrupterment deteriorating while [[spoiler:Nemo goes off the deep end after her death and starts plotting the destruction of both Earth and the Netherworld]].

* InsaneTrollLogic: He understands The PowerOfFriendship and PowerOfTrust are sources of strength for humans and as a Tyrant, he feels making use of that would make him more frightening. Really, loyalty and similar things generally make something ''less'' scary.
** Potential FridgeBrilliance and FridgeHorror to that when one considers that those power sources actually DO make him a lot more powerful and in fact are a possible explanation as to why he's so powerful despite his de-power. His insane power as a Tyrant was the prime reason he was considered such a terrifying boogeyman figure in the first place.
** By [[VideoGame/Disgaea3AbsenceOfJustice certain demonic standards]], a demon that uses the powers of trust and friendship would be incredibly badass. That, and people ARE afraid of things that are familiar to them, [[UncannyValley but not quite]].

* AnAxeToGrind: He has proficiency in axes as well as fists.

* AnAxeToGrind: Her primary weapon specialization. Her starting weapon of a baseball bat is also treated as an ax for gameplay purposes.

* TomboyishBaseballCap: Wears a Prinny hat and happens to wield an [[AnAxeToGrind axe]] in battle.
