At Goha Seventh Elementary, fifth-grade student Yuga Oudou feels that the duels have become cramped by adults. So he develops a new invention, called "Road", as a new rule to make everyone enjoy dueling again, and comes up with new ones every day. Then one day, Luke from the next class over shares news about a rumored "King of Duel." Curious, both Yuga and Luke arrive at a significant stone monument to find a mysterious person in front of it. "The King of Duel" offers them a challenge to win at duels within a limited time to become the new "King of Duel". Yuga and Luke accept the challenge, with Yuga deciding to use his own idea, "Rush Duel". From there, the two boys shall change the cramped world with new duels.
