That's impressive enough, especially when he bats a thrown knife out of the air with his bare hand - but the crowning moment comes later on, when, once again alone and unsupported, Gaia squares off against [=McRoy=]'s mooks. ''All'' of them. Watching him fight, the protagonist is startled to realize that in that earlier fight, Gaia wasn't even really ''trying''.
