* AdaptionInducedPlotHole: The dub version has a few mistakes during the duel between Yugi and Kaiba, surprising considering the movie was originally made for the english audience. These mistakes include; leaving out the explanation for Kaiba using Paladin of White Dragon's effect to summon his blue eyes, showing Yugi draw "Wave Diffusion Motion" instead of the correct "Double Magic" near the end of the duel, Anubis summoning his two sphinxes without explanation in the dub, and Yugi declaring his turn over after destroying pyramid of light (whereas in japanese he never ended his turn and went right to summoning the God cards).
* AdaptionalPersonalityChange: Kaiba, as per usual; the dub significantly ups his ego mania and obsession with defeating Yugi, and makes him a huge sore loser as well, whereas the japanese dub has him acknowledge that he wants to win under his own power, rather than through the influence of Anubis.
