But what makes this special is that, [[spoiler:before [[GoryDiscretionShot killing him]], he gives a RousingSpeech to both Roddlevan and the others, telling them that he '''will''' overthrow the Empire so such things will never happen again]]. It's both wonderful and heartbreaking.
** Oifey's [[YouArenotAlone pep talk]] to Seliph, [[spoiler:Larcei's ShutUpHannibal to Roddlevan when he reveals his FaceHeelTurn to her and Seliph]], ''and'' [[spoiler:Ulster stopping Larcei from killing Roddlevan before he can be judged]] are pretty awesome (and sad) in themselves.
** Also, while Adean has become a RetiredBadass, it doesn't mean [[PluckyGirl her pluck has gone away]]. Even when the abbey is almost defenseless against Dozelian troops, she's getting ready to defend it and planning how to do so no matter what. In the end, [[spoiler:Lester and Delmud]] joined in and she didn't need to fight, but it's still a very nice scene.
* When Teeny is first recruited, she's shy and nervous about fitting in with the army. She's even nervous if she confronts her uncle. In her second confrontation with him, however, that goes away. She calls him out on leaving her mother to her fate at Hilda's hands. And if Teeny gets to confront Hilda... [[BewareTheNiceOnes hoo boy]]. In addition, if she's chosen as Seliph's lover, she shoots down Seliph's attempt to get her to stay back, saying that she ''won't'' let what happened to [[StarCrossedLovers Seliph's parents]] happen to them.

Then she pulled a GoThroughMe to give Arvis the chance to live, [[WhamLine told Arvis]] [[BrotherSisterIncest the truth of their bonds]], and held Julius off as much as she could, [[DyingMomentOfAwesome knowing that she wouldn't make it but still determined to do what she could]].]]

* As hard as it is, it's still insanely satisfying to defeat Julius/[[DemonicPossession Loptyr]] without Julia and Naga, if only because of the fact that ''you're killing an ancient Earth Dragon'' (well, technically just his vessel), without any sort of divine aid. His sheer disbelief about being slain by mere humans is the icing on the cake.

** There's how she ''did'' [[http://www.mangafox.com/manga/fire_emblem_seisen_no_keifu/v03/c018/25.html put up more of a fight]] against [[spoiler:Manfroy coming to kidnap and brainwash her - even if it didn't work, she still managed to save Arden, Oifaye, Shanan, and baby!Seliph.]]

** For the last one, try to recall this: Tine is a Thunder-specializing mage, Hilda just happened to use the losing end of the Magic Triangle (Fire). If she's properly trained and even using Speed Ring, it's not an uncommon sight to see Tine enter the battle with 100% hit rate, while Hilda is down to 0%. Larcei and co. are scouting out Manster from a distance when they see Dragon Knights attacking the town--only for a powerful wind to kill them, with even Larcei's group being able to feel its strength from where they are. When it dies down, you get to see where it's coming from: the fingertips of a lone figure standing calmly on a cliff, aka Ced. In that moment, you ''know'' that Ced is one of the most powerful people in Jugdral.
* Seliph and Shanan's reunion in Ch. 3 of the Nea Fuyuki manga. Shanan, having just acquired Balmung, suddenly appears to pull a BigDamnHeroes for Seliph, before Seliph immediately proceeds to return the favour. At that point, Shanan realizes that Seliph has grown past the kid who needs his protection, as they then simultaneously wipe out the remaining enemies--as equals, for the first time.
