I deleted the Unfortunate Implications entry, on the grounds that the husband was justified, seeing as his wife was throwing fruit at Banchi (who\'s a child). Not only was he defending Banchi, the slap was a light one. She was shocked, rather than physically injured by it. And by the end of the episode, she had given her husband a blackeye and a swollen jaw in retaliation. So, if anyone was being abused, it\'s him.

** UnfortunateImplications created by the fact it could show DomesticAbuse is justified if the wife is perceived as enough unbearable and unnerving.

'''''Patapata Hikōsen no Bōken''''', or '''Secret of Cerulean Sand''', is a 2002 Japanese / Korean co-productionan and lasts 26 episodes.

[[IThoughtItMeant This is]] '''not''' ''Anime/NadiaTheSecretOfBlueWater'', even if the wo works share common features and themas.

It is inspired from ''Face au drapeau'' ("Facing the Flag") and ''L'Étonnante Aventure de la mission Barsac'' ("City in the Sahara"), both written by Creator/JulesVerne.

The mother of Georges and the heroine, Jane Buxton, , died [[DeathByChildbirth while giving birth to her]], and her father remarried and had another son, William.

One day, Georges hears about a mysterious cerulean sand able to enable machines to fly and mount an expedition in the Middle East, where this sand come from. During this expedition, Georges is executed for treason.

One day, Jane reveives a letter containing this mysterious sand and decides to mount an expedition to rescue her brother, whom she believes to be still alive...
