Suck my dick, Flamey the Bear" and when Flamey confessed that he had sex with his mother the day he met him at the opening of a Winn-Dixie.

However, Malloy manages to steal all his friends and become well-liked amongst his fellow students.

* {{Expy}}: He serves as this to [[WesternAnimation/SouthPark Eric Cartman]]; they're both politically incorrect, {{manipulative|bastard}}, [[DeadpanSnarker snarky]], and lazy {{Spoiled Brat}}s who show symptoms of Anti-Social Personality Disorder, display all SevenDeadlySins, and are victims of sexual violence. They're also both some of (if not the) most rotten and amoral characters in their respective shows, although they still do [[FreudianExcuse have their reasons]] why [[WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds they're like that]].

* TheHedonist: Him loving junk food, porn, apparently being addicted to VideoGames plus his phone, and having a {{sadist}}ic streak altogether point to him being hedonistic.
* HeightAngst: Type I. Malloy is exceptionally small for a 6-year-old bear (meaning he's no longer a cub).
** A downplayed case in "Write 'Em Cowboy" as he doesn't seem insecure about his small stature. However, he does wish he was taller so he would no longer be infantilized. [[spoiler:It ultimately becomes a Type II when he decides he hates being tall, courtesy of a BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor scenerio]].
** Implied in the Armoogeddon comics when he suggests he was hoping his future self would be much bigger than his present self.
* HollywoodAtheist: He declared in "Two Weeks Notice" that there is no god, despite their being god in the Brickleberry universe.
* HumiliationConga: Despite typically being a KarmaHoudini, he experiences this {{trope}} big time in "Write 'Em Cowboy". Complete with being infantilized, [[TheFreelanceShameSquad laughed at]], [[UrineTrouble peed on]], etc.
* InkSuitActor: Basically his VA Creator/DanielTosh in cub form, if Tosh was a completely irredeemable human being.
* IronicAllergy: Despite him being a bear, he reveals in "Squabbits" that he's allergic to bees.
* ItsAllAboutMe: You're not Malloy's top priority if you're not Malloy.
* JerkassHasAPoint: Yea, he's a jerk alright, but he still can make accurate points.
* JerkassToOne: While he is needlessly unpleasant towards ''everyone'', his favorite target is [[LoserProtagonist Steve]] whom he humiliates mercilessly on a daily basis. TheReveal that ''Steve'' was the one responsible for death of his parents only exacerbates this.
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk:
** He's selfish with an acerbic personality type who also treats everyone like shit, including his owner Woody. If Malloy opens his mouth, chances are he's insulting you, or about to screw you over. And, almost every time he seems like he's going to show a nicer side, he soon reveals that's not the case.
** There are several instances when Malloy seems like he's going to have a PetTheDog moment, but it gets subverted in some way. In "Miracle Lake" for instance, he originally seemed like he was going to use a rope to help Denzel and Ethel escape an ice chasm they fell into. Instead, he drops it in the chasm with him, where it's ''completely useless''. He even tells them [[SuicideDare they should use it to hang themselves]] and then abandons them without looking back.
** Almost ''every'' time Malloy does something nice, he has an ulterior motive behind it. In "Miss National Park", for instance, he agrees to help Connie win a beauty pageant. However, this is only because he wanted the prize (a ticket to UsefulNotes/{{China}}) so he could travel there and get {{disproportionate|retribution}} vengeance on a BrattyHalfPint.
* KarmaHoudini: Whether it's playing a corrupt lawyer or insulting people, Malloy rarely gets hurt by his jerk ass actions (unless you count the pilot episode where he gets raped by Bobby after being lured into his trailer with promises of junk food). It helps that his "owner" is little more than a personal servant and walking ATM. Ironically, one time when he ''does'' suffer, he hasn't actually done anything wrong, and the suffering comes from him trying to live on his own after a magical fortune teller machine turns him into an adult bear.
* KillerRabbit: He's a small, cute, and furry critter... but ''don't'' give him a gun.
* LackOfEmpathy: Dear god does this bear not care about the well being of anyone but himself.
* LaughablyEvil: He is, to put it mildly, quite unpleasant and ruthless, but his blunt remarks and childish antics with the other character do make him rather entertaining to watch.
* LovesTheSoundOfScreaming: If that [[PsychoticSmirk smile]] he gives while [[ItMakesSenseInContext listening to one of Woody's girlfriends scream]] says anything.
* ManipulativeBastard: He's surprisingly good at manipulation and trickery.
* MaskOfSanity: He's normally good at hiding the fact he's [[AxCrazy unstable]].
* MisterBig: He becomes the leader of Latin Kings (a prison gang) in [[AlliterativeTitle "Sacred Straight"]], seems to be its smallest member, and is TheNapoleon.
* MoralityPet: He is the only thing keeping Woody from becoming even ''more'' unstable and manic than he already is. Malloy is even referred to as Woody's "therapy pet" on several occasions.
* TheNapoleon: Tiny and has his moments of being pushy towards others.
* NiceGuy: Flashbacks reveal [[UsedToBeASweetKid he was rather nice when he was younger]]. Nowadays, however...

* PsychopathicManchild: Despite being an adult in bear years (his short stature notwithstanding), he is obsessed with video games and junk food, [[AttentionWhore always wants to be in the spotlight]], has violent tantrums when he doesn't get his way, bullies others for amusement, and has committed numerous crimes, including murder. Due to his own immaturity, he even was able to pretend to be a youngster in "Little Boy Malloy" and blend well in with the other kids.
* PsychoticSmirk: When he's in the malicious mode, he can make evil-looking smiles.
* RaisedByHumans: He's a bear who was raised by Woody, a human, for most of his life.

* UngratefulBastard: Being grateful seems to be a foreign concept to Malloy.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Despite being rude, cynical, and [[AxCrazy unstable]] now, several flashbacks show he didn't have these traits when he was younger and that he was a NiceGuy. For instance, the beginning of "Woody's Girl" shows a flashback when Malloy was a baby, and he tells Woody he loves him. In the present, Malloy is chasing Woody with a gun.
* VillainProtagonist: Is the closest thing to a recurring BigBad in the series and is one of the main characters of the show.
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: Has shades of this in "The Animals Strike Back" in which he wants to kill the ranger who killed his parents. Also, as awful as his actions are, his FreudianExcuse is genuinely tragic; when he was a ''cub'', [[HarmfulToMinors he found his parents after they were shot in their heads and he watched his mother die]] while she told him not to forget them and where he came from.
* VillainousGlutton: He frequently uses Woody's credit card balance to purchase all sorts of junk food.
* VocalDissonance: He has quite a deep voice, courtesy of Daniel Tosh, for a two-foot-tall bear. It does fit his [[{{Jerkass}} personality]], though, and does make it clear he is actually an adult.
* WouldHitAGirl: [[PlayedForLaughs Played for Grim Laughs]] once or twice, though he throws a stone at a woman in one episode. Given his sexism, this fits him.

One of the rangers who work at the station and Steve's best friend. He is a total fuck up at his job since he's a complete coward who's afraid of the forest and all wildlife in general.

* PointyHairedBoss: He started a forest fire to impress a higher-up, siphons park funds for his birthday party, keeps a bear cub as a pet after one of his workers ran over and accidentally shot the cub's parents, signs permits indiscriminately (and often under the influence), keeps a bunch of grossly incompetent employers around (even though Ethel is said to be the only one who actually does her job and can be trusted with responsibilities and he can't fire Denzel, since there's a high chance he'll sue for racial discrimination), etc. Really, it's a long list.

* TheSociopath: A low-functioning example. On a regular basis, he mistreats his employees -- [[LoserProtagonist Steve]] in particular -- and is even willing to [[BadBoss put their lives in jeopardy]] when doing so would [[{{Greed}} benefit him in some way]] or will [[ItAmusedMe amuse him]]. He [[LackOfEmpathy never expresses regret]] for his actions. He has a constant need to be the [[AttentionWhore center of attention]] and is [[PsychopathicManchild prone to having destructive tantrums when things do not go his way]]. He also [[WouldHurtAChild mistreats children]] and [[HeManWomanHater women]], having enslaved, abused, and even killed a good amount of them. In several flashbacks from his time in the military, he is shown [[DirtyCoward abandoning his comrades to their deaths]], even after claiming to be blood brothers with one of them.

* PsychopathicManchild: He is an adult in bear years (being very small notwithstanding), yet he is obsessed with video games and candy, always wants to be [[AttentionWhore the center of attention]] no matter what, throws violent temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way, bullies others for his amusement, and has committed countless crimes (murder included). He was even disguised as a child in "Little Boy Malloy" and fit in perfectly with the other children due to his own immaturity.

* EntitledBastard: Malloy continually calls Ethel a slut and generally treats her like shit. He still expects her to let him live with her in the governor's mansion if she is elected governor despite putting on a clear BitchInSheepClothing act. Even worse, he had the audacity to become upset when she politely declined his advances. Given that [[PushoverParents Woody]] [[SpoiledBrat spoilt him throughout most of his youth]], [[JustifiedTrope it wouldn't be unexpected if that contributed to his sense of entitlement]].

* EntitledBastard: Throughout the series, Malloy repeatedly slut-shames Ethel and overall acts like a jerkass around her. And yet, while putting up a blatant BitchInSheepsClothing act, he still expects her to let him live in the governor's mansion with her if she becomes governor. He even had the gall to be angry when she understandably turned him down. Considering [[SpoiledBrat he was spoiled]] by [[PushoverParents Woody]] for most of his life, [[JustifiedTrope it wouldn't be surprising if that affected his sense of entitlement]].

* JerkassToOne: He is no saint by any means, but he is especially abusive towards Steve, even willing to endanger the latter's life whenever it suits him.

* VillainProtagonist: He is amoral, callous, self-centered, and arrogant; he frequently treats his employees badly and is more than willing to risk their lives in exchange for a meager payment.
