A Vesk Soldier, formerly a pirate captain of the Diaspora, Edrass was marooned by his old crew when they thought he was weak for letting a medical shipment go. He became a mercenary, famous for his daring assault on a pharmaceutical CEO who was price gouging locals for essential medicines. On the Drift Rider, Edrass is the primary gunner

Born the scion of the wealthiest corporation on the planet, Rami was enrolled at the best pilot schools money could buy. In secret, he learned the ways of technomancy from his online mentor, Kendori. Rami is the Drift Riders pilot.

A Lashunta Solarion who is newly discovering her powers and her abilities, Alyndra is the Captain of the Drift Rider. The strongest member of the Team, Alyndra mixes melee combat with her powerful solar abilities.
*Gravity Master: Alyndra's Solarion abilities give her control over local gravity.
*GreenSkinnedAlienBabe: As a Lashunta, Alyndra fits this trope.
*LongLostSibling: A vision in the Dreaming Pool shows Alyndra her long lost sister. Possibly.

An Android Mechanic, ANDIS is an ex-slave who escaped and set up a repair business on Absalom Station. ANDIS-147 is the Drift Rider's chief Engineer. As a mechanic, ANDIS-147 uses their Exocortex to track targets in battle.
*AndroidsArePeopleToo: Android's are fully sapient beings with souls, and legally citizens throughout the pact worlds. Despite this, many are still treated as slaves to this day.
*ArtificialAfterlife: ANDIS-147 discovers that their exocortex houses remnants or echoes of all 146 previous souls that have inhabited the body that they currently hold.
*CombatMedic: ANDIS-147 is the teams medic, treating deadly wounds on themself and others.
*GadgeteerGenius: As a Mechanic, ANDIS is naturally this.
*MadeASlave: ANDIS-147 was "born" into slavery
*OlderThenTheyLook: ANDIS-147 is at getting close to 100 years of age. Their body is actually at least 5000 years old, quite possibly more.
*TheProphecy: ANDIS and the other members of their line are the subject of a prophecy involving Triune. What's interesting is that their bodies are actually several thousand years older then Triune.
