* Wrestling/ShawnMichaels reflected at a Q&A that when Sherri served as his manager at the beginning of his singles run, she told Shawn that if any wrestlers were being too rough with him in the ring to throw them to ringside, and she would deal with them. Whenever Shawn did so, Sherri would smack the crap out of wrestler until they ran back into the ring and begged Shawn to not throw them back out. Despite Shawn not initially being keen on having a manager, Sherri made it clear that she had Shawn’s back.

** The reason why Sherri was paired with Shawn was also awesome because her presence at his side elevated Shawn’s status as a heel, because of the fact that Sherri ''only'' managed top stars. Shawn Michaels gained notoriety because Sherri was at his side.

* Among the awards ''Wrestling/TheWrestlingObserverNewsletter'' issue at the end of every year there are a number of retired ones, including "Manager of the Year" which they awarded from 1983-1996. Sherri winning in 1991 might not ''seem'' like that big a deal, but when you consider that, aside from Wrestling/JimmyHart winning the inaugural one in 1983, Wrestling/JimCornette won it ''every other year,'' her taking the award off him even once basically cements her as one of the greatest managers of all time. She was damn good alright.
