* KnowWhenToFoldEm: He knew that fighting with Anthem wouldn't have ended well if continued too long, so he bolted the moment he had the chance.
* NominalHero: What he was before going villain. Anthem notes that he was once "nominally" a hero, which meant he wasn't exactly a shining paragon to begin with.
* VillainousUnderdog: His fight against Anthem. She's a FlyingBrick who is both stronger and faster than him, but he still manages to keep up until he realizes that escape is the better option.

* PlayingWithFire: As you can expect from the leader of the Pyrebands, he's an extremely dangerous pyro.
