In the distant future, boxing matches are played with mechanical equipment know as Megalo Box, and the Shiraki Corporation will host a tournament for anyone to enter. Young outlaw Junk Dog, who is used to fighting in underground boxing matches, is not interested in fighting in such tournament, but at the same time, he wishes to fight a real battle instead of purposely losing the matches.

Then everything changes when he meets Yuri.
