* AsskickingEqualsAuthority: Can kick a lot of ass. Look at what he does to the gang that harasses Priya; with Madan Chopra and his gang, he defeats and kills all of them before dying of his wounds.

* AmbiguousSituation: Did Ajay love Seema or did he not? Certain monologues of his indicate he actually did. Did Ajay love Priya?

* Anti-Villain: Wants to avenge his family and get back his company for his family. Too bad that entails killing innocent people along the way.

* BadassNormal: Faces a gang of four and beats all of them up with only a small cut. Faces Madan Chopra and his trained thugs, and kills all of them. The only reason he died afterward was because of Madan Chopra being a *Dirty Coward*.
* BackstabBackfire: Madan Chopra stabs him after Ajay spares his life. Ajay simply laughs, and stabs Madan Chopra with the weapon still in him.

* VillainProtagonist: Ajay becomes more and more of this as the story progresses. He kills Seema, his seeming fiance in the beginning, in cold blood and kills other innocents along the way.

* AdjustingYourGlasses: Ajay does this a few times throughout the movie. He is shown doing this after killing one of his victims. The glasses adjustment just goes to show how much of a psycho Ajay is.

* VillainProtagonist: Ajay becomes more and more of this as the story progresses. He kills Seema, his seeming fiance in the beginning, in cold blood and kills other innocents along the way.

* Action Hero: Played with, see villain protagonist. Despite his seemingly benign appearance, Ajay often uses violence to achieve his means. He defends Priya from a gang of thugs and fights to defend his mother and himself from Madan Chopra and his thugs.

* Alas, Poor Villain: While Ajay definitely deserved what was coming to him in the end, you can't help but feel sorry for him as he dies in his mother's arms.
