* Cheng Yin is blindfolded before being led to the Danchi camp. He still memorises the way to it, by the things he hears and feels during the ride -- sand falling from rocks, grass brushing his hand, etc. He even guesses at the terrain by listening to the sounds the horses' hooves make on dry ground or when wading through water.
