* Renee Montoya, Aristotle Rodor, and Lady Shiva were amongst the first to rout a Black Lantern, specifically Black Lantern Vic Sage. Shiva took advantage of its inability to keep its mouth shut to realize that what it wanted was for them to feel emotions, and well used to EmotionSuppression, she immediately walled her emotions in ice, becoming invisible and undetectable. Furious, the Lantern tried to attack the other two, only for them to follow suit (especially impressive given Vic was Montoya's mentor in vigilantism and Rodor's son in all but blood), leaving it alone and raging at nothing, forcing it to cut its losses and leave without its prize.

The original image linked for Scarecrow actually depicts him almost getting a yellow ring in the leadup to Sinestro Corps War.

* Minor characters in the DCU, ComicBook/HawkAndDove have a history of being killed off in crossovers. Here, both Doves are key elements of the crossover -- Dove I is the only known dead person immune to the Black Lanterns, and Dove II is the only person at the time who inherently had the ability to destroy Black Lanterns, something not even the Corps could claim. Dove II is instrumental in destroying the Black Lantern powering Nekron.
