* [[spoiler: Khorne]] gets one for being subtle, for once, guiding Kais throughout the story.

* Say what you will about the game, but the novel gave a CMOA to the VoiceWithAnInternetConnection ''of all people''. The narration keeps cutting away from Kais and Ardias fighting the [[BigBad Greater Daemon]] to Lusha and his squad suiting up in their [[RealRobot Crisis Battlesuits]]. Aside from quite neat detail of how one operates a Crisis Suit, this seems quite irrelevant as you think 'so Lusha's going to go shred Chaos Marines while Kais FIGHTS THE [[PrecisionFStrike FUCKING]] Big Bad!' Wrong. After Kais uses the [[ChekhovsGun dud bolter shell]] to destroy the last shrine, Lusha and the Crisis Team come screaming in and proceed to unleash [[PunctuatedForEmphasis Every. Single. Weapon.]] on their Battlesuits, blowing the Daemon back to where it came from. Awesome.

* And Ko'vash. Hell, Ko'vash. The new Grey Knights Codex broke the base when it gave us incorruptible Grey Knights, but the novel of ''VideoGame/FireWarrior'' gave us the incorruptible Ethereal, and it made perfect sense. The Daemon literally cannont grasp any sort of purchase in the guy's mind. Compared to [[CurbStompBattle how easily the Admiral]] [[DemonicPossession falls]], Ko'vash deserves a medal for effectively [[DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu giving a Greater Daemon the finger]], without ''saying a word''. Bonus points for the Caste name of the Ethereals adding a little FridgeBrilliance, their emotions are so in check that they basically are mentally untouchable.

In the Novel, its explained he's only doing so, because of a vision of his company's Librian psychic, and friend, died while having a vision alerting him and their battle brothers to the presence of Chaos forces trying to enter reality, and the solution was to trust Kais and takes over as his mission command. Before they meet back up on the surface of the planet, he task Kais with making an Imperial Titan inoperable, so that Chaos can't use it, while he secures a Land Speeder to be their transport and organizes his battle brothers. So, Ardias gets to the hanger building where the Titan is held, wondering if Kais succeeded in his mission, or wondering if Kais has failed[[note]]thanks to the fact that just about all races in 40k ''hate'' each other with a passion, and consider others to be weaker, and not deserving a place in the galaxy[[/note]]. Instead he see's Kais is standing outside of the perfectly intact hanger patiently, waiting for him. Ardias immediately presumes and begins chewing out Kais for supposedly just sitting outside all this time, and letting Chaos power up and ready the Titan. Cue Kais calm reply, and pushing the big shiny red button on the detonator. Even Ardias was impressed with the explosion.
