* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** Her prior attempts to enter Turnback Cave ended in failure because of her being too young both physically and mentally to endure the horrors of what the cave presented, even if to her adult self it appears to be empty aside from an unnerving heartbeat as ambiance the closer you actually got to Giratina.
** Many would've expected her to teach Avalanche to Weavile, but considering how it does additional damage to the opponent when the user has taken damage prior, it was more likely her Empoleon would learn the move as opposed to Weavile, since Weavile is too much of a GlassCannon to properly use Avalanche.
** When she was younger she tried to get through the routes just before Snowpoint City, but this was before she added pants to her wardrobe, and this naturally resulted in her nearly dying of cold due to her bare legs being exposed to the elements. Lucas brings this up as a possible reason for why Dawn likes to cuddle with him so much, since he seems like Dawn has been craving a lot of physical contact as a whole but notes she definitely loves having her legs touched.

The prologue of the fic was posted one week in advance of what will be the 12th anniversary of the US release of the game. In other words, the time skip and subsequent age lifts took place in real time, as in-story, 12 years have passed since the last part of the post-game storyline of ''Platinum'' involving Team Galactic at Stark Mountain.

* ExplosiveBreeder: Canonically has produced at least 30 Starly eggs with a female Staraptor closer to his own size. Incidentally, this amount of eggs being bred is required to unlock some of the furniture in the Villa; technically the eggs could come from any number of different Pokémon, but Starly was chosen to provide something simple.

* SmartPeopleWearGlasses: Unlike most of the held items of Dawn's team, Gallantry is often seen wearing the Wise Glasses item he's equipped with. Dawn's other Pokemon all have items associated with them, but Gallantry's Wise Glasses make him look more human in how he wears them.

* HiddenDepths: His physical strength isn't as lacking as some might expect, and his knowledge on sexual behavior is great enough to impress Zoey and ask why he's not a professor in a school or university who teaches such subjects there.

* TheNightOwl: His first H-scene isn't when he first shows up at Dawn's villa late in the evening, but after he sleeps with Dawn in bed, nude, cuddling for the most part, and it isn't until 1 in the morning after the two had rested with each other where he's given the chance to make his first move on-page.

* AllLesbiansWantKids: Angie is apparently the one between her and Zoey who wants to actually go through the pregnancy, but Zoey insists on getting pregnant as well to ensure both of them can properly tend to the infants due to Zoey's breasts already being more developed. Even then, however, Angie is not bi like Zoey is, and thus has no idea how to appeal to men and is quite nervous about trying; it is her desire to overcome this nervousness to prove to herself and Zoey how dedicated she is with wanting to be her lover.

* IncompatibleOrientation: She insists on a natural conception for her and Zoey's child and yet despite Angie being adamant on being the mother, she's not bi like how Zoey is, and thus has zero experience with how to have sex with a man in the bedroom, yet alone actually get comfortable with doing so in-order to properly get knocked up.

Not only that, but since Zoey is bi, both of their plans on a natural conception would work better in her case, as she knows how to appeal to a man in the bedroom, whereas Angie has no experience with men and is a lesbian.

* GoingCommando: Not something that's intentional with her, but whenever she has sex with Barry, she lets Barry keep whatever panties she was wearing at the time prior, and unless she heads back to her villa, she doesn't keep any spares with her to change into elsewhere. Although, if rumors are true from Lucas, to which even Barry doesn't believe him, that whenever Dawn partakes in Pokémon Contests, she opts to not wear any panties at all underneath her significantly lengthier skirt for her contest attire.

** She had only partook in very few contests in her life, having more of a liking towards battling when compared to her mother Johanna, who was very famous in the Pokémon Contest competitions. That said, if Dawn actually tried, she'd outclass her mother easily in terms of her performance abilities.
* LethalChef: Unless she's cooking with a group, she can't cook poffins reliably since she's worrying too much about stirring it properly and accidentally burning it to properly focus. That said, when Johanna, Lucas, and Barry assist her with cooking, she's able to make excellent poffins which she has fed her own Pokémon to effectively max out all of their major contest stats.

Lucas brings this up as a possible reason for why Dawn likes to cuddle with him so much, since he seems like Dawn has been craving a lot of physical contact as a whole but notes she definitely loves having her legs touched.

!! Dawn

* AllYourPowersCombined: Every single Gym Leader TM she received, as well as the TM for Return, has been used on her primary team as part of using her past opponents own strategies against them and then some. For specifics:
** Dera (Empoleon): Stealth Rock, Brine, Flash Cannon, Avalanche
** Rylegh (Staraptor): Return
** Vizion (Luxray): Charge Beam
** Gallantry (Gardevoir): Grass Knot
** Proxima (Lucario): Drain Punch, Shadow Claw
* CuteMute: Unlike all of the other instances of a relatively quiet protagonist, Dawn actually is flat out incapable of speaking altogether.
* DisabledInTheAdaptation: She's mute in this incarnation. Unlike other examples of the whole CuteMute in this SeriesFic, Dawn has absolutely no dialogue spoken with any voice of her own.
* FriendsWithBenefits: With both Lucas and Barry, as elaborated on in the prologue. So far it hasn't been stated whether boy men are aware of this regarding each other having shared the same woman in such a way.
* GenderEqualsBreed:
** Her Empoleon, a female, and Barry's Floatzel, a male, both are in the exact same Egg Groups as each other and both wind up producing a Egg after sneaking off while Dawn and Barry are having a rematch at the Survival Area. The Piplup hatched from said egg is currently in Johanna's care.
** Her Weavile is apparently fathered by what is heavily implied to be Cyrus' Weavile, considering Dawn shows reluctance to have Slayer out in battle against Giratina as opposed to Dera, even in spite of the former's significantly larger type advantage against Giratina. [[spoiler:This not only hints that Cyrus is very much still alive in this fic, but also the fact that he wasn't wrong about the Distortion World and he more or less got exactly what he wanted from being here for the remainder of eternity.]]
* HiddenDepths:
** The nicknames for her male Staraptor and female Weavile, noted as "Rylegh" and "Slayer" respectively, all seem to imply to have a deeper meaning than what's readily shown.
** [[spoiler:Slayer was apparently an abandoned offspring of Cyrus' Weavile that Dawn had stumbled across in the northern parts of Sinnoh without even realizing the significance of it until the confrontation with Cyrus in the Distortion World which has her Weavile significantly more subdued in temper when facing Cyrus' own Weavile, and uncharacteristically unwilling to attack him.]]
* MakingASplash: Her signature Empoleon.
* TheNicknamer: She nicknames her Pokémon, which is something Barry and Lucas don't do.
* NothingIsScarier: The narration implies that Dawn actually attempted to enter Turnback Cave at some point while she was younger. She was only ever able to run into two pillar rooms before being forced out by some dreadful feeling back to the lobby, but we're not told the specifics of it.
* RealityEnsues:
* SelfMadeWoman: Not only did she more or less acquire the highest win ratio against Cynthia out of all of her challengers all on her own, and taking down Team Galactic in the process of training for the Pokémon League, but the deal with he Villa in ''Platinum'' the player can acquire? She lives there 24/7 now that she's all grown up.

!! Dawn's Pokemon

* InformedEquipment: An exception to the usual case, since all of Dawn's Pokémon have their respective signature held items visible on them somewhere.
** Dera: Wears the Mystic Water around her neck.
** Rylegh: Wears the Silk Scarf around his right leg.
** Vizion: Has the Magnet tucked into his mane.
** Gallantry: Often wears the Wises Glasses much like a normal person would wear glasses.
** Slayer: Holds onto the Black Glasses around her neck.
** Proxima: The Expert Belt is wrapped around his midsection.

!!! Dera (Empoleon)

* AcceptableBreaksFromCanon: Knows more than 4 moves unlike the rest of the party, which her default main moves are Stealth Rock, Flash Cannon, Brine, and Avalanche, but also includes moves like Aqua Jet, Ice Beam, Drill Peck, and Hydro Cannon. She can also use the HM moves Waterfall, Surf, and Rock Climb, but otherwise doesn't use these three moves in battle. Justified as to why Dera knows so many moves, as Dera has been on Dawn's team longer than any of her other Pokémon by comparison, and is considered Dawn's personal ace.
* AnIcePerson: She can use Ice Beam and Avalanche, and these two moves are the most consistent of her more than 4 moves she has access to, since Avalanche is better off as a counter move as opposed to directly damaging a target outright.
* BerserkButton: Gets rather ticked off at moves or abilities that lower her Stats, in the process gaining a large boost to Attack if this happens. This is because Dera has her Hidden Ability Defiant, which is the result of Dawn using an Ability Patch on her.
* ExtraOreDinary: Part Steel Type, and knows the TM move Flash Cannon. Also, while she isn't Rock Type, she does know the move Stealth Rock, which allows her to gradually weaken the opponent's team if they happen to love switching out their Pokémon. She has employed Stealth Rock to great effect against the Elite Four member Aaron in the past, to the point Aaron had to begin revamping his strategy if he wanted to avoid damage from it.
* MakingASplash: Her default type, as well as being part Steel Type, and most heavily reflected by her knowing Brine, Aqua Jet, and Hydro Cannon, in addition to being referenced as using Surf and Waterfall. This makes for a total of 5 Water Type moves she employs even if she only often ever uses Brine the most out of them.
* SuperStrength: A lot of her moves are Physical based moves, and she is strong enough to carry Dawn on her back when scaling mountainous terrain using Rock Climb, especially noteworthy considering Dera's usually best suited to water terrain above all else.

!!! Rylegh (Staraptor)

* AlwaysAccurateAttack: Aerial Ace, which is depicted here as Rylegh moving so impossibly fast that the target can't react to dodge it ahead of time unless using a move specifically intended to block damage altogether.
* TheBigGuy: Literally he's the largest male Staraptor for his time, at least from a specimen who started as a Starly from the wild. His large size led to him being much more hormonally charged than normal Staraptor, and had intimidated too many potential mates from him, but when he finally found a female Staraptor roughly his own size? The next thing Dawn realized after spending a few hours away at with Rylegh at the Daycare was being greeted to ''30'' Starly Eggs that now belonged to her in particular.
* BlowYouAway: Flying Type, and can flap his powerful wings to use Defog from which to clear the area of intense fog. Like Dera, he doesn't use this move in battle as part of his actual moveset. He ''does'', however, use the move Fly in-battle in addition to being used as transport.
* GiantFlyer: He's the size of the average Corviknight, which is big enough to use as part of a Flying Taxi service in it's own region. Dawn likewise uses Rylegh as a mount for flying across Sinnoh with.
* ThePowerOfFriendship: Knows the move Return in reference to the TM that Professor Rowan first gave Dawn.
* SingleTargetSexuality: He'll only ever breed with another Staraptor, as he's too shy around other female Pokémon to bother try mating with them. Ironically enough the biggest reason why he couldn't find a mate among other Staraptor was because his size intimidated most of the average Staraptor who saw him.

!!! Vizion (Luxray)

* [[ManBitesMan Mon Bites Mon]]: Knows Crunch, which is one of two Physical Moves he has to demonstrate his stronger physical strength by default compared to his Special Attack.
* StatusBuff: Charge Beam boosts his overall power with Special Moves, which is what he uses Thunderbolt for after having charged his power enough to have a very dangerous Thunderbolt spam ensuing afterwards.
* SuperStrength: His Physical abilities all have this in common, but he literally knows the move Strength which is the embodiment of this trope in the ''Pokémon'' series. Unlike Dera, he actually uses this move in battle even with the fact it's an HM move.
* ShockAndAwe: Electric Type, and is equipped with the Magnet to further amplify the power of his electrical abilities, so that his Charge Beam and Thunderbolt combo is even stronger than it already would be otherwise.
* XRayVision: Vizion has used this ability to detect trespassers at Dawn's Villa while Dawn is asleep, and being able to see through solid walls can allow him to spot intruders without being spotted himself much of the time.

!!! Gallantry (Gardevoir)

* GreenThumb: He knows Grass Knot, which is one of the TM moves that Dawn taught her Pokémon team from which the Gym Leaders of Sinnoh had given her during her original journey. It's because of this move in particular that he's formed an intense rivalry with Cynthia's Milotic, considering Milotic isn't fast enough to be able to defend itself from Gallantry's Grass Knot.
* {{Telepathy}}: He can read Dawn's mind and translate Dawn's thoughts into a voiced speech, from which Gallantry's voice sounds a lot like what one would expect Dawn herself to sound like.
* ViewerGenderConfusion: InUniverse this is some people's reaction to Gallantry's female voice despite being a male. However, it's not even his voice in particular; they are Dawn's thoughts translated into audio via telepathic mind reading and speaking what Dawn is thinking in a type of voice befitting of Dawn proper. Gallantry otherwise doesn't make any sort of sound indicating what his actual voice even remotely sounds like.

!!! Slayer (Weavile)

* AnIcePerson: Ice Type, and knows the move Ice Punch. Dawn had also considered teaching Slayer the move Avalanche, but had ultimately used the TM on Dera instead, because of the fact Avalanche works better when the user takes damage before executing the move, and Weavile is too much of a GlassCannon to rely on such an effect.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Dark Type, predominately more active at night as opposed to other times of day, and is from a species of Pokémon often being associated with nasty trainers. However, the last bit is a nasty stereotype associated with Dark Types overall, and Slayer, while she is a bit of a ruthless Pokémon, is actually a very calm and levelheaded Pokémon among Dawn's entire team.
* GlassCannon: Very fast, hits very hard, but is not very durable. The latter aspect is the exact reason why Dawn didn't opt to teach her Avalanche.
* HPToOne: She knows False Swipe, but whether she can handle her own using the move or not depends on if she's facing a Ghost Type Pokémon, from which she relies on Proxima using Foresight against for her to be able to land a successful hit with the move against a Ghost Type Pokémon.

!!! Proxima (Lucario)

* AlwaysAccurateAttack: His species' most iconic move Aura Sphere is part of his moveset, and every move he otherwise has in addition to this has at least 100% accuracy by default.
* BareFistedMonk: Fighting Type, and utilizes the moves Aura Sphere and Drain Punch among these types of moves.
* CastingAShadow: Knows Shadow Claw, which is one of two of the Gym Leader TM moves he's been taught.
* ExtraOreDinary: He's part Steel Type, but oddly enough he doesn't know any Steel Type moves whatsoever.
* NoSell: He can revoke the Ghost Type's immunity to Normal and Fighting moves via Foresight, which can allow Dawn to then have Slayer use False Swipe against them to weaken them, whereas under normal situations they'd otherwise be immune to False Swipe.

!! Barry

* {{Irony}}: His Partner Pokémon is the more mellow minded of the three Sinnoh Starters, being Torterra, whereas Barry is the more energetic of the three main leads.
* MakingLoveInAllTheWrongPlaces: He and Dawn had sex out of impulse just after finding their respective Water Types as having bred in isolation within the Survival Area, throwing all caution to the wind in the process about any potential witnesses.

!! Lucas

* CuddleBug: How his sexual encounters with Dawn tend to be much of the time. Lots and lots of cuddling are to be expected.
* {{Irony}}: His Infernape is a literally hotblooded individual compared to Lucas being relatively calm and gentle.
* SleepCute: His intimacy with Dawn tends to revolve more around cuddling with each other as opposed to Dawn and Barry's more primal sexual interaction.

!! Cynthia

* RetiredBadass: Not outright retired ''just'' yet, but she's working towards paving the way towards such a lifestyle. She's realized that with Dawn's unequaled win ratio against her, that Dawn is the best candidate for her to inherit the Champion Title from her for good until Dawn herself eventually would retire.

!! Johanna

* EmptyNest: She lives all on her own in Twinleaf Town, with the latest addition to her household being a Piplup that Dawn had given her after her Empoleon had bred with Barry's Floatzel.
* {{Irony}}: Her Purugly still tends to attract quite a bit of attention from nearby wild Pokémon, even though it's more {{Gonk}}ish compared to her previous form. Considering Johanna's competitive nature in the Pokémon Contests, the reason as to why Purugly is still an eye catcher is very simple; Purugly has a maxed out Beauty Stat.
* SignatureMon: Originally, Glameow, much like in the anime. However, by the present day, it has evolved into a Purugly.
