He then orders her personal guard to blow up the room after 10 hours, just to make sure that if killing her that way (instead of doing it herself) also sets her power off, it would be beyond the time limit of her Geass. That way, if her Geass DOES activate, the only place it will put her is back in the temple at a point where she's already asleep and unable to do anything. That she shows up in C's world afterwards proves that last part wasn't entirely necessary, but it didn't hurt to be safe.]]

* InvincibleVillain: Zilkhstan, known as "The Land of Warriors", is said to be an invincible kingdom and even defeated an army of Britannians at some point. [[spoiler:This is probably because Chamna can use MentalTimeTravel to predict any strategies her opponents will use and distribute that information to her subjects.]]

* EasilyForgiven: Despite some of the horrible things that he did in the past, many of the characters are willing to work with Lelouch to save Nunnally. The only characters who visibly reacted negatively to his return, at least at first, were Suzaku and Cornelia. That said, C.C. did have to stop Suzaku from punching Lelouch and explained that she's the one who wanted Lelouch resurrected, while Cornelia is initially wary because Lelouch killed Euphy and Darlton only to put her anger aside so they can save Nunnally together.

* AlternateContinuity: The film follows the continuity of the CompilationMovie retelling of seasons 1 and 2, which has multiple different events compared to the original anime, like the exclusion of Mao or the outcome of Shirley's storyline, and most notably C.C. being unable to accept Lelouch's death which then leads to her resurrecting him, unlike in the original series.

[[spoiler:Lelouch's body is resurrected after the Zero Requiem thanks to the combined efforts of C.C. and Shirley, and he further regains his mind after she uses a gate to the collective unconscious in Zilkistan to pull back his soul.]]

** Suzaku spends half of the movie in captivity and torture until C.C.'s group rescue him.

* BatmanGrabsAGun: Lelouch admits that under his credo that the only people who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed in return, [[spoiler:a person who has died but has been returned to life through the actions of C.C.]] no longer has business on a battlefield, but he's willing to set that aside for one battle because Nunnally is in danger.
* BeneathNotice: Shirley's greatest asset. Given that almost nobody knows her importance to key figures such as Lelouch, Nunnally, and C.C., she's the only one who can move around without alerting intelligence agencies all over the world. * RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Asides from the usual royals such as Cornelia and Lelouch, Shalio, the King of Zilkistan, is a talented pilot whose fighting ability can par on Suzaku.
* SealedOrders: One of the tests Lelouch does to figure out what [[spoiler:Chamna's]] Geass is to come up with a number of battle plans and have C.C. choose which to use without any input from him. [[spoiler:Since C.C. is immune to Geass, the fact that the new plans were predicted proves that it wasn't mind reading.]]
* ShadowArchetype: Like Lelouch, the BigBad Chamna had wanted to change the world for the better for her disabled younger sibling. However, she has none of his [[TheFettered fetters]], and is even willing to harm complete innocents to achieve these goals.
* ShedArmorGainSpeed: The Knightmares piloted by Suzaku and Kallen are [[spoiler:built around a Lancelot and a Guren. In the climax, they shed all the extra parts to go back to their iconic Frames so they'll be able to keep up with the smaller Knightmares they're fighting.]]

* WhatTheHellHero: Though she's glad to see Lelouch again, Kallen calls out on C.C. for resurrecting him against his will and asks her if this is what he really wants. C.C. truthfully admits that she did it out of selfishness and that Lelouch still has to fulfill his promise to her.
