[[TakeThat The girls are a fake band, hey?]]
** Special mention to Choa and Mina for learning their respective instruments much later than the others and still being able to keep up. ''Especially'' Mina who is of course the only bassist (while Choa is the second guitarist and thus has less pressure because of this as well as her vocals).
** Youkyung's predebut drumming in Kim Se Hwang's showcases are quite impressive - one can only imagine how even better she is now that it's been a while and she's been training hard. It is a shame FNC ''never'' utilises her drumming properly nor showcase how well she can play.
** Their FNC Kingdom performances are especially noteworthy. Not only did they perform Get Out (sadly shortened) which sounded great (and didn't suffer some messy equipment set-up like their Singapore performance), but they did a cover of AKB48's Heavy Rotation and sounded ''amazing'' with all the members shining. Sadly the cover was not on the DVD for copyright reasons - and so only one AOA Black performance (which ''wasn't even of a full song'') was left on it, in contrast to [[CreatorsPet the dance unit's two full performances]].
* The fact that the group both play instruments and dance is this for people who aren't confused or put off by their hybrid concept.
* Choa's power vocals have gotten a lot of praise and is a favourite amongst both fans and non-fans. Even antis or whose who don't like the group will at least give her voice some credit.
* The Get Out MV for giving all members and both units roughly equal camera time and dressing up in several female characters that promoted empowerment of all sorts, ranging from [[LegallyBlonde Elle Woods]] to [[Theatre/RomeoAndJuliet Juliet]].
* In the Moya MV, Choa calls out on the guy that cheated on her. [[spoiler:The plot-twist on said guy is even better - it's not the handsome guy like the MV implies, but the comedian!]]
* Moya being their first song to be number 1/score high on music charts. A TakeThat to those who think the band is pointless/unsuccessful (though many of them tend to [[FanDumb gloss over Moya's chart achievements and claim it failed completely]]).
* Miniskirt topping music charts and lingering on the charts months after its release.
* Their first music show win with Miniskirt - especially since it was the first and only time the song was nominated. Sadly Seolhyun and Youkyung were not present.
* In the Short Hair MV when Hyejeong [[spoiler:finally stands up to the annoying passenger.]]
* Chanmi taking Hyoyeon's position in the dance break in their Mr.Mr cover [[note]]Consisted of Choa, Jimin, Hyejeong, Chanmi and several members of other girl groups like GirlsDay[[/note]]. YMMV on how well done the cover was including said dance solo but the fact she was chosen to do it is this - fans shouting AOA during the dance break topped it off.
** Whenever they cover missing member's lines without trouble. Special mention goes to:
** Chanmi for covering Jimin in a radio and a music show live of "Short Hair", and covering for Mina in "Get Out" and "Elvis" in one event.
** Chanmi and Jimin for covering Seolhyun's parts in the "Miniskirt" era; they arguably did a better job than her who unsurprisingly has either lipsynced or sung really weakly underneath the backtrack in her recent performances of it.
** Choa, Yuna and Mina of course for covering AOA White members in the band versions of "Elvis" and "Get Out".
