** Their performance in the competition in general. Despite a slight hiccup in their first instant restaurant, they consistently performed well throughout the challenges. They were never sent to a Sudden Death, made a beautiful dish even when forced to use very unfamiliar ingredients (black pudding and rhubharb, which Anna and Jordan deliberately gave to them because they saw the sisters as the strongest threat in the competition) in the Finals Deciders, broke the Ultimate Instant Restaurant records, and curb-stomped their opponents in both the Semi and Grand finals despite not being familiar with the Sudden Death format due to never being sent there (whereas their opponents -- Gianni & Zanna and Carmine & Lauren -- had respectively sent 2 and 4 other teams home in such CookingDuel).

* The day after the disaster from Bek & Ash in Season 8, Tim and Kyle managed to break Eva & Debra record and getting a score of 100, with Pete & Manu giving perfect score for both of their entrée and main. And just a day later, Amy & Tyson smashed their record by getting a score of 102 (out of 110), with Pete giving a "perfect score for all of their categories" and Manu just 1 point short of giving them a perfect score.

* Tasia & Gracia were the first team in MKR history to score a 10/10 for their three-course meal menu during their semi-final. Lest anyone thinks [[ToughActToFollow they wouldn't be able to do as well in the Grand Final]] (which is ''much'' more challenging, as the contestants has to cook a lot more dishes), they actually did much better, and ''three'' out of the six judges gave them perfect scores, earning them a landslide victory over Carmine and Lauren. They're also the first (and currently the only) teams who has ever scored higher than 54 in such cook-off.

* Eva and Debra's "redemption" went ''far'' better than anyone expected. Breaking the series' previous record benchmark with a score of 98 (out of a maximum of 110), they have earned 5 10/10s for their dishes. Pete and Manu gave perfect scores for both entrée and main, and for the first time ever, a guest team scored a 10/10 for the Instant Restaurant. Even Kat and Andre, who were at the bottom of the leader board, were unable to be "strategic" because the dishes were so great, and they had to score the girls an 8. It's especially amazing when you consider how, in their first round, Eva and Debra were just 1 point away from getting eliminated.
* The way Drasko & Bianca bounced back after surviving a Sudden Death elimination. The dish they cooked for the Jetstar challenge won not only the People's Choice, but was also considered the dish of the day by both judges. It apparently trumps the Miso salmon cooked by Will & Steve, which Pete calls a "perfect" dish earlier.
