* Chris escaping from the Armitage house and single-handedly killing all of them. He plugs his ears with cotton from the seat he's strapped to before knocking Jeremy out with a bocce ball, [[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice impaling Dean with deer antlers]], taking out Missy's hypnotic teacup/spoon and [[EyeScream stabbing her in the eye]] with a letter opener, then stomping out a NotQuiteDead Jeremy before heading out the door.

** Special mention goes to both Chris and -- from a villainous standpoint -- Jeremy during their fight. Jeremy nearly killed Chris while suffering from a severe and bloody head wound, whereas Chris outsmarted Jeremy by tricking him into kicking the door shut so that he could stab his leg and brutally kill him.
** The fact Chris decided to not escape right away, but instead stick around to ensure the Armitages got their just desserts. Whether it was to ensure the family's scheme finally comes to an end and sparing other innocent black people a horrific fate, to mete out his own grisly form of vengeance, or just to insure they wouldn't come after him, either way the Armitages get what they deserve.
* Rod being the one to rescue Chris at the end. His utter persistence in getting his best friend back deserves a mention. Also, it's a ''huge'' relief to the audience when he [[NotWhatItLooksLike pulls up in the police car]], but we see the word "Airport" written on the driver door.

** Rodney Rod realizing that Rose was lying over the phone, even before she started disturbingly trying to seduce him.

* An understated one is Georgina's FightingFromTheInside moment. It's shown throughout the movie that, unless exposed to a camera flash, the people who underwent the procedure are completely under control. And yet Georgina nearly broke free just from a polite conversation. Not only that, but it's implied she left the door with the pictures of Rose's previous boyfriends open so that Chris could find them.
* From a villainous standpoint, Rose only starts her awkward seduction attempt after the clearly suspicious Rod puts her on hold to get a recording device ready. So the only evidence he records about his missing friend's whereabouts is his best friends's girl talking about how they've always had a connection, which wouldn't [[MurderTheHypotenuse help him much.]]
-->'''Rod''': She's a fucking, she's a...AAAH! [[EvilVirtues She's a genius.]]

No meta moment, see this query.

!!Meta
* Meta: on the movie's opening weekend, it held a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating from 135 reviews. It's not that often a film that starts at 100% stays that way even for a weekend. Even more impressive? This is Jordan Peele's ''directorial debut''! The first negative review didn't arrive until after the movie opened significantly above expectations.
* Chance the Rapper was so impressed with the film and determined to get as many people as possible to see it that he bought out an entire day's showing at a Chicago Theater with instructions that anyone who asked be able to use those tickets for free.
* ''Get Out'' is now the [[http://deadline.com/2017/03/get-out-jordan-peele-blumhouse-universal-1202041635/ fastest Blumhouse title]] to hit $100 million, getting there in a mere 16 days.
** What's even more incredible is the film's longevity. As noted in the linked article, most genre films drop in in their second weekend by 60% (or perhaps more accurately, 50% to 55%). Second week drop for ''Get Out''? '''15%'''. What a testament to the film's great RewatchBonus value.
** With this milestone comes an even bigger one: Jordan Peele is now [[http://screenrant.com/get-out-jordan-peele-first-black-director-debut-feature/ the first African-American writer and director to have his directorial debut hit 100 million dollars. ]]
** Also, the movie is now the [[http://www.indiewire.com/2017/04/get-out-breaks-record-jordan-peele-debut-screenplay-highest-grossing-1201799905/ highest grossing debut film based on an original screenplay.]]
* Beyond being an excellently constructed film, ''Get Out'' executes its main twist flawlessly. The initial trailers made it seem like it was an exciting but standard story: black dude meets white parents, turns out white parents are racists, violence ensues, maybe hypnosis is involved to make all the black people subservient. The twist of having a white person brain literally put into a black person's body was a fantastic sci-fi twist that very few early viewers saw coming.
* After all the above success from a first-time director making an overtly political black-led film, the film also got four major Oscar nominations, for Best Picture, Director, Actor, and Original Screenplay.
** Jordan Peele is the first black filmmaker to be nominated at the Oscars for producing, directing, and writing in the same year. Again, this is his directorial debut.
*** He even won for Best Original Screenplay, which makes him the first black screenwriter in history to win for Best Original Screenplay!
* Credit must be given to Allison Williams: she plays Rose both before and after TheReveal perfectly, never having a single crack in her story, and the scene where she attempts to seduce Rod with honeyed words and tone despite having a completely blank face is ridiculously terrifying.

* Once Chris figures out what his camera flash can do, he ''weaponizes it'', and the Armitage family's groundskeeper finally gets his revenge, quickly tricking Rose into handing over her gun and turning it on her instead. What happens next is [[IDieFree sad,]] but the man is undeniably badass.
