* Impmon's CMOA is after his HeelFaceTurn, when he runs to help the main characters in the fight against the D-Reaper, armed with nothing but a ''toy gun'' given from his twin Tamers. His sheer determination to help them in order to somewhat atone for what he did allows him to evolve all the way to Beelzebumon Blast Mode, and he nearly dies in a desperate attempt to recue Juri so that he could forgive himself for killing Leomon.

punch, then the fist screwed the agent over. Fixed (?) an awkward paragraph.

** Beelzemon vs Gallantmon has one specific scene that stands to mind. Gallantmon(Dukemon) does the TheSlowWalk ([[{{Expy}} a la gohan]] while sounding like a giant mecha) out of a flaming inferno (which he himself had made), towards another enemy, puts out the fire behind him by putting on his cape, and declares that that specific enemy is no match for him while charging his attack. [[AC:Digimon Xros Wars]]
* The show just kicked off, and it was AllJustADream on the main character's part, but the first few minutes of this series definitely qualify. As the evil Bagura Army emerges from the shadows, comprised of multiple high leveled digimon and ominous soldiers, our hero Taiki appears with his comrades, Shoutmon, Ballistamon, and Dorurumon... along with shadowed versions of [[ShoutOut Digimon heroes from past seasons.]] Then, Taiki commands the three to [[CombiningMecha combine to Shoutmon x4]], who utterly decimates the opposing army, as old friends look on in awe... this doubles as a figurative PassingTheTorch moment for the franchise as well. Combine that with Taiki waking up, followed by them focusing on the legendary goggles... and then cue the opening credits.
* Episode 11 featured a big battle against the Bugra Army that had some of the best animation yet from the show. A special mention to [[spoiler:Akari for snapping out of being brainwashed, attacking Lilithmon with the Code Crown, and ''drawing blood'']].
* Sparrowmon's successful determined effort to save Nene in episode 17. This is followed up by the debut of X5.
* Dear lord, Episode 19 is just one Crowning Moment of Awesome after another for DarkKnightmon in the 2nd part. He destroys X4, then, as he's having a tiny bit of trouble with Metagreymon and X4, as in, not being able to land a hit, but not being hit himself, he knocks both of them out by [[spoiler:reverting to his UN-DIGI CROSSED FORM, and literally pummels both X4 and Metalgreymon into the ground, using his two origonal forms, and a different Digi-Xross.]] Then, when the 'Invincible' Deckerdramon, Metalgreymon, and X4 all attack him at once, in a [[TheWorfBarrage Worf Barrage]] and [[SmokeShield Smoke Sheild ]] moment, he is completely unharmed. And unphazed. This is the same time when it's revealed he's pulling the strings too, not his human partner, Nene, a complete first for the franchise.

* Another thing that makes Bokura no War Game is so awesome is when you realise that it was major foreshadowing. How so? Well remember that the movie is in fact Canon (having been mentioned in series by two of the characters), and that during it, kids from all over the world were watching, including the protaganists of 02. Anyone remember what the requirements for becoming a digidestined in 01 and 02 were? It was by ''seeing'' a digimon. Now if the children watching had in fact amounted to, oh say, ''50 million'', you suddenly realise where they all came from during the final episode of 02. ChekovsGun indeed!

* Wizardmon. The guy is a walking CrowningMomentOfAwesome. He was basically loyal to Gatomon all along, helping her when he suspected her of being a partner. He willingly went against Myotismon, declaring "''How could I betray you when I was never on your side to begin with!''" (a line ThisTroper has never forgotten and has even used on occasion), and surviving two [[NoOneCouldSurviveThat fatal attacks]]. When he attacks Myotismon from behind after the first attempt, Myotismon actually shows ''fear'' when he sees his assailant, something to even Angewomon couldn't achieve. His eventual HeroicSacrifice paved the way for Gatomon's Moment.

* Considering all the trauma that Ken had to go through (along with his psychological instability), ThisTroper was incredibly impressed by episode forty-five. To seal Daemon away, Ken unflinchingly opened a portal to the Dark Ocean through his own Digivice, even when keeping that portal open proved to be so painful he kept screaming his head off.
** Tell me about it. [[{{Scarab}} This Troper]] does not normally buy HeelFaceTurn redemptions in fiction because they often feel forced or unrealistic to her (she?s a bit unsure of her place on the [[SlidingScaleOfIdealismVersusCynicism Sliding Scale]] right now). But after everything Ken [[TheAtoner went through]], all the damn crap he had to take and how damn ''hard'' he tried to make up for everything, culminating in the scene mentioned above, this is one instance where ThisTroper was happy to sit back and say: "Yeah, he's totally earned this". He's now one of her favourite characters.

** ThisTroper wonders if the previous troper even watched the series, Ruki had plenty of Crowning Moments after she joined the main crew one of them being when she and Renamon had the fight and Ruki being worried about her still went out to help Renamon, without having her modify cards - instead, she picked up a sharp stick not caring for her own safety and stabbed Harpymon in the back. Then there was that moment when they were fighting that other Deva wanted to get Renamon to join them, but Ruki never lost her faith in Renamon enabling her to evolve into Taomon. Then there was the Song of Sukuyamon episode when Ruki and Renamon biomerged for the first time. Then the all the other times when she saved her team mates asses from the D-reaper agents, with little to no effort, while Ryo needed help defeating one agent. The same type that Ruki treats as cannon fodder. Then there is the time where she decided to look for Impmon, ''despite all that he had done to them.'' {{Chickification}} only happens when a characters get weaker, Ruki just got stronger, and smarter too. The fact that she is the first girl to achieve Mega alone qualifies her as awesome. And we only saw Ryo fight 4 times in the entire series, the last two fights he had help from Hirokazu and Shiuchon, and then Ruki herself.

* Speaking of the Digimon movies, while ''Bokura no War Game'' is Main/ThisTroper's single favorite piece of animation in the entire franchise, the ''DigimonSavers'' movie, ''Activate the Burst Mode!'' is a close second. First of all -- ''there are no humans until the very end.'' Yes, this is a Digimon movie about the ''Digimon.'' Masaru, Touma and Yoshino have all been [[Main/HumanPopsicle frozen]], and Agumon, Gaomon and Lalamon are forced to conduct the battle with the help of a MysteriousWaif, Rhythm. This would just be interesting if not for the fact that Gaomon is a badass of the first order, Lalamon has sausage nunchucks, and Agumon is a [[BigDamnHeroes big damn hero]]. Seriously. Gaomon goes all Jackie Chan on a bunch of Goblinmon, turns around and asks Lalamon for a sausage, Agumon breaks through to Burst Mode and Lalamon turns her goofiness into utter badassitude. It's a NonSerialMovie, as Burst Mode has special plot relevance in the series proper, but it's still cool!

* The show just kicked off, and it was AllJustADream on the main character's part, but the first few minutes of this series definitely qualify. As the evil Bagura Army emerges from the shadows, comprised of multiple high leveled digimon and ominous soldiers, our hero Taiki appears with his comrades, Shoutmon, Ballistamon, and Dorurumon... along with shadowed versions of [[ShoutOut digimon Digimon heroes from past seasons.]] Then, Taiki commands the three to [[CombiningMecha combine to Shoutmon x4]], who utterly decimates the opposing army, as old friends look on in awe... this doubles as a figurative PassingTheTorch moment for the franchise as well.

** For this troper, the dub is awesome on another level because one of the first things Disney did once they got the license was to dub this. To hear nearly every voice actor reprise their respective characters years after Adventure 02 ended was pure joy.

* Mummymon. Throughout all of his appearences in the series, poor ol Mummymon was a joke, he and Arukenimon were the [[GoldfishPoopGang "Jessie and James"]] of Digimon so to speak. That is, until the end, when [[TheManBehindTheMan MaloMyotismon]] appears and brutally murders Arukenimon. In a fit sheer rage that his love had been destroyed, Mummymon almost TookALevelInBadass and attacked MaloMyotismon with all his strength, wrapping him in a Snake Bandage. The BigBad is not fazed however and easily breaks free, after a little taunting, Mummymon says two of the most [[CrowningMomentOfAwesome awesome]] lines ever: "YOU DON'T SCARE ME, YOU'VE TAKEN AWAY MY ARUKENIMON, AND NOW I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO HER!!!!" and "THEN I WILL TEACH YOU TO FEAR ME!!" he then proceeds to fire an energy gun beam at [=MaloMyotismon=], who shrugged it off and with a simple reply of "Playtime's over" and a puff of red smoke, he melted Mummymon into nothingness. RIP Mummymon, rest knowing that at least this troper acknowledged your awesomeness. btw, here is [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPvdRC9Ce_A&NR=1 that scene]]. Watch from 6 minutes in.

* WarGreymon's appearance and battle with BlackWarGreymon was pure awesome. Agumon basically tries to reason with his dark half (once in the Digiworld, then in the real world), then transforms and kicks his ass when there's no other choice.
** Wormmon gets another CMoA during said real world battle with BlackWarGreymon, calling him out on his self-pity when BWG claims that, aside from fighting, his life has no meaning.
* A big shout-out to the second to last episode when the current Digidestined used the power of the world that allowed wishes to digivolve their partners to like every evolution stage they had (Except for Magnamon and Patamon and Gatomon's Mega forms from the movie) and preceded to give MaloMyotismon one ass-kicking after another.

*** No mention of his battle with WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon? Aside from being well animated, it has the double advantage of being a monumental, legendary clash for the franchise featuring one of the most legendary digimon... and the two equally infamous monsters that ''comprise him.''

*** A moment for the villains; in the original Japanese, when Mercuremon became Black/Shadow Seraphimon, the music that played when he was beating up Takuya was ''Requiem''. Fans of series get a really threating villain, and fans of adventure can imagine that it is omegamon/omnimon who is doing the beating.

* This Troper cannot believe nobody has brought the AWESOME of any of the Digimon films, yet, especially, arguably the best one, Bokura no War Game ("Our War Game", a reference to, well, WarGames). in addition to having a fairly obscene budget (for a kid's movie, it's animation blows all the Pokemon and Yugioh movies combined out of the water.) and it was animated by a person who studied under Hayao Miyazaki at one time, so that's why the animation should look familliar. At one point in a movie, Diablomon (I refuse to recognise him by his horrible dub name) decideds to launch an highly advanced nuclear missile, and, when Koushirou finds out, he tells us it ''could blow up anywhere in the world, in nine minutes.'' and since Diablomon stated that it was "a game" at the beginning of the movie, they had defeat one of Diablomon's millions of self-clones that had the "Clock" (which symbolyses the detonation timer of the warhead.) that's right, a DIGIMON movie, has a movie plot about stopping ''[[NuclearWeaponsTaboo NUCLEAR WAR]]''. all the while, the whole world is reaching out to the heroes via e-mail. It is awesome beyond words, and needs to be seen in it's original format to be believed.
