On" plays in-universe as Matt blasts it on his sound-system after waking up from his sensory deprivation tank. It opens with a memorable guitar riff that segues brilliantly into a hard-hitting chorus, perfectly setting the tone for the story of a doggedly determined urban vigilante.

"Had a memorable tune" is too vague to qualify as context. What's memorable about it?

This is grammatically awkward as written.

* Bullseye being introduced with Music/HouseOfPain's "Top o' the Morning To Ya", a hard-hitting hip-hop number with lyrics fitting him as a glove, being proud of his Irish roots and of loving himself some bloodshed.

Fittingly for a film about a superhero with enhanced hearing, the music is hugely prominent in the film. The soundtrack is also one of the best collections of NuMetal ever assembled:
----
* Music/DrowningPool and Music/RobZombie's "Man Without Fear" was written especially for the film (although the title being Daredevil's RedBaron probably gave it away) and was Drowning Pool's first song to be released following the death of original frontman Dave Williams in 2002.
* "Right Before Your Eyes" by Music/{{Hoobastank}} playing as a young blinded Matt is comforted by his father, and later as he explores his superpowers in the city and defeats the bullies tormenting him from earlier.
