* SassyBlackWoman: She is Elvis' mother-figure who helps run his day-to-day life while he's off working for the government. She's also pretty snarky, as the trailer has her fearlessly mouthing off to both Scatter and Elvis himself.

* GoodScarsEvilScars: He has a long, vertical scar running across his right eye. While he's one of the good guys, he's also one of Elvis' more problematic allies. The trailers show him getting into various antics like prematurely shooting a man Elvis was interrogating and vomiting messily all over a casino table after drinking a lot.

* TheAlcoholic: Both the teaser and trailer show him drinking a lot; in one scene, he vomits messily all over a casino table after one drink too many, disgusting some of the casino-goers when it gets on them. Bertie calls him out for it.

* AxCrazy: He’s an absolutely off-the-chain primate. Not only is he TheAlcoholic, but he’s also trigger-happy (he prematurely shoots a man Elvis was interrogating in the teaser after interpreting his owner's words literally) and prone to getting into shenanigans when Elvis isn't around. At one point in the trailer, Elvis has to make it a necessary instruction for him to stay inside a car and not go off to get "coked-up hookers" in the trailer.
* FlippingTheBird: He does this with both hands at a casino table in the trailer.

* HookersAndBlow: It's implied he engaged in this before; in the trailer, Elvis makes a point to leave Scatter with Bobby Ray in the car so the former wouldn't use Elvis' absence as an opportunity to go off buying "coked-up hookers".

* NonHumanSidekick: He's Elvis' trouble-making pet chimp, as seen in the teaser and trailer.

* BadassCape: This being Elvis, both the teaser and trailers feature him in outfits that have capes. He also works as a government agent when he isn't a rock-and-roll musician, which means he kicks a lot of ass in this show.

* BigDamnHeroes: The trailer has him showing up in a chopper as Elvis is besieged by a gang of mooks, shouting a PreMortemOneLiner before [[HelicopterBlender taking the mooks out]].

* HelicopterBlender: In the trailer, he takes out a gang of mooks with the propeller of a chopper to save Elvis, who was besieged by said gang.

* PreMortemOneLiner: He shouts, "Time to mow the fucking lawn!" before taking out a gang of mooks with the propeller of a helicopter in the trailer.
