Scarfolk is trapped in the '70s. Not [[DiscoStu trapped in the '70s]], but ''[[GroundhogDayLoop trapped]]'' [[GroundhogDayLoop in the '70s.]] The entire decade just loops ad infinitum. Modern day events seem to reverberate in Scarfolk, penetrating the TimeyWimeyBall it's trapped in to some extent, but the hapless citizens are stuck there with the [[CrapsackWorld oppressive, orwellian Town Council]], [[EverythingTryingToKillYou the nightmarish flora and fauna]], and the occasional rogue [[OminousOwl Owlchild]]. It's the '70s of terrifying {{Public Service Announcement}}s, ''Series/{{Doomwatch}}'' and ''Film/TheStoneTape''. Only worse.

* AluminumChristmasTrees: Scarfolk helped produce [[http://scarfolk.blogspot.com/2015/12/unreleased-star-wars-merchandise.html Star Wars-themed medical supplies]] in the 1970's.
