The sixth entry in the ''Anime/PrettyCure'' franchise. The title comes from the heroines' fresh fruit EdibleThemeNaming.

''Fresh'' was an attempt to refresh (no pun intended) the ''Anime/PrettyCure'' franchise after the successful but derivative ''Anime/YesPrettyCure5''. It lowered the number of main characters to a manageable three, allowing for more development per character, and increased the amount of action and drama. The show later introduces a StoryArc focused on Labyrinth agent Eas, who attempts to [[TheMole infiltrate Love's group]] and steal her TransformationTrinket, only for the story to [[{{Deconstruction}} deconstruct]] BecomingTheMask in [[VillainousBreakdown the most painful way possible]], culminating in the birth of [[SixthRanger the fourth Pretty Cure]], Cure Passion.

* ButNowIMustGo: [[spoiler:At the end of the series, Labyrinth is now a safe and friendly enough environment for Setsuna, Hayato, and Shun to return, and return they do. Of course, there's no reason why they can't come back and visit. In the 'specialty'-assigning episode, whereas we get stuffs like Peach specializing in punching, Berry specializing in kicking, Pine specializing in stamina, Passion specializing in speed/dodge, kind of make sense at first. However, each Cures have been known to use all four traits sparingly. The reveal of that specialty-assignment also end up causing a CripplingOverspecialization and caused the Cures to fare badly, until Miyuki tinkers things up to make them realize that TheAesop is the usual 'teamwork' and synchronizing their hearts with those specialization which granted them ''Lucky Clover Grand Finale''. And yet in said attack, none of the 'specializations' mentioned shine on.

** Compare [[spoiler:Westar and Soular's explanation about their [[BackFromTheDead comeback]]]] with the prologue of KamenRiderBlackRX. Cue Kamen Rider jokes about [[spoiler:those two]] spread within the fandom.

* RampageForANail: The TyrannosaurusRex chasing after Cure Pine in the movie because a glass or sorts got stuck on its leg.

Also, Peach, Berry and Pine's personal attack will always begin with "Bad things, bad things, go away!"
