* ForkFencing: His opening scene in ''[=DOA5=]'' features him and Brad getting into a duel over the last piece of dinner, escalating from chopsticks to straight-up martial arts in a scene that was almost certainly influenced by ''WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda''.

* AchillesHeel: Despite being one of the most powerful characters in the series bar none, Alpha-152 ''does'' have a couple a couple of glaringly-major weaknesses. First, many of her completed strings leave her locked in a state of suspended animation, meaning she has ''terrible'' recovery time on them. This forces her to be very careful when committing to said strings, because if she goes all in and fails she's left wide open for retaliation. Secondly, her defensive options are very bad, as her counters merely teleport her to a new location rather than actually dealing daamge to her opponents. This will happen ''a lot'' the instant she loses her momentum, forcing her to wait until she can get an opportunity to strike again and requiring very quick reaction time on the player's part once they notice they've successfully landed one of her counters.

* TheMole: [[spoiler: It turns out she's been on Helena's side the whole time, acting as her informant within MIST.]]

* VillainProtagonist: In ''4''. [[spoiler:She confronts Hayate at DOATEC and he confirms she was the one who gave him amnesia, and thus, by implication, was a member of Project Epsilon]].
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: She is seemingly crushed to death by falling debris at the end of ''5'', but it's left ambiguous. Come ''6'', Lisa is alive and well, although she did suffer injuries from the incident and had to undergo rehabilitation to heal. [[spoiler: She is also revealed to be TheMole for Helena all the way back since the story of ''2'', having never been on Donovan's side at all.]]

* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's a sweet young lady who rivals Kasumi in terms of a kind heart, but do ''not'' get on her bad side by patronizing her, disrespecting her, or [[spoiler: keeping her in the dark about things, as Helena soon learned,]] or she will beat you down to kingdom ''come.''

* ButNotTooForeign: [[spoiler:She and Helena have the same father, making her half-Japanese and half-Caucasian.]] Kokoro isn't aware of this herself [[spoiler: until the events of DOA6.]]

* OddFriendship: With ''Zack'', of all people. His inexplicable cameo in her ''[=DOA4=]'' ending has yet to be addressed, but according to ''[=DOA5=]'' he's known her for ten years. [[spoiler: They even end up sparring in ''[=DOA6=]'' in preparation of the upcoming tournament, to which Kokoro is grateful to him for.]]

* UnknownRelative: Though not unknown to the audience. [[spoiler:In ''[=DOA6=]'', [=NiCO=] hands Kokoro a childhood picture of herself and Helena as children alongside an adult man, mystifying Kokoro and then angry thereafter when NiCO begins to speak of Miyako, Kokoro's mother. She later confronts Helena on this matter, who reluctantly informs her that to Kokoro's horror, her father is Fame Douglas, the man behind DOATEC's nefarious schemes in the past, making Helena her half-sister. Angered, she demands to find her mother and hear the truth out of her lips herself, but Helena interferes before she can set foot, and the two sisters engage in battle. Kokoro is victorious, and feeling betrayed, she leaves Helena behind, who wistfully begs her to stay, being the only family member Helena has left in this world. Kokoro looks back grimly, and it is not clear if two have reconciled or not.]]

->She once again serves as the last boss in the story mode of ''5'', however, [[spoiler:due to Ryu Hayabusa's involvement, Alpha gains the ability to shapeshift into him, as well as Ayane and Hayate after fighting them. In the end, she's defeated once and for all by Kasumi.]]

* AlternateCompanyEquivalent: Can be seen as one to ''VideoGame/VirtuaFighter'''s Dural; both the product of a shadowy organization's experiments to create the perfect SuperSoldier, both based on the kidnapping of a female ninja, both have BarbieDollAnatomy, speak in VaderBreath, act as the FinalBoss, DarkActionGirl...it's really easier to list how they're different. Whereas Alpha seems to be made of energy or some kind of transluscent substance and is a GlassCannon gameplay wise, Dural is a ChromeChampion and likely weighs a ton. Alpha also isn't bald.

* SNKBoss: Alpha 152 is easily the series' fastest character, in terms of movement, attack speed, and reaction time. The same is true in regard to her attack ''power'', as even her single strikes can deal 1/3 dmg. or higher on a regular hit, and almost 1/2 dmg. on a counter hit. She teleports constantly and can even teleport ''[[TheComputerIsACheatingBastard as she's being hit]]'' to escape combos. All of which makes it infuriatingly difficult for the opponent to even find an opening against her.

* GuestFighter: Kind of. Nicole herself is not a character that appeared in any ''Halo'' media but her armor is the same as the Master Chief's -- and since that's pretty much all we ever see of him, the armor itself is sort of the GuestFighter. Word of both Bungie and [[Creator/ThreeFourThreeIndustries 343i]] is that she's based on a canon Spartan, but no further details have been revealed so far.

* CharacterizationMarchesOn: In ''[=DOA4=]'' Eliot seemed like a fairly confident fighter, from his quotes no other combatant inspired doubt, or fear on him. Privately, however, he has concerns if he's worthy of his apprenticeship with Gen Fu. In ''Dimensions'' Eliot is seen before the events of ''[=DOA4=]'', where he is depicted as very polite, but very unsure of his abilities. Ayane's [[ArmorPiercingSlap talk]] with him seems to snap him out of it. By the end of ''[=DOA5=]'' story mode, he becomes more confident in his fighting skills, and Gen Fu proclaims he'll be taking Eliot's training to the next level.
