* JumpedAtTheCall: Just check out the way his face lights up when he first hears his supervillain name. When he comes back in "Revenge of the Rogues", it's obvious that he revels in the opportunity to be a bona fide supervillain.

* HeterosexualLifePartners: He and Mick have been friends for a long time. Although as shown in ''Doomworld'' he does tend to look down on Mick and treats him more like an attack dog at times than a full-fledged partner.

** In "Doomworld", his ideal future is to own every bank in Central City so he can break into them and escape scoot free without the cops getting in the way.

* ForTheEvulz: Snart is primary a criminal for fun. He does it because he's good at it and not out of necessity. This is highlighted in ''Doomworld'' wherein Snart's ideal reality is one that allows him to rob banks without being arrested by the police since he owns the banks he breaks into.

In the final battle, after Doomworld Mick proclaims his loyalty to the Legends, Snart responds by shooting him in the back with the cold gun and killing him.

Originally the two joined soley for the chance to rob and kill on the side, but being around such noble companions forced the two to mature (though Mick still kept his rough edge) into unlike heroes -- Snart would sacrifice himself to save his team from the Time Masters.

* AffablyEvil: For a CardCarryingVillain, Snart isn't all bad, and, as Sara finds out in the pilot, he can be pretty good company.

* TheBadGuyWins: Mostly during ''Series/TheFlash2014'' Season One.
** The outcome of his first episode. He gets everything he wants, defeats the Flash, leaves him alive out of his own volition and walks away scot-free.
** Kind of wins again when he returns in "Revenge of the Rogues". While he wasn't able to get rid of the Flash, he accomplishes his other goal to at least expose the Flash to the public and still escapes prison at the end, as he prepared a Prison (Transport) Break in case he gets arrested. However, as of right now he and Mick lost their high-tech guns; still, this might be just a minor issue for him, since he and Mick are now familiar enough with the weapons' technology so they now might be able to make their own.

** An episode of ''Series/TheFlash2014'' mentions the ''Franchise/LawAndOrder'' franchise. His actor guest starred on the Season Eleven premiere of ''Series/LawAndOrderSVU'' and [[WhatCouldHaveBeen was intended to be]] a RecurringCharacter.

* CommutingOnABus: Despite being KilledOffForReal in "Destiny", he continues making numerous postmortem appearances on ''Series/TheFlash2014'' or ''Series/LegendsOfTomorrow'' either through flashbacks, hallucinations, projections, or time travel.

* DidntSeeThatComing: Didn't think that Flash would let himself get hit by both guns to force the streams to cross. But he was aware of the possibility of losing, and had a backup plan.

* ForgottenFallenFriend: Defied. When Barry gathers everyone to fight the Dominators, he notes Snart's absence among the Legends and pulls Ray Palmer aside to ask what happened. The two share a brief but solemn acknowledgement of his HeroicSacrifice.

* GoMadFromTheRevelation: Learning that his future self become a hero and performs a HeroicSacrifice has made him more aggressive than he normally is.

* HeroicSacrifice: Let the irony sink in. Cold sacrifices his life to destroy the Occulus.

* ILied: However, he does also point and that he's a criminal and a thief, so trusting him isn't exactly a guarantee.

* ItsPersonal: His reason for going after Savage. He may not have known Carter from Adam (his words), but Carter was part of his crew all the same, so killing him put Savage on Cold's shit list.

* JumpedAtTheCall: Just check out the way his face lights up when he first hears his supervillain name. When he comes back in Revenge of the Rogues, it's obvious that he revels in the opportunity to be a bona fide supervillain.

* TheLancer: He, The Atom and White Canary share this role, as they all stepped in leadership role on a few occasions Rip is not around or in some kind of funk.

* ManOfKryptonite: His FreezeRay was specifically built by Cisco to counter the Flash in case he ever went rogue. It was stolen by a janitor working at S.T.A.R labs who tried to sell it to Leonard who promptly used it on him. It turns Leonard from a skilled, yet petty thief to an dangerous threat. That said, Snart doesn't consider it to be the Flash's real weakness, but rather his need to help others.

* NotInThisForYourRevolution: He and Heat Wave stay on the team just for the opportunity to kill people and steal stuff. And later to avenge Carter's death. Eventually, he does come around to the rest of the team's viewpoint, but Rory doesn't. [[spoiler:Not at first, anyway.]]

* PersonalityPowers: Well, it's a gun rather than his own power, but he's still a stoic, calm professional that gets a cold gun. Justified since he specifically chooses the cold gun, even rejecting the heat gun he's offered before. Even before that, however, he used a liquid nitrogen projector in heists.

** Before he gives Cisco the ultimatum of revealing the Flashs' identity or his brother will be killed, Snart tells Cisco that he genuinely admires and respects him for all the hard work he's done in working to escape his difficult childhood situation and make something out of himself. Snart does this without any hint of irony or sarcasm and it's plain that he is completely sincere.

* PromotionToParent: Given the aforementioned Abusive Parents, it's implied that Leonard was Lisa's caregiver growing up. Lisa confirms it in "Family of Rogues," claiming that having Lenny as an influence rather than their father alone is the reason the siblings are not worse than bank robbers packing powerful firearms.

* RedOniBlueOni: He and Mick as their elements and ColorMotif suggest. He's the more levelheaded, methodical and calculating of the two (Blue).

* TokenEvilTeammate: His role in the team, along with Heat Wave. He starts to grow out of it.

* TookALevelInKindness: Snart is rather more personable than he was on ''Series/TheFlash2014''. He's still a criminal, and hardly the kindliest of individuals, but he's at least advanced from FauxAffablyEvil to genuinely AffablyEvil.
