* AllPowerfulBystander: [[spoiler:Kimi has what seems to be complete power over time and space, and could kill anyone the instant she felt like it. Instead, she tries to live a normal, peaceful life among humans to attempt to see if they can live in harmony. Then the Koshides just happen to ruin all of that and kill nearly everyone like [[HistoryRepeats humans apparently do every time she tries]], albeit she apparently waits to see the end goal out. The moment her patience is finally shot, however, she gibs the Koshides and ends the plot then and there.]]
* BespectacledCutie: Yuri, one of the two lead characters. [[spoiler:Unfortunately, she is ultimately revealed to be CuteButPsycho.]]
* BigSisterInstinct: Yuri believes herself to be Kimi's older sister and tells her this [[spoiler:when they find the hidden tomb that Taka found]] to try to console a heartbroken Kimi. However, [[spoiler:both of them start to ''really'' believe that they really are sisters, complete with Kimi recalling the events of long ago when her apparent ancestor watched Yuri's apparent ancestor sacrificing her life to protect her. * BitchInSheepsClothing: [[spoiler:Yuri and her family moving into Housing Complex C is part of the reason why everything's going wrong. Considering that all the neighbors act relatively friendly, it's a huge surprise when one of the neighbors, who just had a note detailing what's going on and is going to warn Kimi, is suddenly stabbed from behind by Yuri's dad. She shows disgust as to how HistoryRepeats, and dumps the organs of Yuri's parents all over her. * MuggingTheMonster: [[spoiler:Yuri and her family are all insane, murderous cultists who worship an eldritch god heavily implied to be Cthulhu. * {{Protectorate}}: Everyone native to Housing Complex C wants to protect Kimi no matter what, and even Kan and Yuri join in on it. [[spoiler:While Kan was doing it out of genuine altruism, Yuri was really just a BitchInSheepsClothing. This is immediately following Kimi's lengthy TheReasonYouSuckSpeech that pointed out how ''annoyed'' she was with the Koshide family for murdering everyone and destroying Kimi's peace, and with humanity in general for their violent ways. Yuri [[LudicrousGibs gets mushed]] for it, though she was probably dead either way.it. Kimi even comments on how stupid Yuri was.]]

* TimeLoop: [[spoiler:For reasons known only to herself, Kimi has been intentionally making the residents of Kurosaki relive the year of 2000 AD. It was a peaceful year for her and she enjoys it. It only applied to the town though, as outsiders like the Koshides would bring in modern technology like cell phones that threatened to shatter the illusion. Considering that she's existed for 20,000 years, it's implied that she does choose to update the year every few decades as to make people not too suspicious]].

* AssholeVictim: [[spoiler: The Koshide family. They murder everyone at Housing Complex C in the finale, and Kimi kills all three of them in turn when she reveals herself to be a god. It's hard to argue that they didn't deserve it]].
