''Unico in the Island of Magic'' is a 1983 animated feature film based on the ''Manga/{{Unico}}'' manga by Creator/OsamuTezuka. The film is the second to be based on the character (the first being ''Anime/TheFantasticAdventuresOfUnico'') and, like its predecessor, was created by Creator/{{Sanrio}} and Tezuka Productions with animation by Creator/{{Madhouse}}. It was released the same week as Madhouse's ''Manga/BarefootGen'' and used many of the same staff.
