* The King ups the ante from ''Undertale'' in, well, [[IncrediblyLamePun spades]]. He consistently messes with your dodging area in ways that would have [[ThatOneBoss Sans]] taking notes, forcing you to stay moving, and has an absolutely badass BossRemix of the Card Castle music to go with it.

* The FinalBoss of the Neutral Route, Photoshop Flowey, is an amazing fight. The buildup for it is great, as when Flowey gets the souls that Asgore gathered, the game window closes. Upon booting the game back up, the opening sequence glitches out and your save file has been seemingly hijacked by Flowey. Selecting this file leads to a terrifying battle with the power-mad flower, who has turned into a strange but terrfying EldritchAbomination comprising photo-realistic faces, mechanical parts, and plants. You don't even get to use your menu commands at first. Instead, you simply have to survive, dodging several bizarre and erratic attacks. To cap it off, he can save state during the fight, which he can later load to catch you off guard. The whole fight in all has been compared to [[VideoGame/EarthBound Giygas]] and [[VideoGame/RadiantSilvergun Stone]][[VideoGame/{{Ikaruga}} -Like]] in its unexpected creepiness.

* Mad Dummy. His battle style is different from anything else in the game. Instead of fighting or sparing him, you need to lead the attacks of his own Dummy Bots into him. The dialogue is nothing to sneeze at either, with his LargeHam tendencies, his firing all of his minions for their ineptitude, and him being based on [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure one of the most popular and effective villains in the history of manga]]. To top it all off, the music is a [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic really cool remix of an earlier theme]].

* Mettaton EX's battle starts with him revealing that the entire 'killer robot' routine was a hoax Alphys created with Mettaton's help to make Alphys look good. In fact, Mettaton doesn't want to kill humans; it's his lifelong dream to perform for them. Mettaton tells the player that Asgore will almost definitely beat them and proceed to destroy humanity, and he simply cannot let that happen. The fight includes (in no particular order): an epic TransformationSequence, unique sparing mechanics, bombs being shot out the sky, pop quizzes, viewer call-ins, a smoke machine, lots of poses, [[ItMakesSenseInContext tiny robots floating in and attacking the player with hearts,]] and [[ShesGotLegs Mettaton's legs.]] All watched by the entire underground on live television. It ends with Mettaton realizing, after the aforementioned viewer call-ins, how much he means to his fans in the underground, and how much [[PetTheDog they mean to him.]] Still not convinced? The battle theme is called 'Death By Glamour'.

* Muffet's battle takes Papyrus's battle's reason for being awesome and takes it UpToEleven. First, she throws her movement curveball--having to move along and jump between three tracks to dodge waves of spiders, [[EdibleAmmunition donuts, and croissants]]--on her first turn. Then she curveballs ''that'' by [[InterfaceScrew making the bullet box move]] while still throwing spiders at you, which in turn precedes her sending her pet to chase you, requiring you to [[RiseToTheChallenge climb up the webs to avoid it]] [[RuleOfThree while still dodging spiders.]] While frustrating for first time players, the unique mechanics make it one of the most complex and thrilling battles in the game. [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic The upbeat battle music is the icing on the cake.]]

** Susie and Lancer fight as a team, complete with a [[VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiSuperstarSaga Popple and Rookie]]-esque duo attack, and features a lot of [[Funny/{{Deltarune}} funny banter]] between the characters.

** The first battle against Berdly [[InterestingSituationDuel takes place on a moving rollercoaster]], and the second is between him, Kris, and Noelle. Both fights feature some very unique and tricky bullet patterns, and are backed up by [[AwesomeMusic/{{Deltarune}} an epic boss theme]].

* The minor bosses are no slouch in the creativity department either. Susie and Lancer fight as a team, complete with a [[VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiSuperstarSaga Popple and Rookie]]-esque duo attack, and the second fight with K. Round implements a trajectory system just so you can [[FastballSpecial hurl Ralsei at him]] for a speedy victory.

* Chapter 2's {{Superboss}} Spamton NEO, in a way, delivers on something fans of ''Undertale'' had wanted for years; a ''true'' battle against [[ZeroEffortBoss Mettaton NEO]]. It takes the [[UnexpectedShmupLevel Yellow SOUL]] mechanics and expands on them, adding a [[BIG SHOT]] and power-ups that Susie and Ralsei can create using TP, while Spamton's... ''[[TalkativeLoon eccentric]]'' personality gives him a whole array of bizarre attacks for you to deal with. Topping it all off is the music, which takes elements from "Power of NEO" and "THE WORLD REVOLVING" and combines them with Spamton's own theme to incredible effect.
** Spamton NEO is even upgraded to FinalBoss status in the Weird Route, where he's even ''more'' of a challenge than he was before. Not only are his attack patterns faster, but Kris is on their own, meaning you have to cycle between attacks and healing while dodging Spamton's bullet patterns. Even in a path as [[DarkerAndEdgier grimdark]] as the Weird Route, Spamton doesn't hold back on the [[FountainOfMemes memorable quips]], "[[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic BIG SHOT]]" is still blaring in the background in all its glory, and it's topped off with being backdropped by the [[SceneryPorn Dark Fountain]].

* The BonusBoss of Chapter 1, Jevil, due to being akin to the absolutely [[ThatOneBoss brutal]] exclusive bosses from the Genocide route of ''Undertale'', along with his battle theme being considered on-par with King's theme.

* Chapter 2's BonusBoss Spamton NEO, in a way, delivers on something fans of ''Undertale'' had wanted for years; a ''true'' battle against [[ZeroEffortBoss Mettaton NEO]].
