[[folder: Villains]]

!!Stain
* {{Irony}}: Due to Hawks' defeat of him, Hawks finally has the position and the connections to clean up the corrupt Heroics industry that Stain despised.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: He only shows up for one chapter, but the impact of his fight with the Hosu Quartet and Hawks ends up flipping many status quos on their heads.
* SpannerInTheWorks: Stain unintentionally upends many plans.
* VillainRespect: Genuinely respects Hawks for his heroism and his protectiveness of the Yuuei students. He specifically calls Hawks, All Might and Izuku true heroes in his TheReasonYouSuckSpeech.

!! League of Villains

!! All for One/Midoriya Hisashi nee Ishikawa
* BigBadFriend: Hisashi Midoriya nee Ishikawa. Absentee husband and father and major supervillain.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Hisashi adores his family and would do anything to help them or put things in their favor.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Even Hisashi/All for One thought Endeavor was bad news and wanted to take him down on his wife’s behalf.
* GlorifiedSpermDonor: Considering his absence for most of Izuku’s life and mostly negative impact, Hisashi is largely seen as one. It's even Izuku's pet name for him!
* MarriedToTheJob: Hisashi is too busy with his job to see his wife and child much to Inko’s frustration. She’s angry when she finds out said job is supervillainy.
* MoralMyopia: All for One didn't give two shits about Kiyome and Sora until he found out that they were his in-laws. Then he become violently protective of them.
* MysteriousWatcher: All for One watches over his family, the Aery and Mighty Tower in order to track their movements and actions at all times. Thankfully for the latter two, he decided not go after them since they help forward the goals of All for One's family.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: All Hisashi has been doing is watching the various Hero factions from the shadows.
* PercussivePickpocket: Hisashi stole Inko’s wallet to get her number when she crashed into him. He manages to get a date out of it.
* RelativeButton: if someone lays their hands on AFO’s Family or in-laws, then said someone is in very grave trouble.
* StalkerWithACrush: PlayedForDrama with Hisashi who has the Midoriya house bugged so he can watch his beloved wife’s movements at all times.
* StalkerWithoutACrush: Hisashi’s personal motive for having Hawks’ agency watched so he could learn more about his nephew.
* TameHisAnger: Hisashi buries his Instinctive anger toward the Commission and the Takashiro parents because he knows if he acts on his anger without thinking he will do something stupid and impulsive like he did with All Might. Hisashi decides to forward his plans carefully and pay his naughty in-laws a visit....
* ThickerThanWater: Once Hisashi finds out that Hawks is his nephew due through his beloved Inko's family, he does what he can to find out everything to find out about Hawks and push things into Hawks' favor.

!! Dabi/Todoroki Touya
* AllMenArePerverts: Dabi hopes to get laid by Hawks despite that it would expose the League of Villains' activity.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Dabi appreciates that despite losing her career trying to help him and his family, Inko still tried again to help. He's happy that his siblings and his mother are finally free from Endeavor.
* BigBrotherInstinct: Dabi still views himself as needing to protect his siblings no matter what. He may be a villain now, Fuyumi may be dating a Top Ten hero and Shoto may be a proto-hero, but he's still protective of them
* CelebrityCrush: Dabi gains one on Hawks for one-uping his old man Endeavor and for being a true hero like Stain preaches about.
* ChekhovsGunman: Touya Todoroki. His siblings mourn him and think on his passing. Whatever happened to him was so traumatizing that Rei blocked it out. His abuse at Endeavor's hands caused Inko to turn on Endeavor and got her ousted when she attempted to report it. His role as Dabi and role as GreekChorus to Endeavor's fall from number two hints at bigger things to come.
* {{Glamour}}: Dabi uses an image inductor to investigate I-Island on behalf of the League of Villains without the problems of his rather distinct true appearance
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Dabi is ecstatic that his family is finally protected and free from Endeavor. That being said, [[spoiler: Dabi decides to solidifies his loyalty to the League to protect his family in the rather justified fear that Hawks would fail to protect them.]]
* FakingTheDead: With their obvious grief and clear mourning of Touya, its clear that the Todoroki siblings believe their elder brother is dead. Dabi says otherwise.
* GreekChorus: Dabi acts as outside commentor to Hawks' rise in the ranks and Endeavor's subsequent fall.
* TheLostLenore: Touya’s apparent death destroyed his siblings. None of them are over his death and when their fortunes turn, they wish he was still alive for him to see it.
* {{Patricide}}: One of Dabi’s long term goals.
* ProperlyParanoid: Dabi is convinced that Hawks wouldn’t be able to fully protect Dabi’s family. While cynical, he is right.
* StalkerWithoutACrush: Dabi likes to read the intelligence reports on the Midoriyas out of gratitude toward Inko's efforts to save his family from Endeavor's abuse. He likes to watch over her and her family.
* ThatManIsDead: Dabi never calls himself Touya. As far as he's concerned, Touya died in the quirk accident, there's only Dabi now.
* VillainRespect: Dabi appreciates that Hawks, who has his hero Stain's approval, has finally one-upped Endeavor.
* TheWatcher: Dabi’s self-appointed role in the League of Villains is to catalog all the surveillance for the various hero agencies the League has spies or cameras on. He doesn’t act at all until he’s given a reason to.

!!Shiragaki Tomura
* AndThenWhat: Shiragaki finds out Sensei's true identity and his secret familial connections. And he has no idea what he's actually going to do with that information.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: Tomura is fed up that he doesn't know what’s going on and attempts to change that.
* SpottingTheThread: When Tomura starts looking over the League’s intelligence reports, he quickly realizes something is amiss. Tomura realizes All for One has been watching the Midoriya family as long as Izuku been alive and the dad is out of the picture with no picture in his profile.

[[folder: The Midoriya Family]]
!!Tropes that apply to whole family
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: The Midoriyas never knew what happened to Kiyome and Sora, didn’t knew Sora was Hawks nor that they were trapped in debt slavery by the Commission. None of that was an accident.

!! Midoriya Inko
* BadassBureaucrat: Inko was a Management Department student who shaped Endeavor’s agency into the powerhouse it is. While she’s an average if intelligent civilian woman, she bravely stood up to Endeavor, a taller and more powerful Pro-Hero and gives a painful groin attack. Just seeing her fills Endeavor with dread. When Endeavor has the Heroic Commission ruin her career, she doesn't let it get her down. She goes to law school and becomes a lawyer specializing in Heroic Law!
* BiTheWay: Considering Inko dated Aoi Monoma but married Hisashi Ishikawa, she is definitely bisexual
* FormerTeenRebel: Inko used to be a big troublemaker alongside Tomoko Hatsume. She would use her silver tongue to sweet-talk her way out of trouble.
* GuileHero: Inko uses her wits, her specialization in Hero Law and political connections to bring men like Endeavor to their knees in spite of having a weak quirk.
* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: Inko turns her back on Endeavor, who was her best friend and boss for his abuse of his family.
* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: Inko attempted to help a battered wife and an abused child by reporting their abuser’s crime. It was covered up by the Heroics Commission to avoid the scandal of a major hero abusing his family. Inko is discredited and fired for her heroism.
* NotInThisForYourRevolution: Inko. She isn’t trying to topple the Heroic Commission or hero industry out of an ideology like Stain or AFO. She’s there to stop innocent people from being abused and exploited and doesn’t care what she has to do to stop it.
* NotSoDifferent: Despite being on different ends of the morality spectrums, Inko is much more similar than AFO realized as she also wants to take down the Heroics System.
* ParentsAsPeople: While Inko is a good mother considering the circumstances, it doesn’t mean that she wasn’t neglectful. Inko was so focused on maintaining a home in spite of her career and her husband’s absence that she completely missed that Izuku was being ostracized by his school and abused by his former friend. She tried so hard to ignore the suicide rates of Quirkless people that she missed her son nearly being bullied into suicide. Which was barely avoided due to All Might’s intervention
* QuicklyDemotedWoman: Inko was a founding member of Endeavor’s agency and pivotal in how it runs. She was fired and erased from their history when she tried reporting Endeavor over his abuse of his family.
* SharedFamilyQuirks: Inko is attracted to intelligent but powerful people, considering her past relationship with Aoi Monoma and her marriage to Hisashi Ishikawa. Her son has similar tastes as he considers dating Aoi's son
* {{Unperson}}: Inko was essentially written out of the Endeavor agency history despite being a founding and vital member. Endeavor unpersoned her in revenge for trying to call social services to protect the wife and son he was abusing. It was complete enough that Hawks, who'd been an Endeavor fanboy, had no clue about Inko being a former member of the agency.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: Inko and Endeavor used to be friends as a management and hero students that frequently get caught together in antics. Their friendship fell apart when Inko caught Endeavor’s abuse of his family.
* WhosLaughingNow: Inko attempted to report Endeavor for his abuse of his family only to lose her career for her troubles. 18 years later, accompanied with All Might and Hawks, Inko’s gentle smile sends great fear to Endeavor’s heart

!! Midoriya Kiyome nèe Takashiro
* AlmightyMom: Kiyome can intimidate an entire agency of trained pro-heroes and vigilantes just by walking up to them. Kiyome sometimes even manages to cow the Commission in order to protect her son. Everyone in the Aery respects and fears her.
* AnimalMotifs: Kiyome has strong bird of prey motifs with her watchful golden eyes and tendency to ambush people.
* {{Foil}}: Kiyome Takashiro, Hawks' mother is one to Rei Todoroki. They are both parents with powerful children and their agency was stripped from them by forces out of their control. They are separated from their families: Rei to being sold by her family to marry Endeavor and Kiyome because her family and in-laws disapproved of her marrying. Which prevents them from raising their children how they like, they constantly have to run interference to how their children were trained and are both abused as a result. But Rei’s [[SanitySlippage sanity was sapped]] by [[MaritalRapeLicense being forced to bear]] and protect four children by her [[DomesticAbuser abusive husband]]. While Kiyome only had one child out of a [[MarryForLove loving marriage]]. [[spoiler: Combined with Kiyome’s former training as a vigilante,]] Kiyome was better able to stand her ground.
* DefectorFromDecadence: Despite being pushed hard into the heroics industry, Kiyome was disgusted at the excess, showboating and lack of actual altruism and wanted nothing to do with it. Having her son forced into pro heroing validated and enforced her opinion
* DeterminedWidow: Kiyome lost her husband due to undetected illness but she raises her son on her own despite what poverty and the Heroic Commission throw at her.
* {{Foil}}: Like Stain, Kiyome was disillusioned to how corrupt and fake the heroics industry was and resorted to vigilantism to strike against it. Unlike Stain she never went to same extremes as him.
* GoodGirlsAvoidAbortion: Hawks mentions that Kiyome avoided her in-laws in fear that they would make her abort her son if they found out.
* GoodParents: Despite the circumstances, Kiyome is a good mother to Hawks and is willing to fight for him and be there for him
* HybridPower: Kiyome, in turn, got her quirk from her mother's wings and her father's hardening quirk.
* LivingLieDetector: Hawks and Kiyome's eyesight is sharp enough that they can immediately tell that Toshinori is lying that he was sent by All Might to check up on Izuku
* MamaBear: Hawks describes his mother thus: "He may be twenty-two years old, but he's still her fledgling."
* MasterOfUnlocking: Kiyome picks locks more often than she uses her own keys and she taught her son Hawks everything.
* NoiselessWalker: Kiyome walks up to Steps and the Hosu Quartet, completely unnoticed until she draws their attention. Izuku wonders if its bad that neither a pro-hero nor hero students noticed a civilian walk up to them.
* RetiredBadass: [[spoiler: Kiyome is an ex-vigilante! And from what we see of her the only retired part of her badassery is her vigilante career.]]
* StrongFamilyResemblance: Hawks looks like a male version of his mother Kiyome.
* StrugglingSingleMother: After Kiyome was widowed, she struggled to support her and her son. People didn't want to hire a single mother with a young child.

!! Midoriya Kei
Inko's brother, Kiyome's husband and Sora's father. Has been dead for a while

* DisappearedDad: Hawks' father, Kei Midoriya died when Hawks was three months old, only leaving behind two months' worth of rent.
* LifeWillKillYou: Kei Midoriya dies from an illness that was caught too late. Not due to [[spoiler: his wife's]] vigilantism, not through a villain attack. Just a disease and plain bad luck.
* TheLostLenore: The late Kei Midoriya is one to his wife Kiyome. They loved each other enough to elope together and his death had a profound impact on the lives of his parents, sister, wife and son. His death from a treatable illness caught too late left Kiyome with deep psychological scars and she still hasn’t emotionally recovered from his death.
* LongLostRelative: Is Inko's missing estranged brother and thus Izuku's maternal uncle.
* TheMasqueradeWillKillYourDatingLife: [[spoiler: Kei’s parents refused to let him date Kiyome in fear that Kiyome’s vigilantism would get him killed. He did it anyways.]]
* PosthumousCharacter: He's been long dead, but his death shaped the life and the actions of his wife and son, Kiyome and Sora.

!! Midoriya Izumi and Reo
The parents of Midoriya Inko and Kei. Izuku and Sora's grandparents

* IWantGrandkids: The Midoriyas would have been far more accepting of Kiyome had they known that she was pregnant with their first grandchild.
* NeverGotToSayGoodbye: Izumi and Reo became estranged from their son due to his marriage [[spoiler: to a vigilante.]] While they reconcile with their daughter-in-law and grandson, their son has been dead for two decades [[spoiler: due to a brain tumor]] without them ever knowing. That weighs on Inko and definitely weighs on them as well.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: The Todoroki family]]

!! Todoroki Rei
* AdultFear: Rei is not only being abused by a husband she didn’t want. [[spoiler: Her husband accidentally killed her eldest child in a training accident and shows no remorse for their child’s death.]] No wonder she snapped.
* TheGhost[=/=]PutOnABus: Rei hasn’t been since outside the one time Fuyumi visits her. Her abuse at Endeavor’s hands motivates the heroic characters around her.
* LivingMacGuffin: The abuse of Rei and the Todoroki children is the impetus for Inko’s falling out with Endeavor, her blacklisting from the Heroics Industry and the subsequent investigation and blackmail by Inko, Hawks and All Might of Endeavor.
* TraumaInducedAmnesia: Rei wonders what happened to her son, Touya and wonders why he hasn't come to visit her like the rest of his siblings. Rei also wonders why Fuyumi gets this look on her face when she asks about Touya.

!! Todoroki Fuyumi
* AggressiveSubmissive: Inverted. While Fuyumi is traditionally feminine in both demeanor and dress, she wears the figurative pants in the relationship.
* LipstickLesbian: Is traditionally feminine and returns Rumi's feelings.
* ParentalFavoritism: Played with. Fuyumi is one of Endeavor's "failure" children since she didn't have the fire-ice combo quirk that Endeavor sought. But considering she's his only daughter and because of her quirk, she's only child that Endeavor didn't physically abuse. That doesn't win any points with Fuyumi considering she had to watch her brothers and her mother be beaten
* PromotionToParent: It's telling that Shouto's older sister Fuyumi is Shouto's emergency contact, not his father.
* WillfullyWeak: Fuyumi has a Methane ice quirk which means she generates frozen natural gas! She has flammable and explosive ice meaning she's powerful in her own right. But she went along with her father's refusal to train her and become a school teacher

!! Todoroki Natsuo
* AmazonChaser: Natsuo asks Kazuho out after he finds out she "accidentally" kicked Endeavor in the face.
* BigBrotherInstinct: Natsuo is pretty happy that his little brother is finally making friends on his own, having an actual social life and has a chance to be rescued from their father.
* WillfullyWeak: Natsuo has a Dry ice quirk which means he generates ice so cold that it could cause frostbite on contact. But Endeavor saw him as a failure for not having a fire quirk and Natsuo remained a civilian.
* TheUnfavorite: Natsuo is one of Endeavor's "failure" children, him especially so since he has an ice quirk. When Endeavor didn't beat him, he would otherwise be neglected.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Politicians]]

!! Monoma Aoi
Neito Monoma's mother.
* {{Ambadassador}}: The now former Japanese ambassador to France, [[spoiler: Aoi takes down two decades of the Commission’s political corruption with the help of All Might, her old friend Inko and her bodyguard Louis over the course of one conversation.]]
* BiTheWay: while Aoi is Happily Married to her husband, she did once date Inko.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Aoi Monoma passed down her quirk and her blonde locks to her son and jumps at the chance to protect her son and rescue Hawks from indentured servitude.
* ILied: A heroic variant. Monoma Aoi never intended to keep her silence about the Commission's abuses and crimes even when Saito complies to their demands.
* JumpedAtTheCall: Aoi jumped at the chance to reunite with her old friend Inko and help her take down the corrupt Heroics Commission!
* MamaBear: Aoi resigns from her post as ambassador immediately and books it to Japan once she is warned that Neito is in danger from an unseen power.
* PairTheSmartOnes: Neito’s Maman always told him to seek intelligence over wealth or power in a partner. Considering that Aoi met her husband in an rather exclusive international university...
* ParentalTitleCharacterization: As both a sign of Monoma's French nature and his closeness to his parents is that he calls them "Maman" and "Papa.
* ProperlyParanoid: Monoma’s parents downplayed the true strength of Neito’s Quirk in the justified fear that people would try to kidnap their son into villainy. Given that Neito had attempted kidnappings on his connections alone, it’s a justified fear.
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: Monoma Aoi had an agreement with Saito Hana that they would stay out of their respective countries so they wouldn't be at each other's throats. [[spoiler: Aoi quickly abandons that in order to help Inko rescue Hawks from his debt slavery with the Commission.]]

!! Alec Satre
Neito Monoma's father. A French Member of the European Parliament
* TheGhost: He is frequently mentioned and still a very big part of his son and wife's lives, but is in Europe in the present and can't help with the plot.
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: Alec Sartre, Neito Monoma’s father, uses his Quirk Through Vision to spy on fellow [=MEPs=] and keep track of their actions. While technically illegal, Alec does it anyway to protect his constituents from his more corrupt co-workers.
* WhenYouComingHomeDad: Neito understands that his dad wouldn't be able to visit him in Japan considering his dad's new term as a member of European Parliament. But he still wishes his father could visit regardless.
* XRayVision: Alec Satre, Neito's father, can see through objects with his quirk Through Vision. He trained his quirk to see further and carefully look through other people's files whether the files is in someone else's office or he's before them in Parliament.

!!Kobayashi Shina
the Japanese Minister of Justice. The Commission are technically under her jurisdiction as much as the Commission likes to believe it isn't beholden to anyone. Kobayashi and the Commission frequently butt heads as she tries to reign them in.
* ChekhovsGunman: Kobayashi Shina is Aoi’s mentor and someone whom the Commission was trying to fool to hide their own corruption and abuses. [[spoiler: Aoi sends the video of the meeting with Saito Hana to her.]]
* InternalReformist: Kobayashi has butted heads with the Commission and is the means of the Heroics Industry’s reformation.
* TheMentor: Kobayashi Shina was Monoma Aoi’s political mentor and they still keep in touch.
* ObstructiveBureaucrat: The Minister of Justice Kobayashi Shina. Saito Hana really doesn’t want her getting involved as she tries to intervene on the Heroic Commissions’ plans on a regular basis. Had Kobayashi found out her suspicions of the Commission was right, she would wrecked their plans.

[[folder: Other]]

!!The Songstress
An old friend and info broker of Aoi's
* TheGhost: she is never seen. She warns the Monoma parents about the state of Japan and the importance of keeping their son’s powerful Quirk a secret.
* KnowledgeBroker: she works on keeping tabs on the criminal underworld in Japan and Europe.

!!Louis Argent
Monoma Aoi's bodyguard
* BrutalHonesty: the name of Louis Argent’s quirk and it is apt. Under the Quirk’s effects Saito Hana tells Kiyome that her parents accepted a massive bribe to stay silent, they saw Kiyome as a failure for her refusal to be a pro hero and let her and her son be enslaved.
* ChekhovsGunman: As an ambassador Aoi is allowed to bring a bodyguard for her own protection. What Saito painfully finds out that said bodyguard has an AoE Truth Serum Quirk.
* LivingMacGuffin: Louis Argent whose quirk Brutal Honesty is pivotal to the resolution of the Heroic Commission.
* TruthSerum: Louis Argent, Aoi’s bodyguard’s Quirk Brutal Honesty is an area of effect ability that compels people to the speak only the truth and volunteer any information. Saito Hana couldn’t stop telling the truth even when she wanted to.

!! Takashiro Parents
Takashiro Kiyome's parents and Sora's maternal grandparents

* AwfulTruth: [[spoiler: Kiyome’s parents knew the entire time what was happening to Kiyome and Sora. They knew and let it happen.]]
* ChekhovMIA: Despite the Midoriya parents reconciling with Kiyome and Sora, the Takashiro parents are suspiciously absent despite Hawks and Izuku’s family relation making the news. There’s a good reason why neither Kiyome nor they made the effort to contact each other.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Kiyome doesn’t want to become a pro hero so her parents can’t live off her wealth and fame like they wanted. [[spoiler: Let’s sell her and their grandson into slavery so they could become millionaires!]]
* {{Greed}}: The Takashiro parents wanted their daughter Kiyome to become a pro hero so they would live off her fame and wealth. When she refused they have no problem letting the Commission enslave her and their grandson in exchange for becoming millionaires.
* HateSink: The Takashiro parents are vile [[StageMom Stage Parents]] [[spoiler: who try to force their daughter to become a pro hero and let the Commission enslave her and their grandson when she refuses. This makes All for One's upcoming visit very satisfying.]]
* ParentalBetrayal: [[spoiler: The Takashiro parents knew that their daughter and grandson was being enslaved by the Commission and let it happen. In fact they helped the Commission hide the situation from the Midoriyas and take a massive bribe to make up for their failed investment of a daughter.]]
* StageMom: [[spoiler: Kiyome’s parents wanted their daughter to become a pro hero despite what their daughter actually wanted. Despite knowing that the Commission enslaved their daughter and grandson, they let them. They asked the Commission for a substantial bribe to keep their silence. Takashiro Himari thought that their daughter’s enslavement would make her useful and the ¥3,200,000,000 bribe a nice way to make up for their “bad investment.”]]
* VicariouslyAmbitious: The Takashiros wanted their daughter to use her powerful quirk to become a rich and famous pro hero. Woe betide her when Kiyome wanted to do something else with her life.

[[folder: Heroes]]

!! All Might/Yagi Toshinori
* AwakeningTheSleepingGiant: The Heroics Commission made the fatal mistake of thinking that All Might, the freaking Symbol of Peace would never find out about their various abuses of power and crimes.
* BystanderSyndrome: Toshinori knew there something wrong with how Endeavor treated his family, he wasn't ''blind''. Unfortunately Toshinori had too much going on to ever look into it.
* DisappointedInYou: All Might weaponizes his disappointment and disdain for the Commission's actions to browbeat and terrify Saito Hana to following all their demands to erase the debt they trapped Sora and Kiyome in and give Hawks a permanent hero license so they can never threaten Sora by revoking his ability to be a hero.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: Hawks calls Toshinori out for not thinking how One for All would effect Izuku nor giving him proper training.
* DumbassNoMore: Toshinori has grown to be much better teacher after getting help and examples from Hawks and the other heroes at the Aery. He actually uses his genius to better mentor Shouto in better uses of his quirk.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Toshinori is revolted that [[spoiler: Sora and Kiyome were betrayed by their own family just because Kiyome wanted to live her own life outside of their expectations.]]
* GeniusBruiser: Toshinori has a Bachelors and Masters in physics. His knowledge and understanding of physics enhance his applications of his SuperStrength and helps him mentor Shouto with different applications and techniques for Half Cold Half Hot.
* GoodCannotComprehendEvil: Toshinori doesn't understand why Endeavor doesn't try to not be an asshole.
--> '''Toshinori''': It's really not that hard to be nice to children.
* ItsAllMyFault: Toshinori blames himself for missing Endeavor's abuse of his family and that his rivalry with Endeavor becoming toxic. In All Might's defense, [[{{Understatement}} he was kinda distracted by All for One.]]
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Throughout the meeting with the head of the Heroics Commission, All Might is not smiling. In fact he is both disappointed and full of distain. Saito Hana is terrified and doesn’t feel safe the entire time the Symbol of Peace is looking down on her.
* PassingTheTorch: Since his time as All Might is coming to a close very soon, Toshinori publicly trains Hawks, now Number Two hero as his immediate successor as Number One hero. That way the public would be more accepting of Hawks as Number One and not panic when All Might retires.
* WarmUpBoss: Endeavor is revealed to be this to Inko. Now that he's neutralized Inko wants to take down the people enslaving her nephew, the Heroics Commission.

!Gran Torino/Sorahiko
* AngerBornOfWorry: Gran Torino attempts to kick Izuku in the face for running off in the middle of a Noumu attack. Hawks intervenes before Torino could land the hit.
* GrumpyOldMan: Gran Torino lives for spite.
* RevengeThroughCorruption: Sorahiko is rather gleeful that Toshinori accidentally got one over All for One and recruited Izuku, All for One’s son into being the successor of One for All. It’s the greatest and most heroic of revenge against Nana’s murderer.

!! Endeavor/ Todoroki Enji
Former #2, now #3 Hero

* AllForNothing: Endeavor went through deplorable lengths to surpass All Might which includes using his family as his stepping stone. It's all for naught, his negative qualities drop him to Number Three with his recklessness making it difficult to get Number Two making becoming Number One to be even more of pipe dream. [[spoiler: His treatment of his family is so horrible that it drives the other genuinely heroic characters like Hawks, All Might and Inko to intervene to save his family from him. So Endeavor no longer possesses his "perfect tool" Shouto and has to pay restitution to the family he neglected and abused. The more popular Hawks is being groomed to be All Might's immediate successor as Number One hero. ]] All his children hate and fear him. His reputation with the both the public and fellow Top Ten heroes is the toilet. Everything he worked as amounted to nothing.
* AlwaysSecondBest: Endeavor is smarting over the fact that he's now third best thanks to Hawks. His enmity with All Might is now partially transferred to Hawks.
* AssholeVictim: Endeavor essentially gets everything he ever worked for taken away from him. [[spoiler: He loses custody of his favorite child, has to set up a massive trust for the rest of his family and is blackmailed into staying away. If he acts out he will lose his hard-sought career.]] Considering that he's a vile child abuser and marital rapist, the readers end up cheering.
* BookDumb: Endeavor only has up to a high-school education and it shows in his poorly-thought out training of Shouto's quirk. Shouto's Quirk improves in leaps and bounds when Toshinori uses his university-education of physics to teach him. Shouto learned more in a few days with Toshinori than an entire decade with Endeavor.
-->'''Shouto''': Apparently having a high level knowledge of physics is more useful than practical experience with only fire.
* BrokenWinLossStreak: After years of being Number Two, Endeavor is kicked down to Number Three when Hawks overtakes him due to better public relations and better publicity due to the Stain incident.
* CloudcuckoolandersMinder: In his high school years, Endeavor was in charge of limiting his friends, Tomoko and Inko’s path of destruction.
* ControlFreak: Endeavor tries to control his "perfect creation" Shouto's life to the minute. Had not sending Shouto to a hero school would have potentially raise suspicion, Endeavor wouldn't have. When Shouto gets out of his sphere of influence, he attempts to tell Hawks what he is and isn't allowed to train Shouto in.
* CreateYourOwnVillain: Endeavor’s abuse and SinkOrSwimMentor behavior let to Touya’s death and his transformation into Dabi.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: Endeavor wanted his successor to have an obvious fire quirk, fire-ice combo preferred and focused on his sons Touya and Shouto. He completely disregarded his other two children, Fuyumi and Natsuo as dismal failures for their ice quirks. This is despite Fuyumi having a Methane ice quirk and Natsuo having a Dry ice quirk, which Toshinori notes would be extremely powerful in their own rights. Instead, Endeavor stifled them and refused to give them a chance.
* DiggingYourselfDeeper: Hawks is already suspicious of Endeavor due to his interactions with Shouto. Endeavor doesn't help his case when he tells Hawks what Hawks is and isn't allowed to train Shouto in.
* DoubleStandard: Endeavor’s fine with beating his wife and sons but draws the line at laying a hand on his only daughter. This isn’t a good thing as it means that Fuyumi lives in terror of the one day that he will.
* DumbMuscle: Endeavor is so concerned about having a successor with a flashy fire or fire-ice quirk that he didn't think of the potential that Fuyumi and Natsuo's powerful ice quirks. In a larger scope, Endeavor frequently fails to think on the consequences of his actions.
* EntitledToHaveYou: Endeavor fully expected Inko to support him no matter what and feels betrayed that she called him an abuser for abusing his family.
* FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse: Endeavor [[spoiler: is revealed to have been abused as child by his father and saw his mother be abused.]] Considering this is revealed to show how Endeavor doesn't understand why his treatment of his wife and children is wrong, he doesn't get any sympathy points
* HeManWomanHater: Endeavor has a disturbing misogynistic attitude, considering his abuse and rape of his wife, and the complete dismissal of Inko when she attempts to protect his family. Endeavor wants the women of his life to support him and his goals, regardless of what they want or think.
* HeroWithBadPublicity: Endeavor has the worst publicity of all the Top Ten Heroes with a reputation of being rude, aggressive and impulsive. He’s a subversion as the negative rumors are more than true, in fact he’s actually much worse.
* IRejectYourReality: Even with Inko bringing evidence to his face and All Might and Hawks supporting her, Endeavor refuses to realize his treatment of his family is abuse.
* KickTheDog: Endeavor has Inko discredited and ruins her career for the crime of stopping him from abusing his family.
* NeverMyFault: Endeavor is not abusive to his family! Inko's just lying!
* ObliviouslyEvil: Endeavor doesn't realize the way he treats his wife and children is abuse. When Inko attempts to call him out on it, he believes that she was being hysterical. Since social services didn't come after him despite Inko's threats, he believes that he was right. He didn't realize that the Commission covered for him.
* RefuseToRescueTheDisliked: Defied. Endeavor admits that he would have rescued Inko if she ever got in trouble regardless of his feelings about her
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections: Endeavor got away with his very visible abuse of his family despite Inko’s attempts at reporting him due to being Number Two Hero and having the Commission on his side.
* SkewedPriorities: Endeavor is more angry that he didn't get to arrest Stain instead being relieved that his son is safe or that the Hero Killer is no longer at large.
* StageMom: Endeavor is the one from hell. He constantly controls his son Shouto's life in attempt to have Shouto surpass All Might, which he can't do myself. Endeavor is physically and verbally abusive . Endeavor attempts to micro-manage Shouto's life and training and tries to have Hawks continue to do so on his behalf. Hawks is both alarmed and horrified when he realizes what Endeavor is.
* TantrumThrowing: Endeavor throws several fires in his dojo and melts down his training equipment when he finds out that he was demoted to number three hero.
* TroubledAbuser: [[spoiler: Endeavor doesn’t understand the ways he treats his wife and children (i.e. beating them, emotionally abusing them) is abuse since it was how his own father treated him and his mother.]]
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Endeavor. Todoroki Ryu raised Endeavor to be the perfect pro hero and abused him terribly to keep him firmly under the Commission's complete control. It backfired massively as Endeavor refused to doing anything what anyone else tell him especially his father and he's too dangerous for them to control even with the proof of Endeavor abusing his own family. Todoroki Ryu couldn't even take one of Endeavor's children to groom because Endeavor refused to allow him anywhere near his own children. So Todoroki Ryu enslaved the young and talented Hawks so they would have the perfect, powerful and attractive propaganda hero that isn't allowed to refuse anything they ask him to do.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Endeavor was once a much kinder person, considering he used to be friends with Inko and Tomoko. Back in their UA days, he tried keep the two of them out of trouble, using his fire powers to migrate the damages their antics would cost. But then Endeavor became blinded by his ambitions and frustrations towards his goal of beating All Might. He coerces Rei to marrying him and used her to bear four children in hopes of having a child strong enough to defeat All Might. Endeavor beat his wife and children for not meeting his standards and neglected his eldest children when they were perceived to be "useless". When his friend Inko attempted to report him on his family's behalf and stop him from abusing his family, Endeavor had the Commission cover up the charges, had Inko discredited, and ruined her career to the point she had to start over completely.

!! Uwabami
* TheGhost: Not seen but her poor treatment of her interns is why Mirko recruits them.
* TheSvengali: Uwabami exploited her two interns Kendou and Momo as extras in her cosmetic and shampoo ads without having to pay them. Uwabami didn't even bother to teach them anything so the poor girls just wasted their time and don't have any new skill or knowledge to show for it. Mirko complains that Uwabami shouldn't be allowed to take interns if she's going to exploit them but not teach them.

!! Sir Nighteye
* DramaticallyMissingThePoint: Sir Nighteye attempts to choose All Might's successor without consulting him. Sorahiko points that Nighteye failed to consider that as the wielder of One for All, All Might would have his own opinions of what makes a good successor and it's ultimately his choice
* PoorCommunicationKills: Sir Nighteye groomed Mirio to be All Might's successor and is aghast that All Might instead chooses Izuku as his successor for One for All and Hawks as his successor for Number One Hero. Sorahiko points out that Sir Nighteye never asked All Might for his opinion nor told him about Mirio until after the fact.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Heroics Commission]]
!! The Commission as a whole:
* ControlFreak: The Commission is obsessed with keeping Hawks under their control even if their threats are completely irrational.
* OmniscientMoralityLicense: The Heroics Commission think they have license to commit questionable actions like buy a young Sora Takashiro and groom him to become the superhero Hawks and protecting Endeavor from domestic abuse and child abuse charges. The Commission sees Endeavor and Hawks too valuable in stopping crime and encouraging public safety that they let Endeavor go unpunished and trap Hawks in indentured servitude.
* PragmaticVillainy: While they trapped Sora and Kiyome in indentured servitude since Sora was six, the Heroics Commission waited for Sora to grow older to train him seriously. This wasn't because they cared about Sora but because they didn't want to damage their future investment while he was still a fragile child. Once Sora was older, the Commission lost that restraint.
* ScrewTheRulesIMakeThem: The Heroic Commission's favorite tactic.
** Normally the Heroics Commission would take months to update their Hero Rankings. Since their pet project Hawks got massive amounts of good publicity for his takedown of Stain, they quickly release new rankings. Which pushes Endeavor out of his spot and gives Hawks the position of #2 Hero.
** Normally once Hawks graduated, he would have started out as a sidekick. Because the Commission didn’t want anyone asking questions or noticing that Hawks has handlers, they pushed him into founding his own agency.
* ToBeLawfulOrGood: The Heroics Commission are strictly on the lawful side. Because Endeavor is the Number Two with a high criminal apprehension rate, they take the lawful route of taking his side, having social services bury the report and defaming the abuse reporter. They completely disregarded the Good they could have done by letting Endeavor have an abuse scandal.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Due to the Commission’s coverup Touya end up dying and Rei was pushed into a nervous breakdown.
* VicariouslyAmbitious: The Heroics Commission seek to have Hawks rise as high in the hero ranks as possible and do anything to allow circumstances to favor Hawks as much as possible. It's not that the Commission cares about Hawks. It's just they want a hero that's required to obey them to be as high-ranking as possible.

!! Saito Hana

* AllForNothing: Saito Hana has continued her predecessors’ abuse and corruption of the system in the name of protecting society [[spoiler: and all she’s going to get for it is swift boot out of office and political power and possibly jail time.]]
* AssholeVictim: [[spoiler: Saito Hana’s career has been annihilated and everything she worked for is all for nothing. It’s so sastifying for a vile person like her.]]
* BadBoss: Saito believes pro heroes being allowed to refuse missions that they don’t want or too dangerous for them to do is a bad thing and makes sure to strip Hawks of his ability to refuse.
* BecameTheirOwnAntithesis: Saito Hana reflects on her tenure on her head of the Heroics Commission:
-->'''She had decided to work for the Commission because she wanted to help heroes. (.....)'''
-->'''She had decided to work for the Commission, and in the end, she hasn’t helped any heroes.'''
* BigBadWannabe: Saito Hana is initially feared because she has a direct hold over Hawks and Kiyome's lives by trapping them with debt and control over his hero license which they could revoke and leave Hawks with no other means to support himself and crippling debt. [[spoiler: But Aoi, Inko, All Might, Kiyome and especially Louis make a chump out of her. Louis' quirk forces Saito to reveal all the truth and All Might terrifies her into complying to all their demands.]]
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: Saito believes its perfectly acceptable to continue enslaving a person to make them the Commission's figurehead hero and gets away with it by being the Head of the Heroes Commission.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Saito Hana is introduced marveling how certain heroes were both competent and popular. When she notes the Yuuei Big Three, she notes that she must get Mirio away from [[TheMentor Sir Nighteye]] to join another agency so she get him under the Commission’s influence.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Saito believes that it’s good that the Commission forbade Hawks from being to refuse missions. [[spoiler: She is appalled when All Might tells her to get rid of the debt she forced on Hawks or else.]]
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: How Saito Hana justifies enslaving Hawks [[spoiler: through the massive debt the Commission forced on him.]]
* KnightTemplar: Saito Hana believes that society needs heroes. She believed the best way for the Commission to do that was to have a powerful hero that would unable to refuse any mission like regular pro heroes can do. Which is why she thought she and the Commission were fully justified to enslave Hawks and groom him into being their ideal hero. [[spoiler: She thought their stranglehold on Hawks by keeping him in crippling debt was justified so he wouldn’t go out of control like Endeavor did]]

!! Todoroki Ryu
Endeavor's very estranged father and former Head of Commission

* The Corrupter: Ryu’s actions as an [[spoiler: abusive]] father and head of Commission corrupted the once-noble Endeavor, the once-idealistic Saito Hana and is indirectly responsible for Touya’s “death.”
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: Todoroki Ryu thought it was perfectly acceptable to trap a child and his mother through [[spoiler: loan slavery]] to groom the child into a controllable but popular hero. Then he made it acceptable for his successors to continue his vile plan on his behalf.
* CorruptPolitician: Ryu Todoroki is implied to be one considering all that Endeavor got away with
* DomesticAbuser: [[spoiler: Ryu abused his own wife and child to the point Endeavor thought such treatment is normal.]]
* EvilerThanThou: Todoroki Ryu is essentially Endeavor without any of his few good or humanizing traits.
* {{Foil}}: Todoroki Ryu has Endeavor’s negative traits but amplified by 20. As opposed to his son, Ryu is the superior manipulator as his various crimes and abuses have been going on a lot longer without his victims being able to get away from him or stop him.
* GreaterScopeVillain: His abuse and crimes drive all the past and current conflict. A list of his crimes to date: [[spoiler: parental abuse of his son Enji and his domestic abuse of his wife which normalized abuse to Enji which led him to inflict on his own family; trapping Sora and Kiyome in indentured servitude which still has Sora caged as Hawks in his adulthood; and his actions influencing the Hero Commission into continuing his campaign of blackmail, cover-ups and corruptions to the present.]]
* HateSink: Todoroki Ryu [[spoiler: is a cruel and abusive man whose abuse of his wife and child shaped Endeavor into the terrible man he is in his attempt to groom his son into being the perfect hero. He enslaves Sora and Kiyome without remorse and has his successors continue his vile plan.]]
* {{Jerkass}}: Considering how he treats high-ranking politician Aoi and how he treated his own [[spoiler: son]], Ryu is definitely one.
* MachiavelliWasWrong: [[spoiler: It's implied that Todoroki Ryu abused Endeavor as a way to keep him afraid and under control. It backfired as Endeavor hated his father more than he feared him and the moment he had power of his own, he stopped listening to everybody.]]
* MyGreatestSecondChance: [[spoiler: Todoroki Ryu screwed up in raising Endeavor, with the goal of making him a popular and powerful pro hero under the Commission’s complete control. But he went overboard with his physical abuse, leading to his son hating him more than he feared him and said son refusing to listen to anyone.]] Then Ryu comes across an impoverished six year old who was better at rescuing than most adult pros with a convenient vigilante mother to train and control him through. This time around, Ryu uses psychological [[spoiler: and financial]] abuse to keep his prodigy and the mother in line, which was far more effective.
* NamesToRunFromReallyFast: Todoroki Ryu, Endeavor’s father, probable source of Endeavor’s Fire Quirk and a politician. Certainly not a friendly one considering his name means dragon.
* NonActionBigBad: Most of Todoroki Ryu’s power comes through his political clout and social standing not his quirk.
* PredecessorVillain: Todoroki Ryu was head of the Heroics Commission and retired around 20 years ago. He abused his family and enslaved Sora, a child, to become a hero under the Commission's thumb.
* SinkOrSwimMentor: Todoroki Ryu is implied to be one. Like his son, his methods were so horrible that it backfired that it drove Endeavor to never speak to him [[spoiler: or allow any of his children near him.]]
* ScrewTheRulesIMakeThem: [[spoiler: Todoroki Ryu was the former Head of the Heroics Commission. Through them he was gotten away with his own abuse of his wife and son, covered his now-adult son’s abuse of his family and enslaved Hawks and his mother in his bid of making a high-ranking hero under his control.]]
* SleazyPolitician: Ryu Todoroki is implied to be one. Aoi Monoma calls him an old fossil that thinks he’s more important than he really is.
* SmallNameBigEgo: Ryu Todoroki is called by Aoi Monoma for thinking that he's much more important than he actually is despite him completely irrelevant in modern politics. Ryu Todoroki's attitude is implied to be due to him being a major player in the past considering he's Endeavor's father.
* WalkingSpoiler: Todoroki Ryu. Much of his entry is spoiler tagged for a reason.

[[folder: The Aery Interns]]

!! The Aery Interns as a whole
* FamedInStory: Iida Tenya, Midoriya Izuku, Todoroki Shouto and Tokoyami Fumikage become widely known as the Hosu Quartet.
* FourTemperamentEnsemble: The Hosu Quartet is initially this. But this gets dropped after the introduction of Camie and Neito.
** Sanguine (blood): Izuku. The leader of the Hosu Quartet with a Motor Mouth when it comes to quirks and compassionate to save others. Is a hero otaku.
** Choleric (yellow bile): Tenya. The Class Representative who's hard-working a bit too hard on the Lawful Good and is learning to be more flexible.
** Melancholic (black bile): Shouto. Introverted but highly emotional. He keeps his feeling close to his chest due to his abusive upbringing until it comes all out bursting.
** Phlegmatic (phlegm): Fumikage. Despite being uber Goth, he's the OnlySaneMan among them and the most level-headed.
* InUniverseNickname: The media calls Iida Tenya, Midoriya Izuku, Todoroki Shouto and Tokoyami Fumikage, the Hosu Quartet.
* KickedUpstairs: Hawks gives the Hosu Quartet a very-sought after internships at his agency. Mostly because he believes that none of them have a self-preservation instinct between the four of them.
* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: Camie is the only non-Yuuei student of the Aery Interns as she attends Shiketsu High. Of the Yuuei interns, Monoma is the only non Class 1-A student.

!! Midoriya Izuku
* CassandraTruth: Izuku is so used to authority figures ignoring him about Bakugou bullying him that he's weirded out by Hawks, Mirko and Inko's genuine concern and disgust at Bakugou's actions.
* ChocolateBaby: Zigzagged. It at first seems that Izuku might be one because his PowerCopying quirk seems like it has elements of his mother's quirk, but not his father's. Children usually have either one of their parents' quirks, a mix of both, or something completely new. To have a combination with one parent and not the other usually means YourCheatingHeart, but Izuku is legitimate, and his quirk ''is'' a mix of his parents'. Hisashi just lied about his quirk being fire breath.
* DemotedToExtra: Downplayed. Izuku is still important to the story but he is demoted to {{Deuteragonist}} while Hawks, a minor characater in canon, [[AscendedExtra is promoted to primary protagonist]].
* {{Deuteragonist}}: Hawks and Izuku are both protagonists to the story as the story centers on the two's actions and the effects thereof.
* DitzyGenius: Izuku has sharp analysis and a great drive to be a hero. That said his tendency of muttering his thoughts in public and tendencies of leaping before looking gets him in trouble.
* GeekyTurnOn: Izuku decides to give Monoma a chance just so he could pick Monoma’s brain when he reads Monoma’s Quirk analysis.
* GrewASpine: Izuku finally confronts Bakugou about the decade of abuse and how he doesn’t deserve the prestigious internship with Hawks or Mirko because of Bakugou’s bad attitude.
* HeroicBSOD: Izuku takes the reveal of having a quirk the whole time, rather badly.
* HybridPower: Izuku gets Copy All from his mother Inko's minor gravitational quirk and his father Hisashi's All for One.
* ItWasWithYouAllAlong: Izuku is not quirkless, but Copy All has a somewhat non-intuitive activation, which is why he didn't know about it.
* PowerParasite: Izuku is a rare heroic and downplayed example. His original Quirk, Copy All allows him to copy Quirks from their original owners, keep the copy and then make use of them in the same fashion with training. As a result he lacks the moral dilemma of stealing a Quirk because he needs or wants it, unlike his father All for One, who he got that aspect of his Quirk from.
* SinsOfTheFather: Defied. Despite Izuku being the son of All for One and having a similar Quirk to his father, Toshinori doesn’t hold it against him. Toshinori refuses to take One for All back from Izuku and Izuku continues to be his successor. Gran Torino later notes that he seems to have inherited more from [[GreaterScopeParagon his uncle]] than his father.
* TheTell: According to Kiyome, Izuku twitches too much when he lies.

!! Todoroki Shouto
* BeneathTheMask: When Inasa first met Shouto, he thought he was a huge asshole like Endeavor. When he meets him again as Hawks’ intern, he finds Shouto to a quiet and pensive. And a regular hormonal teenager.
* ConditionedToAcceptHorror: Shouto comments that it’s nice to have training where he’s not being beaten during it.
* HopeIsScary: Shouto is bewildered and terrified that Hawks is attempting to intervene on Endeavor’s abuse.
* HormoneAddledTeenager: Played for laughs. Shouto soothes himself by staring at Izuku’s butt and much rather make out then pay attention to the new interns. He snaps when he needs to stand at attention but still...
* TraumaButton: Talking about his father is a massive one for Shouto. It takes Hawks to do a little prodding for Shouto to have an emotional breakdown and tell him everything.

!! Iida Tenya
The younger brother of the Turbo Hero, Ingenium/Iida Tensei.
------

[[folder: The Aery Interns]]

!! The Aery Interns as a whole
* FamedInStory: Iida Tenya,
Midoriya Izuku, Todoroki Shouto Family]]
!!Tropes that apply to whole family
* LockedOutOftTheLoop: The Midoriyas never knew what happened to Kiyome
and Tokoyami Fumikage become widely known as Sora, didn’t knew Sora was Hawks nor that they were trapped in debt slavery by the Hosu Quartet.
Commission. None of that was an accident.

!! Midoriya Inko
* FourTemperamentEnsemble: The Hosu Quartet is initially this. But this gets dropped after BadassBureaucrat: Inko was a Management Department student who shaped Endeavor’s agency into the introduction of Camie powerhouse it is. While she’s an average if intelligent civilian woman, she bravely stood up to Endeavor, a taller and Neito.
** Sanguine (blood): Izuku. The leader of the Hosu Quartet
more powerful Pro-Hero and gives a painful groin attack. Just seeing her fills Endeavor with a Motor Mouth when dread. When Endeavor has the Heroic Commission ruin her career, she doesn't let it comes get her down. She goes to quirks law school and compassionate to save others. Is becomes a hero otaku.
** Choleric (yellow bile): Tenya. The Class Representative who's hard-working a bit too hard on the Lawful Good and
lawyer specializing in Heroic Law!
* BiTheWay: Considering Inko dated Aoi Monoma but married Hisashi Ishikawa, she
is learning definitely bisexual
* FormerTeenRebel: Inko used
to be more flexible.
** Melancholic (black bile): Shouto. Introverted but highly emotional. He keeps
a big troublemaker alongside Tomoko Hatsume. She would use her silver tongue to sweet-talk her way out of trouble.
* GuileHero: Inko uses her wits, her specialization in Hero Law and political connections to bring men like Endeavor to their knees in spite of having a weak quirk.
* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: Inko turns her back on Endeavor, who was her best friend and boss for
his feeling close to abuse of his chest due family.
* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: Inko attempted
to help a battered wife and an abused child by reporting their abuser’s crime. It was covered up by the Heroics Commission to avoid the scandal of a major hero abusing his abusive upbringing until it comes all family. Inko is discredited and fired for her heroism.
* NotInThisForYourRevolution: Inko. She isn’t trying to topple the Heroic Commission or hero industry
out bursting.
** Phlegmatic (phlegm): Fumikage.
of an ideology like Stain or AFO. She’s there to stop innocent people from being abused and exploited and doesn’t care what she has to do to stop it.
* NotSoDifferent:
* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: Camie is the only non-Yuuei student
on different ends of the Aery Interns morality spectrums, Inko is much more similar than AFO realized as she attends Shiketsu High. Of also wants to take down the Yuuei interns, Heroics System.
* SharedFamilyQuirks: Inko is attracted to intelligent but powerful people, considering her past relationship with Aoi
Monoma is and her marriage to Hisashi Ishikawa. Her son has similar tastes as he considers dating Aoi's son
* {{Unperson}}: Inko was essentially written out of
the Endeavor agency history despite being a founding and vital member.
* WhosLaughingNow: Inko attempted to report Endeavor for his abuse of his family
only non Class 1-A student.

to lose her career for her troubles. 18 years later, accompanied with All Might and Hawks, Inko’s gentle smile sends great fear to Endeavor’s heart

!! Midoriya Izuku
Kiyome nèe Takashiro
* CassandraTruth: Izuku AlmightyMom: Kiyome can intimidate an entire agency of trained pro-heroes and vigilantes just by walking up to them. Kiyome sometimes even manages to cow the Commission in order to protect her son. Everyone in the Aery respects and fears her.
* AnimalMotifs: Kiyome has strong bird of prey motifs with her watchful golden eyes and tendency to ambush people.
* {{Foil}}: Kiyome Takashiro, Hawks' mother
is so used one to authority figures ignoring him about Bakugou bullying him that he's weirded Rei Todoroki. They are both parents with powerful children and their agency was stripped from them by forces out by Hawks, Mirko and Inko's genuine concern and disgust at Bakugou's actions.
* ChocolateBaby: Zigzagged. It at first seems that Izuku might be one because his PowerCopying quirk seems like it has elements of his mother's quirk, but not his father's. Children usually have either one
of their parents' quirks, a mix of both, or something completely new. To have a combination with one parent and not the other usually means YourCheatingHeart, but Izuku is legitimate, and his quirk ''is'' a mix of his parents'. Hisashi just lied about his quirk control. They are separated from their families: Rei to being fire breath.
* DemotedToExtra: Downplayed. Izuku is still important
sold by her family to the story but he is demoted to {{Deuteragonist}} while Hawks, a minor characater in canon, [[AscendedExtra is promoted to primary protagonist]].
* {{Deuteragonist}}: Hawks
marry Endeavor and Izuku Kiyome because her family and in-laws disapproved of her marrying. Which prevents them from raising their children how they like, they constantly have to run interference to how their children were trained and are both protagonists abused as a result.
* DefectorFromDecadence: Despite being pushed hard into
the story as heroics industry, Kiyome was disgusted at the story centers excess, showboating and lack of actual altruism and wanted nothing to do with it. Having her son forced into pro heroing validated and enforced her opinion
* DeterminedWidow: Kiyome lost her husband due to undetected illness but she raises her son
on the two's actions her own despite what poverty and the effects thereof.Heroic Commission throw at her.

* DitzyGenius: Izuku has sharp analysis and a great drive to be a hero. That said his tendency of muttering his thoughts in public and tendencies of leaping before looking gets him in trouble.
* GeekyTurnOn: Izuku decides to give Monoma a chance just so he could pick Monoma’s brain when he reads Monoma’s Quirk analysis.

and is willing to fight for him and be there for him
* HybridPower: Izuku gets Copy All Kiyome, in turn, got her quirk from her mother's wings and her father's hardening quirk.
* LivingLieDetector: Hawks and Kiyome's eyesight is sharp enough that they can immediately tell that Toshinori is lying that he was sent by All Might to check up on Izuku
* MamaBear: Hawks describes
his mother Inko's minor gravitational quirk and his father Hisashi's All for One.
* ItWasWithYouAllAlong: Izuku is not quirkless,
thus: "He may be twenty-two years old, but Copy All has a somewhat non-intuitive activation, which is why he didn't know about it.

* {{Foil}}: Kiyome Takashiro, Hawks' mother is one to Rei Todoroki. They are both parents with powerful children and their agency was stripped from them by forces out of their control.

* ILied: A heroic variant. Monoma Aoi never intended to keep her silence about the Commission's abuses and crimes even when Saito complies to their demands.

An old friend and info broker of Aoi's
* TheGhost: she is never seen. She warns the Monoma parents about the state of Japan and the importance of keeping their son’s powerful Quirk a secret.

* AwakeningTheSleepingGiant: The Heroics Commission made the fatal mistake of thinking that All Might, the freaking Symbol of Peace would never find out about their various abuses of power and crimes.
