* During the climactic battle of ''WebAnimation/NazoUnleashed'', Perfect Nazo [[WorthyOpponent expresses his admiration for]] [[spoiler:Sonic and Shadow's FusionDance into Hyper Shadic]]... then pointedly asks how many Rings they have left. Cue a ''massive'' OhCrap moment for [[spoiler:Hyper Shadic]] as they realise they can't sustain the transformation for much longer.

* On ''Website/NotAlwaysWorking'', a company realizes [[https://notalwaysright.com/a-little-research-goes-a-long-way/251701/ most of their job applicants are deliberately botching or no-showing the interview]], so they can claim to be seeking work on their unemployment applications. The company starts reporting so to the unemployment agency so those claims can be denied. When one applicant complains, they get asked two questions they are unable to answer: "What is the company's name?" and "What do we do?"

** Apparently this has become a CatchPhrase for Luga, the succubus in question, though by the second book it's become clear that the demons aren't AlwaysChaoticEvil and the phrase might be getting retired (Luga herself is [[IFightForTheStrongestSide self-serving at worst]] but ultimately sided with Humanity during the war)

* ''WebVideo/CriticalRole'': "What's my mother's name?" Scanlan asks this of the group after [[spoiler: he's brought back from the dead, during his blistering [[Main/TheReasonYouSuckSpeech "The Reason You Suck" Speech]]. He's furious with the others for letting his daughter, Kaylie, see him dead, and now he's accusing them all of not really knowing him or caring about him.]] No one can answer the question. [[spoiler: He leaves the party in that episode to be with Kaylie, and doesn't return for some time.]]

* A humorous example in ''Literature/TheSalvationWar''. A [[ItMakesSenseInContext succubus is hosting a talk show]] and is interrogating some corrupt politician about his misdeeds. When he's trying to flip the script by mentioning the atrocities she committed earlier, she responds that yes, she did, but then she's a literal demon from Hell. What's his excuse?

* ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'':
** In Volume 1, Ruby and Weiss argue about Ruby's promotion to leadership, resulting in them having conversations about it with Professors Ozpin and Port respectively. Ozpin gets through to Ruby by asking "Being a team leader isn't just a title you carry into battle, but a badge you wear constantly. If you're not always performing at your absolute best, then what reason do you give others to follow you?" and Port gets through to Weiss by asking "So the outcome did not fall in your favor. Do you really believe that acting in such a manner would cause those in power to reconsider their decision?" This makes Ruby realise she has to shape up to be the leader her team deserves while Weiss realises it's her job to support her; both of them learn that they need to become the best versions of themselves.
** In Volume 2, Dr. Oobleck takes Team RWBY on their first field mission, and challenges Weiss, Blake and Yang about their reasons for becoming Huntresses. For every answer given, his next question exposes the flaw in their reasoning, such as Blake's statement that she has to stop the inquality and corruption in the world; he asks "How?", leaving her speechless. All three end up questioning their own motives and desires, until it occurs to them that being Huntresses isn't about them; it's about protecting the people, and putting the lives of others before their own.
** In Volume 3, Ironwood's argument that bringing his entire fleet to the Vytal Festival will protect the people and make their enemies fear them is cut short by Ozpin's response: "A guardian is a symbol of comfort. An army is a symbol of conflict. There's an energy in the air now, a question in the back of everyone's minds: if this is the size of our defences, what is it we're expecting to fight?" Ironwood gives up his argument and concedes to his colleagues' desire to prioritise the search for their "Guardian".
** In Volume 5:
*** During their fight, Blake asks Ilia if she really thinks her parents would approve of what she's doing as part of the White Fang. This triggers the start of Ilia's breakdown as she bursts into tears and admits she doesn't know what to do anymore.
*** Raven tells Leo there's no shame in selling people out to ensure their own survival. Leo responds with "Who are you trying to convince?" This doesn't sit well with Raven, who silently leaves.
*** When Adam boasts to Blake about the powerful new friends he's made in Salem's group, Sun asks where they are, given that no-one's rushing to Adam's aid. Upon looking around, Adam sees that his forces are defeated and then flees.
*** When Yang confronts her mother, she challenges Raven's motives for doing the things she's done, and describes the Raven that her father told her about. She asks Raven "Did you kill her, too?", with "her" meaning the better person that her father described. Raven unravels at that point, allowing Yang to take control of both the situation and her.
** In Volume 7, Ruby gives Oscar the Relic of Knowledge for safe-keeping before she leaves on a mission. A sombre Oscar asks her if hiding things from Ironwood feels like the same thing Ozpin did to them. She's unable to answer, and is left visibly distraught.
** In Volume 8, when Elm learns what the heroes plan is for saving the Kingdom of Atlas, Robyn asks her whether saving people or infrastructure is more important? Robyn's question makes both her and Vine rethink their priorities. [[spoiler:The heroes decide that the only way to save the people is by using the Relic of Creation to magically evacuate them en masse to the Kingdom of Vacuo; the catch is that this will cause the floating city of Atlas to crash out of the sky into the city of Mantle. The heroes believe that the kingdom will survive as long as its people do; Elm and Vine end up agreeing.]]

* ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'':

** In an early episode, Weiss Schnee complains to Professor Port and expresses frustration that Ruby was made team leader and not her.

** When Ozpin tries to explain that he has reasons for keeping secrets, Yang insists that he can share with them because they will never turn their back on him... only for her and the rest of Team RWBY to be shocked by Ozpin's [[OOCISSeriousBusiness response]]. [[spoiler:[[TheMole Professor Lionheart]]]] said the exact same thing only to betray him to Salem later, and he wasn't the first to do so.
