When one thinks of origami, the first thought that comes to mind is the cultural elegance of the art of paper folding. An activity that most can partake in, origami is a transformative art, turning a flat square of paper into a delicate sculpture. While a source of inspiration for many to pick up the skill, the name is perhaps more commonly associated with the rise of lacquer-coated paper origami jewellery.

But for the teenager with the title of the Super High School Level Origamist, navigating the ever-changing landscape of this field is just another average day. At seventeen years of age, Akira is a petite, soft-spoken young man with an eye for his craft. On his Youtube channel are several tutorials and demonstration videos, though his presence online goes back even earlier then that, in clips uploaded by other members of the public. His online store, A Thousand Cranes, features mainly jewellery with paper cranes, though seasonal pieces are also available. The purpose of an argument is to come to an eventual consensus in the end, and while it may take some time, usually that very thing happens. The individuals involved sometimes agree to disagree, even, and move on with their lives. However, in times where the two parties simply cannot make ends meet, a third party (known as a mediator in some cases) may interject, and help tie those pieces together to which everyone is at least somewhat satisfied with the end result. Enter Alastair Crawford, a man with the unstoppable combination of a golden voice, and a silver tongue.

The nineteen year old man earned the title of the Super High School Level Negotiator through many different lengths. Ever since he was at the young age of fourteen, he would often be brought into situations to mediate little scuffles between his classmates. Though, in comparison to his biggest accomplishments, that is simply the tip of the iceberg. He has made national headlines internationally, whether it be from his home country of England, or all across Japan itself. The news details how he has made even the most execrable of international leaders come to a consencus and an agreement, all within the span of a mere hour or two. Such feats in persuasion has been claimed by those around him to be that of another world.

Starting to beachcomb as a hobby, soon enough Alma Lucero had become well known locally for the fact that she kept the beaches clean. Starting to make jewellery out of what she found, it wasn’t long until Alma was just another reason it was popular to visit the seaside tourist town that she had grown up in. Aside from what she does, not much is actually known about her personal life, but what is known is that she’s spoken up against bullying quite a few times. Since moving to Japan to attend Hope’s Peak, she’s also started to comb its beaches and has had the opportunity to sell more of what she finds there.

However, what she’s most accredited for is her observations regarding what’s brought in by the tide. Keeping a solid record of what she finds at all times, her findings about the ocean in the local area have been cited at least once or twice as she has one of the most extensive records of a beach considering she walks from one side to another on a near daily basis. From her keen interest, she very well could have a promising future in oceanography.

Cyprien Travere is a man famous for pulling his family world traveling group from the dead and rebranding it, “The Zodiac Troupe”. Over the years, the troupe has let go and accepted many entertainers in the span of the group’s career. The group was originally run by Cyprien’s father, Abraham Travere, and his wife, Jeanne Travere, but the two unfortunately have been arrested for neglect after their first son had been in a tragic accident during one of their practices. It is unclear whether or not the parents were the true cause of his death or it was a blatant murder, but they have been sentenced to 12 years in prison by court ruling. Now alone with only his ever changing group, Cyprien has been traveling the world in order to bring his family’s group to new heights of fame. He’s currently been to 5 continents, not including Antarctica, having planned to tour Australia sometime in the future and has garnered as much support as he has suspicion due to a few rumors spreading about him and his family.

In his time as a Ringleader, Cyprien has gone through around 2 different groups after the incident that occured within Cyprien’s own circus, where his circus had burned down, leaving him as one of two survivors, many referring to this mystery killer Ophiuchus. He still decided it was best to continue, though he had closed himself heavily from the outside world. He has never accepted any interviews, has talked even less about his plans or private life, and has never made public appearances outside of his performances causing fans of his eager to latch onto anything that could be given about him, no matter the validity, thus the rumors. Lately, the rumors have stopped coming from its original source, which have lead to others creating their own as a form of copycat rumors.

If you were to pick a name from a hat containing every student from across Japan, there’s almost a 100% guarantee that you’ll be reading aloud ‘Daichi Mizushima’. He is widely known as this year’s Ultimate Lucky Student, enrolled in Hope’s Peak Academy with a long line of achievements following behind him to prove this isn’t just a one-time deal. He’s been picked out of raffles to see multiple celebrities, won the Mega Millions the first time he entered it, never broken a single bone in his life, and at the age of eighteen-years-old, this boy has a life ahead of him filled with miracles and success.

His parents are also living the life of success, so the money gained only pushes them to strive for greater things. Ayumu Kawaguchi, Daichi’s father, is known for his leaps and bounds in studying electrical signals and cognitive research in the human brain, creating theories and technology to limit the side-effects to certain medications so those who take it can live a better life. On the flipside, Yuina Mizushima, his mother, has devoted her life to overseeing people’s recoveries from traumatic events. She regularly consults with psychiatrists and therapists in order to gather data, showing how an adolescent brain may change based on specific events or what reactions might occur based on stimulation. Daichi has grown up around both of these intelligent adults and has proven to have an interest in this field as well. With all of the money earned from raffles and lotteries, he says he has donated it all to scientific research and is currently doing some of his own himself.

Eighteen is an internet star well known for their online fame in the world of fashion. They are quite well versed in the fashion industry and they can be found on their channel on Mewtube, where they discuss new and up and coming fashion trends, give fashion advice, and talk about everything clothes. Eighteen has a very strong fan base, and even reaches somewhat out into the public world, often being asked to do interviews and other things of the like, to which they decline most of.

Not much is known of Eighteens life, everything they have revealed is only known because of their videos. They were originally from Korea, and grew up with a very loving family. Fashion was a big part of their family from a young age. Later in life they moved to Japan, and that's when their channel really took off. Eighteen became a hit over night, both because of their genuinely interesting videos, but also because of the mystery of the bag they wear on their face. You can't look at the comments of their videos without seeing hundreds asking, “who are you?” The rest was history, Eighteen is now a student attending Hope's Peak Academy as the SHSL Fashion Vlogger.

Born in Turin, Italy, he was gifted with the special ability to see those who are no longer amongst the living and other ghastly ghouls that go bump in the night. With this god given power he has done his part since he was a small child of 5 years helping those in his city communicate and get a final conversation in with their deceased loved ones even though he could barely hold a conversation himself. He gradually became famous for his gift and many would come to him and ask for his assistance. Things were going well until he stopped taking requests when he was 10 and disappeared from the public view. He wasn’t heard of again until the age of 14 when it was reported that he had defeated the demonic presence that was possessing a girl in Russia.

His disappearance was nothing more than his training period to become a proper exorcist. Being back in the public's eyes Emberto was able to tell the news that he was taken in by the Vatican and given explicit permission to study under the current Pope and company in order to quickly earn his credentials and become ordained as an official Exorcist. Many skeptics berated him but he paid them no attention. His faith must never falter if he ever wants to stand against any evil presence that may come his way. He has defeated any and all possible demonic reports that come his way. No matter how few in number they are he completes them with a passion. Never quitting till the people affected can live peacefully. Hope’s peak heard of his endeavors and became quite curious to his ability and the fact that even the Pope saw something special in him to where he would take the time to teach the young boy personally.

Hyo-rin Park, better known as Hori, is a South Korean singer. She debuted as the Center and Main Vocalist of the popular K-Pop girl group ‘BLS 5.’ (Pronounced as Bliss Five). She is very well known for her cute and unique vocals, as well as her numerous crossover hits with the K-Pop boy group ‘D8.’ She is most well known for BLS 5’s song, ‘We Got It.’

Hyo-rin Park was born in Busan, South Korea. Very little is known about her family or home life, but Hyo-rin has been cited saying she feels closest to her father. She has also frequently mentioned that her grandparents didn’t accept her desire to become an idol, but that has only spurred her to work even harder and make them proud.

Crown Prince Jinan Nejem is the third royal child of Aineikas, a small country in the Middle East famous for its luxury exports market. As a paragon of strength and athleticism, the publically nicknamed ‘Prince of Shards’ has made his name in the world of mixed martial arts in record time. Don’t let his title fool you; he fights both in and out of the ring with honor and grace worthy of a boy of his upbringing, making sure that each opponent he faces is treated to a fair fight. Although some have tried to defeat him through cheating or using weaponry, none have succeeded and were swiftly dispensed by his hand. An expert in combat involving multiple opponents, Jinan currently holds the world record for Most Opponents K.O.’d in a single match.

Kaito Kawaguchi is a japanese eighteen-year-old atmospheric scientist known for his work in bringing advances in this world of study. After self-experimentation and a series of unfortunate situations, Kaito has thankfully made leaps and bounds in contributing to atmospheric science studies as well as in the areas of physiological and psychological sciences. He has refused to talk about what has occurred, though. He has traumatic scars both physically and mentally, and is a different person from who he once was. His parents both have agreed that while they’re both proud of their child for graduating from a prestigious private school and creating a successful life for himself, they also fear for his health and mental stability.

Kaito has stated that he would like to take a break from the copious amounts of research and catch up with his family and fleeting adolescence as well as to treat the medical issues that have arose after the events that have happened recently. It seems as though he had originally rejected their Hope’s Peak Academy acceptance letter, but later accepted it. HPA is happy to welcome Kaito in with open arms. His expertise and experience in the science field alongside his parents’ knowledge are greatly valued at the school. Hope’s Peak wants to ensure his safety though, so his experimentations has been put on hold. As requested, HPA will be helping to cover some of Kaito’s medical bills in order for him to stay at the school without an issue for his family.

Karisa Kiriyama, professionally known as [=KiraKira=], is the star of the reality detective program, Sparkling Private Eye, [=KiraKira=]. She began her career at age 10, as the sidekick to detective Hoshi Hamada in the television program, Hoshi Hamada: Detective of the Stars. Following the abrupt cancellation of the program, [=KiraKira=] was offered her own television show, featuring her in the title role, and has starred in it for the last five years.

In addition to her detective work, she has also made one-off appearances and cameos in various films and tv shows. The theme song to Sparkling Private Eye, [=KiraKira=], “Sky is the Limit,” sung by [=KiraKira=] herself has also managed to chart at number one on the Japanese Billboard charts. Moriko first made her presence known as the small, cloaked figure attending every funeral in the Hokkaido area. Within the next few days, rocks bearing the names of the dead and increasingly-intricate designs would appear across town, from parks and gardens to the side of the road, never in the same place twice. Living relatives could provide no insight into their origin, but they were harmless or even welcome additions to the community, so...they stayed. Only recently has she revealed herself as the source, marking her newer creations in order to follow them as they passed from hand to hand.

The hashtag exploded, pictures taken all over the country and beyond, bringing memories of the dead to their favorite places in life and to those they had never visited. Other artists have taken up her work, but none as distinctive or elaborate as the originals; she refuses to share her "secret", only that she is guided by the spirits themselves. She has offered to meet in person with anyone who has further questions and cannot be reached online. While her clients often remark on how little she talks, they almost always walk away satisfied.

The company, which employs nearly 25,000 associates, includes Fujiwara Vacation Clubs and Fujiwara Vacation Rentals.

As the youngest CEO in world’s recorded history, Ms. Fujiwara continues to astound world renowned corporate leaders with her quick rise to power and immediate stable control of Fujiwara Destinations after Minoru Fujiwara, the previous CEO and father to Ms. Fujiwara, had resigned his position due to an unforeseen death within the immediate family.

However, despite former president Minoru Fujiwara’s long-term grievances, Ms. Fujiwara continues to run Fujiwara Destinations with no signs of stock market drops since filling the position and will continue to be passionate in her commitment to Fujiwara Destinations’ diverse, inclusive community of associates and its global spirit of hospitality.

Yuna Avila-Kim, the SHSL Heart Surgeon, would not be where she is today without her family. As the daughter of Hyoyeon Avila-Kim, the CEO of Busan Medical Center, one of South Korea’s largest hospitals, and Jove Avila-Kim, a pioneer in cancer research, Kim has been surrounded by medicine and science since birth. She began studying medicine at Seoul National University when she was just 12, graduating only three years later. A little over a year later, she became a full-fledged heart surgeon working in her mother’s hospital. Kim is known as a miracle worker in her field, and has saved many lives despite the impossible odds.

The youngest person to become the national Hanafuda champion, Yuuto Hanagawa became a sensation among Hanafuda players, seemingly overnight. These critics, however, are almost always won over by his passion for the game and his friendly personality!

Ariadne Moretti has been a teacher for Hope's Peak Academy for nearly five years. She has a reputation for being a bit of a hard-ass, but even so, her students seem to like her. There doesn't seem to be much information about Ariadne's past, but that's only because she claims she was only a normal woman until being hired by Hope's Peak Academy. In spite of her claims, considering her height and physical beauty, some suspect she may have once attended the school as a SHSL Supermodel.

Other than her talent, it seems Ariadne has been wed recently to Jade Moretti, a well known name in the jewelry world, as she once attended Hope's Peak as the SHSL Jewelry Maker. Neither women have spoken a word about how they met or came together, but Jade expresses their happiness as a couple.

Amora is the mascot and hostess for the Crescent Moon Resort. She has become immensely popular due to her cute and exciting appearance befitting of a casino. The hotel boasts an exorbitant amount of features for the hologram, though critics have expressed concerns over Amora's sentience. The hotel assures that Amora is completely under control and has no sentience to speak of.
