* AmbiguousGenderIdentity: According to some behind the scenes sources post-series cancellation, there were plans for Connor to slowly discover that they're actually a trans woman. Because this never came to pass, it's unclear whether or not this still applies, though there ''were'' subtle hints in the show itself (such as Connor comparing himself to an egg that hasn't hatched yet, a common metaphor for gender dysphoria).

** In Episode 8, many of the numerous Connor duplicates look like they've been mutated or transformed in various ways, which hints that Connor has been victim to this trope ''many'' times over the years. Examples include Connors who look like they've been turned into a {{cyborg}}, a SharkMan, one whose [[SquashedFlat body was flattened and stretched out]], a few who became {{vampire}}s, a few [[MushroomMan whose heads were partially replaced with large mushrooms]], and much more.
