AsurasWrath seems to be shaping up as one of the most epic action games ever created. The sheer moments of awesome are so great that even the trailers alone are absolutely insane.

** Just how powerful is [[spoiler: Wrath Mode Asura?]] Powerful enough that Olga fires the [[WaveMotionGun Brahmastra]] at him, using up three fourths of the seven trillion souls the Seven Deities had collected. To her credit, [[spoiler: it does knock him out of Wrath Mode... into a ''very'' slightly less powerful form whose next appearance has him [[CurbStompBattle curbstomping]] Sergei's entire fleet in less than a second, with no once noticing he's there until ships start exploding.]]

** And the music that's playing during all this? Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" 4th movement; making it the [[OnePiece second time]] it's been used in one of the contenders for the best fight scene ever.

* The mere trailers alone are so insanely awesome it's hard to even begin to describe it. In this [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PCDxS8uJFQ first trailer here]], Asura is shown having several spears stuck through him. An enemy demigod orders his soldiers to attack by throwing what could only be seen as a [[MacrossMissileMassacre Macross Spear Massacre]]. Asura then rips the spears from his side, and slowly but surely starts up and runs straight into the barrage. He dodges some, but gets speared multiple times in mid-air. [[TheJuggernaut He just keeps on going]] like they are nothing. He then lariats a couple of goons in the the face and causes a shock wave that causes several others to fly into the air.\\

* In the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-f3woBOc8pY&feature=related second trailer]], we get a small flashback to the previous trailer. Then, we see Asura dodge shots from another giant Buddha statute, then run along its arm, and ''punch it in the face''. Then we see the massive planet-sized Buddha again, once again ready to squish Asura. With all six arms, Asura yells out '''COME ON''' at said finger. Now, any normal person, even someone that would be like even [[VideoGame/GodOfWar Kratos]] or even {{Bayonetta}} would probably be squished like an ant. Asura, with all six arms? He actually ''stops'' said finger. I Repeat. He stops a finger bigger than any boss in the history of {{Beat Em Up}}s and HackAndSlash games with his ''bare hands''.

** The sheer size of Augus's Blade is one of these. How big is it? [[http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/16/overheard-tgs-just-how-long-is-that-sword-in-asuras-wrath/ Hiroshi Matsuyama]] of CyberConnect2 stated it's 3 [[UpToEleven 8]][[HolyShitQuotient 0 000]] Kilometers long! Probably the most insane example of a BFS ever made.

*** The real kicker, and also another moment of awesome? [[spoiler: Asura breaking said blade while its ''still going through his abdomen'', destroying his last arm and in the process knocking the remaining piece of the sword out of Augus's hands, then ''grabbing the sword with his teeth'' and finishing Augus off with the ironically short broken sword.]]
** And if that wasn't enough, soon after the fight [[spoiler:when a giant Gohma with an impurity level of '''47,000''' shows up soon after, Asura calmly walks off to confront it with... with no arms, nothing but Augus's broken sword once again in his mouth. Its not revealed what happened in the fight, but as a cherry to top off this scene, he manages to ''somehow'' cause a massive explosion.]]

* Every single quote during Augus and Asrua's fight can be considered this. The former trying to nudge his former pupil into becoming just like him yet Asura rebuffs every attempt in his [[ShutUpHannibal usual]] [[TalkToTheFist fashion.]]
* The video of the game's Eighth stage, where Asura saves a girl who was around when he awakened from the Gohma. After an intense chase sequence through a temple, Asura punches the Gorilla Gohma carrying the girl, making both fly out and drop down towards the ground, but fortunately our angry Demi-God jumps in to catch the girl and brake her fall. Just as things seem to be over, a giant Turtle Gohma appears. Before the girl starts panicking, Asura gently pushes her aside and goes to do what he does best: Kick ass. Now, as far as action has been going in this game, this is quite minimum (It is undoubtly the very first stage, after all. Pace, people.), but come on, let's be frank: A main protagonist that can be badass, furious, and a menacing force, but at the same time is good and righteous enough to protect the innocent around him? That's awesome in and of itself. I just missed characters like that.
* The very first episode of the game. Just, the first episode. It could go down in history as not only being one of the most insane and memorable first levels in an action game, but one of the most memorable opening levels to video games in general. The very first moment of the game features Asura, diving off of a gunship from high orbit, falling to Earth at terminal velocity, straight through one of the largest space battles in videogame history, taking on Gohma space whales that are larger than even the Divinities' [[CaptainErsatz Star Destroyer-esque spaceships]]... and ''[[OneManArmy winning]].'' Must be seen to be believed.

* The french website Jeuxvideo.fr had the chance of playing in exclusivity the first two thirds of the game. They show two excerpts [[http://www.jeuxvideo.fr/jeux/asura-s-wrath/preview-test-asura-s-wrath.html here]]. In the second one, we see [[spoiler: Asura SLAUGHTERING THE ENTIRE DIVINITIES' SPACE NAVY!!]]

* The true final fight of the game from Part IV, Nirvana. All of it. Plus [[spoiler: Asura and yasha's Last battle]]. The latter is both this and a CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming, and the former is one of the most epic battles in video game history. So epic, words can't even begin to describe how epic it is.

* The Epilogue, A Life Well Lived. Just...A Life Well Lived. Any player who saw this interlude had their jaw dropped and they know it.

* To elaborate on the true final fight of Part IV: Nirvana mentioned above, the entire thing is one MomentOfAwesome [[UpToEleven after another]]. [[spoiler: Upon finishing up MeditatingUnderAWaterfall, Asura finally decides to finish off Chakravartin once and for all, [[CallBack taking a ship into space that he first jumped off of all the way back in the beginning]]. Chakravartin then tries to fire a huge massively Faster than Light laser attack from far far away in the cosmos, upon which Asura counters by having the lasers energy actually use his new Karma Fortress Mantra Reactor that Yasha gave his life to activate, and causes Asura to turn into '''[[OneWingedAngel Asura]], [[EleventhHourSuperpower the]] [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast Destructor]]''', and flys off into space to confront and defeat Chakravartin.]]
** [[spoiler: As Asura flies through space past several planets and solar systems at extremely fast speed, he fights Chakravartin by destroying the basic projectiles thrown at him, '''[[SerialEscalation Planets, meteors, and SMALL STARS]]!''' Eventually, Chakravartin throws a giant planet that completely dwarfs Asura, and Asura just ''[[{{Badass}} Punches right through it!]]'' Then Chakravartin starts throwing Suns at you instead of just planets and meteors, than eventually causes a sun to try and go nova on you just to kill you. '''[[HolyShitQuotient Asura blows it up.]]''' Then Chakravartin tries to spam his lasers. Asura dodges all of them. Finally Asura literally punches Chakravartin's forehead, which along is so big Asura even the size of a planet looks like a flea by comparison. He punches THROUGH the forehead! [[HolyShitQuotient Did I mention all the above is only the first third of the entire battle? And That Chakravartin was still only testing Asura and not even trying to kill you?]]]]

*** Then comes the next part, where Asura [[spoiler: makes it to the Event Horizon of Naraka, and to reward his power, Chakravartin lets Asura take Mithra back. That is, if Asura takes Chakravartin's place. Asura thinks for a few minutes, then gives a small smile, with a command called "Extend Arm" pops up. Guess what happens next? [[MomentOfAwesome ASURA PUNCHES CHAKRAVARTIN IN THE FACE AND REFUSES THE OFFER]]! Extremely angry with you, Chakravartin shows off his power by breaking the Event Horizon with just a stab of a spear, and then Asura and Chakravartin's giant form fight again, except Asura is regular human size now. The above forehead punch happens again, but this time, Asura also Breaks through the Event Horizon as well! Then after a while of dodging insane laser barrages, energyballs, and jumping over floor lasers, Chakravartin just ditches the spears and goes full on PummelDuel against you, with his MultiArmedAndDangerous attacks vs. Asura's. He breaks Asura's extra arms, but Asura manages to get a win in, does a Shoryuken Chakravartin in the face, and then does a massive [[FistOfTheNorthStar Hokuto Hyakuretsu-Ken]] styled attack that literally seems to end the fight.]] [[HowMuchMoreCanHeTake Except it doesn't.]]
*** Chakravartin, now really mad, [[spoiler: assumes his ultimate form, his Creator form, and stops Asura in his tracks with just one finger, reverting Asura back to his base form, except Asura is still angry and now can use even more power than before without his Destructor form. Chakravartin starts using a wide area attack, his mere presence now turning the previously colorful Event Horizon [[WhiteVoidRoom completely white]]. Along with said attack, he uses a [[KingOfFighters Reppuken]] styled Energy slash, a massive DragonBall esque SphereOfDestruction, a ColorCodedTimeStop which is followed by a QTE counter... plus Asura can counter by dodging Chakravartin's StormOfBlades move that looks like something straight out of FateStayNight, punching out the energy ball and then giving Chakravartin a good old punch to the face to end the awesome QTE sequence.]]
*** Asura now really mad, [[spoiler: gives a massive punch to Chakratarvin's torso, who looks smug and unnaffected, but the energy in the punch keeps building up, catching Chakratarvin by surprise, then knocking him back with a laser finisher not unlike the one done on Deus, except much much more powerful and larger. Chakratarvin not comprehending how this is happening, gets really mad. [[InterfaceScrew And then we see his QTE's!]] It becomes the equivalent of a QTE brawl, neither Asura or Chakravartin giving in. As the fight goes on, Asura keeps getting angrier and angrier, and Chakravartin's QTE's start to fail, as Asura gives an awesome WorldOfCardboardSpeech and calling out Chakravartin as shallow and only wanting to rule the world. With 3 massive Bursts, he knocks Chakratarvin on his feet, forcing Mithra out of his grasp. In spite of Mithra's protest that he will die if he kills Chakravartin due to his Wrath mantra being tied to his life force and that all the living civilian Demi-gods will be mortal, Asura just smiles to Mithra and goes through with it anyway, and ends it with the biggest final Burst of all, a massive powerful punch that breaks Chakravartin's jaw, destroying him and Naraka with it!]] [[BestBossEver And thus the greatest final Boss in existence happened.]]

*** If [[spoiler:Evil]] Ryu hits the [[spoiler:Messatsu-Goshoryu Ultra]] on Asura, he manages to return that huge chunk of land that Asura and Augus unearthed back into the ground.
*** Asura's grounded attacks on [[spoiler:Evil]] Ryu during the fight: the first is a fury of punches that culminates with Asura performing a '''SIX-ARMED SHORYUKEN'', the second is a modified [[WrestlerInAllOfUs Muscle Buster]] which Asura performs with his six arms. The result: let's say that even after being [[spoiler:possessed by the Satsui No Hado]], Ryu isn't immune to a good old [[GroinAttack nut shot.]]
*** By the time the fight comes to a close, Asura attempts to [[spoiler:perform the Shun Goku Satsu]] (hell, the games gives you the command for it as the final QTE) to finish the battle. [[spoiler:Evil]] Ryu doesn't take too kindly on that and attempts to perform [[spoiler:a Shun Goku Satsu of his own.]] The result? [[spoiler:The two attacks cancel each other out with Asura and Evil Ryu in BackToBackBadasses AssKickingPose in the same manner as a regular Shun Goku Satsu is performed and ended.]]

Asura ends up attacking him while the SGS is still on-going, culminating with Asura kicking [[spoiler:Oni]] to the other side of the arena. Pissed off, [[spoiler:Oni]] attempts one more attack with the [[spoiler:Tenchi Sokaigen]], which Asura parries, but is still launched into the air. [[spoiler:Oni]] tries to finish off Asura with a final attack..... but Asura recovers an blocks said attack with a punch of his own.

Then we see assorted in-game action with Asura ripping through all the regular enemies, using their own weapons against them, taking a giant ''concrete pillar'' and ramming it through a slew of enemies, punching a giant Buddha in the face like it was just a regular person, and then doing an epic CrossCounter with his fellow demigod. After that, the enemy demigod turns into his true form, a ''[[AttackOfThe50FootWhatever planet-sized]]'' [[AttackOfThe50FootWhatever Buddha]] bigger than the ''planet Earth'', whose massive finger alone is bigger than any boss in the history of HackAndSlash and {{Beat Em Up}}s, is about ready to squish Asura. Asura's Reaction? ''COME ON''!

Then, we see Asura dodge shots from another giant Buddha statute, then run along its arm, and ''punch it in the face''. Now, any normal person, even someone that would be like even [[VideoGame/GodOfWar Kratos]] or even {{Bayonetta}} would probably be squished like an ant. Asura, with all six arms? He actually ''stops'' said finger. I Repeat. He stops a finger bigger than any boss in the history of {{Beat Em Up}}s and HackAndSlash games with his ''bare hands''.

Chakratarvin not comprehending how this is happening, gets really mad. [[InterfaceScrew And then we see his QTE's!]] It becomes the equivalent of a QTE brawl, neither Asura or Chakravartin giving in. As the fight goes on, Asura keeps getting angrier and angrier, and Chakravartin's QTE's start to fail, as Asura gives an awesome WorldOfCardboardSpeech and calling out Chakravartin as shallow and only wanting to rule the world. With 3 massive Bursts, he knocks Chakratarvin on his feet, forcing Mithra out of his grasp. In spite of Mithra's protest that he will die if he kills Chakravartin due to his Wrath mantra being tied to his life force and that all the living civilian Demi-gods will be mortal, Asura just smiles to Mithra and goes through with it anyway, and ends it with the biggest final Burst of all, a massive powerful punch that breaks Chakravartin's jaw, destroying him and Naraka with it!]] [[BestBossEver And thus the greatest final Boss in existence happened.]]

Eventually, Chakravartin throws a giant planet that completely dwarfs Asura, and Asura just ''[[{{Badass}} Punches right through it!]]'' Then Chakravartin starts throwing Suns at you instead of just planets and meteors, than eventually causes a sun to try and go nova on you just to kill you. *** Then comes the next part, where Asura [[spoiler: makes it to the Event Horizon of Naraka, and to reward his power, Chakravartin lets Asura take Mithra back. That is, if Asura takes Chakravartin's place. Asura thinks for a few minutes, then gives a small smile, with a command called "Extend Arm" pops up. Guess what happens next? [[MomentOfAwesome ASURA PUNCHES CHAKRAVARTIN IN THE FACE AND REFUSES THE OFFER]]! Extremely angry with you, Chakravartin shows off his power by breaking the Event horizon with just a stab of a spear, and then Asura and Chakravartin's giant form fight again, except Asura is regular human size now. The above forehead punch happens again, but this time, Asura also Breaks through the Event Horizon as well! Then after a while of dodging insane laser barrages, energyballs, and jumping over floor lasers, Chakravartin just ditches the spears and goes full on PummelDuel against you, with his MultiArmedAndDangerous attacks vs. Asura's. He breaks Asura's extra arms, but Asura manages to get a win in, does a Shoryuken Chakravartin in the face, and then does a massive [[FistOfTheNorthStar Hokuto Hyakuretsu-Ken]] styled attack that literally seems to end the fight.]] [[HowMuchMoreCanHeTake Except it doesn't.]]
*** Chakravartin, now really mad, [[spoiler: assumes his ultimate form, his Creator form, and stops Asura in his tracks with just one finger, reverting Asura back to his base form, except Asura is still angry and now can use even more power than before without his Destructor form. Chakravartin starts using a wide area attack, his mere presence now turning the previously colorful event horizon [[WhiteVoidRoom completely white]]. Along with said attack, he uses a [[KingOfFighters Reppuken]] styled Energy slash, a massive DragonBall esque SphereOfDestruction, a ColorCodedTimeStop which is followed by a QTE counter... plus Asura can counter by dodging Chakravartin's StormOfBlades move that looks like something straight out of FateStayNight, punching out the energy ball and then giving Chakravartin a good old punch to the face to end the awesome QTE sequence.]]
