* GlowingEyesOfDoom / RedEyesTakeWarning: In Chapter 4, when San takes control and brutally slaughters Jonah's mercenaries. And again in their final form during the FinalBattle.

But Vivienne and San are benevolent and want to live in peace, whereas Ghidorah is utterly sadistic and finds purpose in destruction. * ItsRainingMen: Rodan drops them off next to Yonaguni this way in [[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13357907/13/ Chapter 13]].
* JaggedMouth: In their first form, Viv and San have this trope's first and fourth types (hinting at animalistic nature and also a horrific-looking but ultimately benevolent creature). Vivienne's head has ingrown serrated teeth on either side of her jaws, whilst the author's art depicts San's head with a jagged mouth-shape.

* LightLiegeDarkDefender: Somewhat. At first, San and Vivienne have this kind of dynamic, although since becoming a SiblingTeam they're roughly equal in terms of BewareTheNiceOnes.
* LightningBruiser: It's large, fast and extremely tough.
* LightningReveal: [=MaNi=]/Elder Brother spots them via a lightning-flash amid the darkness in Berezniki in Chapter 17.
* LogicalWeakness: It's speculated in Chapter 16 and [[https://hrodvitnon.tumblr.com/post/656464198292881408/ confirmed by the author]] that because of how differently Monster X's HealingFactor works compared to Ghidorah's, [[spoiler:it can't regrow a duplicate if San or Vivienne's head is decapitated from it]].
* LongLived: [[spoiler:Ghidorah's middle head]] implies in Chapter 14 that Monster X is this at the very least, and it's probably even TheAgeless like Ghidorah.

* MeaningfulLook: They make it clear with but a glare at Rodan that they know he brought Manda to a Titan warzone and are unhappy about it, even if he had a point that Manda was more unsafe being left unsupervised at his original location; in Chapter 17.
* MeaningfulName: It was named Monster X in reference to Ghidorah's Monster Zero designation, due to the two-headed Titan's resemblance. Its ProtagonistTitle name in Chapter 10 is based on the [[UsefulNotes/{{Gnosticism}} Gnostic figure]].
* MentalFusion: [[spoiler:Viv and San experience this once they metamorphose into their single-headed final form. As a result, their default mental state is a merger of both their personalities which refers to themself as a singular being; although Viv and San's personalities retain their individuality and they can split out of this merged personality back into the original two in order to speak separately]].

His mind survives inside the head that's ripped off by Godzilla. He's responsible for storing, reviving and transforming Vivienne's body inside his decapitated head before transferring his consciousness to the resulting hybrid’s second brain, becoming Vivienne's brother as part of Monster X. He functions as the secondary head.

* AffectionateNickname: After they become [[FireForgedFriends Fire-Forged Siblings]], Vivienne sometimes calls him "brother" instead of the name she gave him.
* AlternateSelf: Having come from the severed Ghidorah-head, he only has memories of Ghidorah's actions up to the head's decapitation, and doesn't remember what his doppelgänger that Ghidorah's body regrew atop Rodan's volcano did before it and his brothers died at Boston -- kind of like an outdated backup file copy. * AppropriatedAppellation: As of Chapter 8, he’s rejecting Ghidorah’s name entirely, and has taken the nickname Vivienne knows him by as his new name.
* AscendedExtra: He's one of the two main protagonists alongside Vivienne, who gets a delightful deal of expansion and CharacterDevelopment, whereas in ''King of the Monsters'' he was 1/3 of the BigBad[='s=] MultipleHeadCase.
